My H and I have been together for 12 years and married for 7. We have one son, 16, and one daughter together who is 20 months; two in October. Little bundle was an unexpected surprised; we had talk and he knew I wasn’t on the pill because of how it made me feel but we were so infrequent, I don’t think he was worried. Anyway after I though my depression was coming back I started doing some math and realized I hadn’t had a period since I was I school, I teach 7th grade English, so I decided to take a test. Didn’t even make it to laying it on the counter and it was positive. Obviously, LO is due in February, first dr appointment is the end of July. Excited to have another little- I always wanted 3 to 4 kids, but this will probably be it.
Woohoo I can finally post! I’m Meg, 32 and married almost 4 years. First baby due 2/4 after quite a time of trying (never saw a specialist though) and we’re staying team green! Looking forward to having others to complain to because first tri is kicking my ass so far.
Hi! I'm 29. I have a five year old daughter. I struggled significantly with my mental health after she was born so we had to put our dreams of expanding our family on hold for a while. But after a little over a year of serious TTC here we are. I couldn't be happier. Haven't seen the doctor yet but based on my LMP my DD would be 2/27.
Hello, I'm 29 and my DH is 36. We have been married for 3.5 years and have been trying to get pregnant for 2 years. TW
Due to severe MFI, we started IVF this past January. We ended up with 3 viable 5-day blasts. However, our first fresh embryo transfer turned out negative.
At the end of May, we did a FET of a 5-day blastocyst which took and now we're pregnant. As of now, our EDD is Feb 16th. Since we just graduated from RE, we won't have another appointment until July 17th.
Hello! I'm 28 and DH and I have been together for 10 years and married for 4. We have a 19 month old daughter and we are expecting our 2nd! I went to my Dr. 7 weeks after my LMP but the ultrasound showed I was measuring 6 weeks - which also happened with DD. I go in again soon so we can try and hear the heartbeat since we couldn't pick it up the first time. Anyway we will know better after the ultrasound but EDD is 2/19
Hi there! My husband and I have been married for two years and I am 25 years old. We are finally expecting our first child on feb 1st! We are so excited for this adventure!
Hi All! I'm a newbie to this board. I'm 35 and my husband is 37. First time parents and it's scary since I'm considered advanced maternal age. I'm not sure if reading is helping me or just freaking me out more. This all still feels surreal, and my first appointment is at 8 weeks on July 9th. We're hoping for a little girl as me and the hubby are short , but really just want a happy, healthy baby. So looking forward to going through this together, ladies!
Hi everyone! This is my second pregnancy, I have a two year old. I was a member of the April 2016 group but not active. Hoping to be this time. Due date is feb 5th
Hi all! I’m 33 and DH is 44 and we’ve been married 7 years. DS is 4 and DD is 2 and I’m super excited to be here! I lurked on April ‘14 board and then participated some on May ‘16 elsewhere.
EDD is Feb 15 and first appointment is a little over a week away.
Hello! DH and I are both 35. Our son just turned 4. I've been nervous to join, but I had my first ultrasound last week and confirmed the pregnancy. I'm excited to be here! Based on my LMP, the EDD is 2/17 and the ultrasound showed the same thing.
Hi Everyone! DH and I are both 27 years old and this is our first babe. My husband and I have been together for 10 years, married for 2 of them and we couldn't be more excited about this new adventure. Our first OB appointment/ultrasound is a week from tomorrow and online "calculators" put us at 2/22 or so. Days seem to drag on so slowly lately! Glad to meet you all!
Hello Everyone! FTM here! My husband and I have been together for 10 1/2 years, married for 3 of those years, and TTC for 1 1/2 years. After missing my period once and not having it for a few months even though I wasn't pregnant, I went to an OB and got put on Clomid. It worked for making me ovulate but I still didn't get pregnant the first two months I took it so I didn't think it would happen the third time either. Much to my surprise and delight, the third time was the charm and I got my BFP(s) on Memorial Day weekend. I estimated my due date at around Jan. 29th and so did the doctor's office. I had my first ultrasound this past Thursday which, unfortunately, my husband couldn't go to because there was no coverage to switch shifts at his work. I knew the big news before the sonographer excitedly reported it to me after "taking the boring pictures first"... We're having twins! Needless to say, we're very happy and excited, while finding it funny because we had made so many jokes about me getting pregnant with twins on the first go and getting the two kids we wanted right off. Also, the sonographer gave me a due date of February 2nd so I was only a few days off.
Anyway, that's my long-winded story. I may feel kind of crappy right now and nervous about everything, but I'm elated to be on this journey.
Hello all! I will be 35 this Friday, DH is almost 33. We have been married 18 months. We lost baby #1 in February and are currently measuring right on track at 6w3d with what we hope is our rainbow baby. Levels are increasing as expected and I'm not as anxious this time around! EDD is 2/22/19.
Hi everyone! This is my second pregnancy, I have a two year old. I was a member of the April 2016 group but not active. Hoping to be this time. Due date is feb 5th
I was active on A’16 and still talk to a group of those ladies daily. Welcome!
@raeily - I have pretty bad ocd and struggled with horrible PPOCD and PPA when DS was born - I ended up in an outpatient program. I’m hoping to have a mental health check in when we’ve been around a little longer - I’m not ready to share my whole story with a group of strangers, so BOLO in a few months when the group is more established
Hey! I'm Destiny. My husband and I have been married 5 years this month and this v is our first! We're super excited for our little baby. Other than us, baby will come home to 2 dogs, a Maltese and German shepherd, and a cat( do cats even have breeds).
Hi! I’m 28 (about to be 29 in two weeks!). My husband and I have been married for 2 years and together for close to 10 and this is my first pregnancy. Estimated due date - Feb 28th! Looking forward to our first ultrasound in 2 weeks!
Hi! My name is Meaghan and I’m from Ontario, Canada. I’m 30 and am expecting baby #2 (due date is Feb 7th). My son just turned three on June 21st. My husband and I have been married almost 7 years and we met in high school. Looking forward to participating here as I found the first time around was super supportive and helpful!
Hi all, I’m Danielle, 30 and in Canberra, Australia. First pregnancy, my husband and I are super excited but nervous! By my last period my EDD is 21st Feb, however according to the ultrasound today it’s 26th Feb.
I've decided I'm ready to stop lurking! Hi, I'm Liz, 31 from Houston, Tx. EDD is 2/13/18. I have a 3.5 yo daughter, but three consecutive miscarriages prior to a healthy baby so I'm cautiously optimistic! Excited to get to know you all!
Hi guys!! This will be baby #2 for me!! I’m 30 years old and I have a 4 year old daughter. I’ve had to miscarriages so far and just found out I was pregnant again this week. I figure I am around 8 weeks but I haven’t seen a doctor yet. Just taking it day by day and hoping for the best!! At the same time I got engaged last month so we are also currently planning a wedding!! It looks to be a very exciting 2019!!
I’m so excited to finally post! I’m Danielle and I’m 32 from Brooklyn, NY and this is my second on the way! I have a beautiful little boy that will be 3 in October. My husband and I are scared but excited to have a second lol (like are we crazy?) I had a miscarriage in March and I thought I was roughly 6 weeks today. Turns out I’m 9 weeks and saw my little bean wiggling and heard the heartbeat. I’m so relieved and happy and excited to share in the journey on this board.
Hey everyone- I never expected to be here, yet here I am! I'm 33 and my husband and I have been married for 9 years. We have a 7 year old DS and a 2.5 year old DD. I had a tubal ligation in March of this year and found out this month that I'm pregnant with #3! Ultrasound (well I've actually had 2 already) showed baby is where it is supposed to be and healthy. It's been a shock and surprise to say the least, and my Dr is just as surprised- she's never seen someone get pregnant so soon after their TL. I'm finally starting to except it, but still in shock about starting all over since I've gotten rid of most the baby stuff! I'm due February 4th!
#1 arrived 6/3/11 #2 arrived 1/7/2016 #3 due 2/4/2019
Hi, this is my first pregnancy and it was unplanned and came as a surprise at not so good timing. Took a while to come to terms with it but still very anxious sometimes while trying to sort out my life soon. I'm 31yr old !!
Hi everyone. I'm a little late to join the party but I just got my BFP yesterday. I'm excited to join this BMB and meet all of you. I've been married for two years and DS is 15 months old. This is definitely an "oops" pregnancy and I'll admit I'm having trouble processing and feeling excitement. I was part of A17 and we have maintained a strong relationship. To be honest, I'm pretty unsure about a DD because I only had a few periods since I finished nursing DS and they were each a little different. I think I am due around 2/24 though.
Hi! I'm 9 weeks pregnant with my third. My husband and I have been married 8 years and have two boys, 6 and 4 years old. I had a placental abruption at 35 weeks with my youngest and he started having seizures (infantile spasms) at 15 months old. He's now over a year seizure-free on the ketogenic diet. I'm a bit nervous this time around, hoping for a healthy pregnancy, birth, and baby. Looking forward to getting to know you all!
Hi all - this is a long intro and I’m sorry. I’m 31 and DH is 33. We have a DD who just turned 4. We’ve been married 10 years, together for 14. I have PCOS so we did a couple rounds of clomid to get pregnant the first time around. I was on and off Metformin a few times after DD was born but it always kills my gut. I went back on Metformin in January because my weight was getting harder and harder to manage. I lost about 30 lbs between January and now due to walking and jogging and eating better. My periods are always irregular so when I went 2 months without one I figured it was normal. Started spotting early last week, thought AF had come and then a few days later I passed several huge clots. The second day it happened, I took a pregnancy test because it was just too much blood and so unusual. I didn’t expect it to be positive, I just wanted to confirm that wasn’t the case before I called the DR. Well, it turned positive in like 5 seconds so I went to the ER and they found a heartbeat and normal HCG levels, but an irregular sac. I go to my OB this week to find out more about this bleeding. It has since gone back to just spotting.
I am due 2/24 according to US, but I’m guessing it’s more like 2/15ish based on when conception could have happened. DD was always showing up on US as a week or 2 younger too. I am nervous about this, but optimistic. I am exhausted and emotional and am having some pretty severe mood swings. My poor husband and family are taking the brunt of it. Despite this not being the greatest timing, I hope the little blueberry sticks and that this first trimester goes super fast so I can start feeling like myself again.
Hello! Just came back from my first appointment and since this is really happening- I’ll share! I’m 35 and my husband is 38 and we are going on 9 years of marriage with 2 beautiful girls, ages 6 and 3. Baby #3 is due 2/14 (my birthday!) but will arrive the week before due to a scheduled c- section. Wishing everyone an easy 7ish months!!!
Hey ladies!! My hubs and I have been married almost 7 years! This is our third pregnancy. It took us 3 years to get pregnant with my DS who just turned 2 about 6 weeks ago. It took us 7 months to get pregnant with my DD. We lost her when I was 31 weeks pregnant to a true knot. Feb 23 of this year. I am now expecting my third due Feb 7,19. It only took us a month of trying. We are excited and a million other emotions! I am trying to enjoy this pregnancy as much as I can and I have loved getting to you ladies a little!
I have been married for 5 years to DH. I have 2 children. DS is 5, and DD is 4. EDD based on LMP is 02/18/2019. This was a surprise pregnancy, as I was actually scheduled to have tubal ligation next month. We were actually starting the process to adopt, and will now hold off for a while. We are excited, and nervous!
This is my 12th pregnancy, with only 4 live births so far. My first two babies (twins) died shortly after delivery 9 years ago. I have had multiple miscarriages since that pregnancy, due to a large amount of abdominal scarring. I am hoping they will do an ultrasound at my 1st appt to see if there is a heartbeat and/or status of the scar tissue. This is a new practice, so I am unfamiliar with this doctor and the staff. Hoping for the best.
Hey, everyone!! I'm 26 and this is my first pregnancy! My husband and I have been together almost 12 years and we were told 5 years ago that I wouldn't be able to conceive due to PCOS, but here we are! I'm over the moon and scared out of my mind, so I'd love to make friends with some other moms out there! Thanks for being so awesome!!!
Hello! After yrs of trying and dealing with an autoimmune condition, we're finally pregnant! We had just started the IVF process of retrieving the eggs n we got 2 frozen embryos to implant. We kept waiting for my next period to start the implantation process when we found out we got pregnant naturally in the meantime. Previously had a miscarriage 2yrs ago and i can't seem to not stress about it this time. My immune condition and my age and previous miscarriage keeps stressing me out. Trying hard to stay calm n positive. I'm due feb 4 2019 same month as hubby bday.. God help me! We've been trying for years and was starting to lose hope. Married almost 7yrs n not getting younger! Hoping all goes well!
Hi all! Hubby and I have been married for almost 6 years. This is my 3rd pregnancy. I have a 3 yo boy and a 13 month old boy. We've always been team green and plan on it this time too! It gives me more energy to push that baby out!
Hello, finally had an ultrasound today to confirm a due date of 2/11 so now I'm comfortable posting since I've laid eyes on baby! I'm 36, husband will be 35 soon and we've been married almost 6 years. This is #3 for us and we have 2 girls, 4 and 2. Our oldest was born with a CHD and I got coleostasis the second time. The week we found out about this pregnancy, DH started chemo for lymphoma. It's been a little crazy sharing our spectrum of news with people. We are team green each time and hoping for a healthy pregnancy and baby!
@whattalife525415 my DD has 2 CHDs and will be having open heart surgery next month. Right around when 1st tri ends and we were planning to tell people. So I understand a little bit of the spectrum news. It's hard to process myself the highs of new baby with the fear, nerves etc of my DDs health issues. Sending you and you DH good vibes!
