@ruby696 Yeah, I was thinking this place has been oddly civil. I’m a newbie, but I was hanging out in TTCAL and lurked in TTGP, and people were WAY snarkier there. Pretty much always justifiably so!

I was also around in '14 & '15 with my first baby and got banned for extreme snark. It really was like Lord of the Flies up in here. Fun and frustrating (funstrating?).

Just kinda wanting to vent. So going back 5ish weeks ago... 4 days after we found out I was pregnant (after trying for 8ish months)... our dog was diagnosed with lymphoma. We started doing chemo right away which has been stressful as hell on me but she's doing great right now so it's worth it. Today we found out that it our cat also likely has lymphoma. Feeling like every time we start to round a corner and settle in, life is throwing us a new curveball

@megpants209 - I’m sorry, sounds like you have a lot going on. Being an adult fucking sucks. I wish someone would have made that more clear to me so I wasn’t in such a rush to grow up.

Yikes @megpants209 that's a lot to deal with at once. Pets are great but they do cause an awful lot of grief. I'm glad at least your dog is responding well to treatment. Good vibes for your cat.

Also part of the great 2014 year of the bump. I tried going over to the dark side, but it just wasn’t as easy to navigate and everyone in M14 had gone to FB anyway. After going through J17, I will say things aren’t the same here. They limit WAY too much and ya d out warnings for no reason. Having to bite my tongue isn’t good for my blood pressure. Lol I met some really great moms, though, and I love my J17 group so much.

I played golf this morning with DH and now I REALLY want Dairy Queen to cool off. Whenever I go out for ice cream though it’s hard to justify spending more than $0.99 (or $0.59) for a cone at McDonalds..

So my PA must have heard me say I was going to find somebody else if she didn’t answer me today. Got an email about my ultrasound this morning. Week behind what I thought, and knew it was just as likely. Looks like I’m due Feb 23rd. Which is hilarious. My bday is June 23rd, DD is December 23rd and our wedding anniversary is May 23rd.

ETA: I swear I’m not an alcoholic - summertime drinking is my favorite and my MIL is insane - she tried to give me my husband’s foreskin as a gift.

I did not keep my son’s foreskin - MIL is fucking crazy. When DH and I had been dating a few months, she out of the blue told us we could go up and have sex in her shower while my ILs were home. I have a plethora of these I will be sharing.

For some reason, I've been going through super old videos of DS & DD when they were tiny babies.  I can't believe how much they've grown and my pregnancy hormones can't handle it!

I more wanted to know if I could hide it enough to get on to a few rides I would be fine on but that aren’t recommended for pregnant women (Radiator Springs Racers, Soarin’ - no coasters, nothing with sharp turns or abrupt movement). I won’t be able to hide it, but they can’t stop me from getting on...

@McKBaby I just did this earlier today. All the feels over how tiny my baby was!! I also went through my HDBD pics today @kayjay44 and wonder how much bigger I’ll be his time

When I did DL pregnant I was so pissed that I couldn't do Indiana Jones!  It's one of my faves and they don't have it at WDW!
