Re: Symptoms - Week of 7/8

  • Well I finally found my lunch disgusting today. I was waiting on it. I also have had some slight nausea today. I just want a nap and coffee LoL

  • Exhaustion came roaring in like a lion the last 2 days yet I still am having insomnia

  • How am I constipated already? HOW?! I’ve gained weight already and I swear it’s just from not going to the bathroom.
  • Anyone dealing with constipation, try colace. It’s a stool softner and helped me with my first pregnancy.

this pregnancy is my 5th, and it’s feeling similar to my 2nd except I don’t remember cramping this much. They aren’t painful, just more of an annoying feeling. My lower back hurts quite a bit this time so I’m hoping that’s a good sign of my progesterone levels being where they need to be. I dry heaved for the first time tonight and I have a feeling this baby is going to be similar to their sister and dislike carbs.

We have two sleeping beauties in heaven.

They will be forever missed. <3

  • Anyone else dealing with horrible nausea?! I don’t even want to get off the couch because my stomach is always so queasy. I’m wearing sea bands, taking tums, eating pretty bland (other than kfc yesterday), and I’m not sure what else to do. Any other suggestions? I remember this with my first one but not this early (today is 6 weeks).
  • @ashley14598 I'm so sorry! That is the worst! I was exactly the same with DD and early too! Preggy pop drops and I found if I ate little snacks often (even though I had to force them in my mouth) it helped. My nausea seemed to get worse when my stomach was empty which was hard because I wanted nothing to do with food. Unflavored almonds helped because they don't have a strong smell or taste and are packed with protein.
  • Ditto to all who say the nausea is here.  Sitting on the last car of my commuter train.  The rocking.  The people that smell like people.  Air.  Ugh.
  • @ashley14598 I barely had it with my first and have been having a pretty rough time since before I got a + test this time around. I don’t have any great suggestions, but I am right there with you.

I have been drinking iced, unsweetened ginger-lemon or peppermint tea. It’s the only thing that has really been helping.
  • I have a pimple... inside my ear. Damn hormonal acne...
