More randoms from me ... not sure of this has been discussed yet, but any STM+ ditching the diaper bag this time? I can't stomach the thought of a giant diaper bag again. I'm thinking of getting a diaper clutch (like the Skip Hop) and throwing it in my regular purse with a change of clothes (I carry a large tote most days anyway) and calling it a day. I always have diapers/wipes clothes in both cars so I'm hoping this will be a good plan.
I think we’re gonna go with a diaper backpack this time around. The straps on the tote were a pain in the ass last time. We’ll also have two in diapers, and an extra hungry big kid who needs snacks constantly, but I think the backpack will make it more manageable.
@kayjay44 Yeah if I had 2 in diapers, I think I'd have to also. I did when DD was born but my older 2 are only 19 months apart. we had 2 in diapers for a long time!
DS & DD are long out of diapers (will be almost 7 and 5 when baby is born). I might regret it but I'll think I'll give it a try without at first.
@McKBaby brilliant. I hate diaper bags too. We had to throw ours away (long story) and we haven’t missed it. Might get a diaper backpack for DH took keep in his car, I’ll be going the tote route.
@McKBaby - re: diaper bags... I’m a massive overpacker so I can’t ditch the diaper bag ever. I do toss a JuJuBe Be Quick (diaper clutch) into my large MK tote purse sometimes to run quick errands. Most of the time I’m rocking my JJB BRB backpack because I really love being hands free (which I need to be so that I can chase G and keep him from running into traffic ).
And re: Disney... oh yeah! We’re of the mentality that we’ve been before and we’ll obviously go again so we don’t have to go balls to the walls.
@McKBaby I’m back and forth. I’m not crazy about diaper bags in general, but I am a JJB fan.. makes no sense. I have a blackout Be Classy that I used with Lou and liked quite a bit. It’s not too big but fits what I need. I also have a Toki BRB which is a backpack but is a little big for me for just 1 on the day to day. I’ll probably just see how I feel when the time comes, but I think I’ll get a pump bag in the interim.

We’re going to my moms house for the fourth today (she has a little splash pool DS loves) and all I want is an ice cold corona with a super juicy lime. Also red jello cut into stars, like we used to get when I was a kid.
Today I’m home with DD and. I’m torturing myself watching a tv show called “you gotta eat here” (similar to Drive ins, diners and dives but canadian). The food looks soo friggin good. Anyone here from chicago? I envy you. The restaurants and food he showed was mouth watering and i want it nowwwwww. All of it.
I have a diaper bag backpack that I love. It’s from TwelveLittle. It’s a real backpack, not a convertible bag, but it’s tricked out like a diaper bag with lots of pockets and easy clean materials.
Does anyone have any recommendations for an eyelash growth serum that is effective and safe to use during pregnancy?? I stopped getting lash extensions and I need something to help grow my poor stubby eyelashes!! I am using one from Amazon by Organys, I'm not sure if it is working though.
I want popcorn. That’s all I want. Specifically the kind my DH makes. He goes all out and makes it from scratch. If he doesn’t make popcorn tonight, I might revolt.
MIL has had DD since yesterday afternoon since I worked last night and work tonight. She's (supposedly) coming home in a few hours so I can at least watch fireworks with her. I miss her but I need the sleep.
I will say this is probably the most depressing 4th of July yet given the current status of this country, and I don't feel like celebrating.
Just thought I’d say Hi & happy 4th to all the American bumpies. I’m Canadian, so happy belated Canada Day to my fellow canucks. This week has been stressful as I wait for a repeat ultrasound so I decided I should try & to stay off the bump - total failure. I’ve just been lurking all the threads (established & random) daily.
I wore a “Red White and Due” shirt over to my moms to announce. She never catches on to these types of announcements. 3 1/2 hours later my sister had to basically lead her to it
Edit: it also had “February 2019” at the bottom with baby footprints and scrunchy maternity sides so VERY obvious.
@LuLiLaEv My dad asked how we already knew the baby was a girl because my daughter wore a “Big Sis” shirt to tell him. SMH,he felt like an idiot about 10 seconds later.
I will say this is probably the most depressing 4th of July yet given the current status of this country, and I don't feel like celebrating.

My first was born in january and being oregnant in fall/winter was lovely. So comfortable (weather wise). Thanksgiving and Christmas = great time to pig out on delicious food. And by the time spring came I was starting to loose baby weight.
