I had to buy a bunch of loose, flowy shirts to hide my blump at work. I should just tell everyone, but my PGAL brain won't let me do it until I'm further along. I'm pretty sure everyone thinks I'm just gaining weight. So that's kind of embarrassing.

@ruby696 - I get that. I’m not eating and have lost some weight, but I’m so bloated I look like I’ve put on 15 lbs.

@ruby696 I gained a good amount of weight over the winter and bloat early when I’m pregnant - at our schools graduation at the end of May (before I knew I was pregnant) a colleague asked if I was pregnant. I almost punched him in the mouth. Turns out I was.

This is is my second and the blump is out of control. Feels pretty appropriate that my phone autocorrects “blump” to “blimp”

Yep on the blump..baby #3 wants to makes its presence known.

Today is mine and DH’s 7th wedding anniversary and we aren’t doing anything. I’m really ok with that too.

I've decided with this pregnancy, I am taking no one's shit when it comes to the size of my bump/body. Comments like "wow you look pregnant," "you're ready to pop," or "are you sure it's just one in there?" will be met with a mocking laugh, eyeroll, and then "so is it my turn to comment on your body now?" People who say rude, dumb shit have been handled politely for too long. It's time to stop being nice and start getting real.

This blump is real. I never experienced it with my first pregnancy, so I didn't know what was going on until you ladies all have been mentioning it. I am strictly wearing flowy dresses to work these days, so I'm sure people are wondering why I've gained like 15 pounds in a month. Nope just little bean wanting to be seen! I can't tell anyone at work yet because I am due right in the middle of my busiest time of the year so I'm trying to come up with a plan before I spill the beans. I'm pretty sure everyone already has an idea since I've basically been sleeping at my desk this entire day.

My last pregnancy I had a big bump towards the end. Im petite in the first place so it makes ot look bigger, but a few people had the balls to say “are you sure its not twins”. I gave glares.

Its so hot in the toronto area this weekend. Makes the nausea even worse. I hate heat.

@cali1710 That question... Irritating is an understatement. So not only have you just told me I'm enormous (thank you, I hadn't noticed), but you're also basically calling me stupid, because OMG, maybe I just missed the fact that there are two in there!

I don’t know if anyone else is a huge Friends fan like me but when I had my ultrasound I felt a little bit like Rachel.

Ultrasound tech: there’s the heartbeat!
me: where?
UT: you see that flickering thing right there?
me: ....no...
UT: moves in closer.
Me: oh! I see that!

Honestly, still don’t really know what I’m looking at this early and this is the 5th one I’ve had. It gets easier when it actually looks like a baby

I totally agree @LuLiLaEv. The one with the US is weird. I couldn't imagine walking into a room without introducing myself and then just hand people pics of my insides.

I'm also just going to assume all of the people with a Knottie username are all just the same person. They might as well be.

@LuLiLaEv - literally just coming here to post the same thing. It’s like walking into a group of women and being like “hi, here’s everything about me and a picture of my uterus.” slow your roll. Maybe lurk or show some support for others who’ve been actually involved and active before making it all about you.

Im really salty tonight. @BourbonBiscuits - normally I would be saying something on each of these posts with at least a little snark - I’m trying not to get banned before first tri is over though

Also, I miss spending time with my husband after the kids go down. My daughter makes it later than I do every night so we never get alone time. Second tri can’t get here fast enough.

I am a huge friends fan! This was totally me with my first US with DS and that is exactly what I was thinking about when they said “do you see it?” The US I had today seemed a little easier to tell what it was (I guess cause I knew where to look this time) but it still pretty much just looks like a blob to me

@kayjay44 Now I need to go to Dairy Queen! I really hope I can talk my doctor into another ultrasound. I thought I was 8 weeks instead of 6 so I really hope I get to see the baby looking like a baby instead of a blob lol.

Ugh what is up with all these weirdo one-off topics? I wish The Bump had restrictions on creating topics until you have made a set number of replies in other topics first. Apparently three days of lurking isn’t enough to learn the rules for some people...

@bleucheeznwine the knotties screennames drive me crazy. Especially when there are explicit directions on how to change it AND members of this board have gone out of their way to create separate posts on how to change your username. I feel like people are just lazy and/or can’t follow simple directions.
