<div class="Spoiler">I have been really surprised by some of my symptoms! Okay, fatigue is expected, but carpal tunnel? Plantar fasciitis? Weird. But I mean, I'll take it. Hit 27 weeks yesterday, so it's wild to think we're at the doorstep of 3rd Tri... blows my mind. Some gifts have started to be spoken for on our registry, too, and I imean, I was just a mess, crying such grateful tears. Our family has no idea what it took to get us here (only SIL knows) so I mean, idk. But it makes me pretty emotional to think how far we've come.</div>
Keeping everything crossed for you!!! ❤❤❤ and all our June/July ladies still at it!

@BusinessWife thought I would come and update- just got our results back from the retested embryo and it came back normal! It is such a relief to have a second chance if this first transfer doesn’t work.

@BusinessWife I'm so sorry for not posting here for quite some time, I've been so down the past couple of weeks and I just didn't want to think about any of the IF stuff and all. But things got interesting and I had an ER two days ago and it was without anaesthesia since we only had 2 follies. It went well and those 2 were fertilized! I might have a fresh transfer tomorrow (6/30). Pls keep me in your prayers.

I've lurked a while at the PAIF board and saw ur EDD is 9/9, my bday is 9/8, I'll absolutely remember you on that special day

Hang in there, friend just a little more time and you will be holding your baby in your arms! Squeeee! I'm so excited!!!

@tinjp78 we have an ERA scheduled for July 17 and if all goes well - transfer scheduled for August 27th. Congrats on your retrieval! So exciting you may be doing a fresh transfer in a couple of days!! Fingers crossed for you!!

@tinjp78. Oh wow. You have had a lot going on, lady! And I totally get the burnout. It's 10% understandable, and I remember feeling the same way by our second transfer. Like I just didn't even want to talk about it bc I was going through the motions at that point. But now here you are!!! Squee!! I will be thinking of you, wishing for a smooth and happy Transfer Day, and praying for your sticky, stubborn little embie(s)! Will you be transferring both, then? Or freeze one?

Hello my loves !!!

Cant believe it's time for my update!

since my last update the labor hit hard and that was it. At this point I literally am seeing double. You know when you have to wink so things look clear.

The moment finally arrived many unexpected hours of labor! My beautiful baby GIRL Shayla Adriana FINALLY arrived on June 1!! I induced Wednesday night May 30 and had a much longer labor then anticipated or wanted! I thought I was having a May baby but she obviously wanted June

. We're still in the hospital so trying to stay positive and hope to be home soon!! Definitely the most exciting and scary thing I've ever been through! Such a miracle! I'm so excited for mrsa2017 to get to this stage too!!

Not sure what everyone really wants to know so I'll put my update in the spoiler as it wasn't all smooth sailing!!

I was induced and contractions kicked in 4hrs into it. Nurses wanted me to wait for the epidural not sure why...some say because it would stop working during deliver...don't know, but wrong decision. My best advice ur hurting get drugs. I was in so much pain that trying to sit still when u need to for the epidural becomes much tougher!! So first was done with getting my epidural 7hrs into it and things were much better. I couldn't believe how much easier drugs made it. It hurt! FF to my cervix still being closed and needing more to get dilated. Finally get some action and and move on to pitocine to really get the party started...talk about painful especially as my epidural runs out and there isn't an anesthesiologist to refill me due to an emergency in the OR. Let's just say 4hrs of excruciating pain continues where I'm yelling to cut the baby out of me....which is horrible but that's the pain I'm in. So my point to all is don't be a hero and get the drugs!! I still progressed slow and needed a refresher on the drugs as the pain was returning and if it continued I would have no energy to push. After all this baby turns sunnny side up and that means I need a csection. This is 28hours into labor so dr try's to get her back into position. Remember they had the emergency in the OR for hrs which my dr was involved in so at this point I'm freaked out about surgery too! So dr magically gets the baby bac into position and I first finishing dilating Friday morning.
I pushed and pushed and actually ended up with a vaginal deliver! Can't believe I did it especially with my Lil darling being 8lb 4oz what a pkg right

. Delivery was not easy and my dr let's just say had to manually remove my placenta which was not cute and probably had him working on me for another 2hrs after I delivered.

it hasn't been smooth sailing, trying to BF and it has its challenges and here the baby is with u 24/7... but when ur baby is jaundice and needs to be in an incubator and it's screaming the whole time, that does not help the healing process. And still dealing.

As u can see this is why I needed a minute to update u all!! Is this the most magical wonderful Miracle YES!!! And I thought 2x about sharing the mess but everyone here has pretty much experienced there journey BUT I kno mrsA likes all her info

My meds running out was a human error which caused me hours of unnecessary torture. And trust me I felt terrible for whoever had the emergency taking up all the extra ppl BUT then have others on call?? I don't kno

i still am so thankful that I'm the one that finally got this lucky

@tinjp78 so excited to see ur update!! It's great that both rmbabies fertilized! Remember it's quality over quantity!! praying ur Lil rmbabies are growing and ur ready for a transfer!! I know ur miracle is around the corner!!

@bpietronicco loved seeing ur update as well!! Getting news back on a normal embryo is the best news u can ask for!! I had an inconclusive embaby and had it retested and it was normal too!!! Hoping the era gives u the best results for ur transfer!!

Our two embies reached blast!!!! Wooohooo! We got the news just a few mins ago (9:40am). We were supposed to be at the clinic today at 11am for a possible transfer but the nurse said they need 6hours more to observe, so we go there at 3pm. I'm still not sure what our dr will have us do today, but DH and I agreed that if we get an option to transfer, we'll take it and freeze one. Ohhhh, this is all getting so real!!!

Hello! I'm new here and will be starting my first IVF cycle in a few weeks. Just started two weeks of BCP to even out the follicles. I'm 39 with low AMH (0.1) and my fiancé is 42 with low morphology (2%). We tried naturally for 6 months, then one round of Clomid with no result, and have decided to start IVF. My doc has advised gentle IVF since I only have 4-5 follicles this month -- I'm not sure whether that is the best approach or not. I'm pretty nervous about the whole thing... thanks to everyone for sharing your experiences, it's really helpful to read through the posts.

@sunshine0225. Welcome to the boards! This thread is actually from June/July 2017. Sorry it's a bit confusing, but some of us are keeping in touch here from last year (and we can't re-name it at this pint, since its a year+ old) Some of us have moved on, some are still fighting the good fight! But the other June or July ivf threads on this same board will be a bit more active with others who are currently cycling right now. Best of luck to you!!!! It can be a bit of a rollercoaster, but it's worth the ride. ;)

@BusinessWife Yeeesss!!!! I'm PASP!!! I guess I'm just going to wait for my beta on 7/10. There is a big, loud voice in my head telling me that this 2nd try would be another bust, but I'll just put all of these things in God's hands. I'll just keep myself busy with trying to find happy things to do to increase the happy hormones in my body, sleep more, tidy up the house and stuff like that.

I miss it from time to time though and I always wonder how working women like you and others on this board could juggle all of it, the dr appointments, procedures, recovery, housekeeping responsibilities etc. When will you have your maternity leave? But until that time, I hope that you'd feel better soon. Just a little more time and baby is here!

Afm, 5dp5dt, cramps and sore bb's are my symptoms. I'm still not testing and will wait for my beta 7/10.

@BusinessWife First off, I'd like to apologize, I wasn't able to get my point out right on my last post. What I really meant was I am proud of working women who are, at the same time, doing ART. And I don't wish for anyone to quit and put their careers on hold because I, for one, miss working and earning soooo badly (and not missing it just from time to time as I wrote on that last post). (More) Truth be told, we are in a financial limbo right now which makes me pray harder to God to make this month work so I could get back to work and help DH save up. I've seen God's provisions over my life and I've been learning so much from such a time as this.

Got a BFP today!!! But, my HCG is just 13.4 and dr. Wanted them to be about 37.5 - 50. So Beta#2 is 7/13. I'm sooooo happy today. This is the first time that this ever happened.

@tinjp78 What you said was fine, don't worry. :) For me, I was working from home, exclusively for the business, before we started treatment, so I had no choice but to get out so we would have the IF coverage. It has been a big adjustment, and still is. But that is the truth, there's no easy way around it, either way - whether staying home and taking a pay cut, or working for benefits - it's a challenge no matter what. And I was going to say the same as @funkykey !!! Lol. Housework was pretty much the first to go! :D

) but from yesterday (9dp5dt) my symptoms had vanished and the second line on my cheapie didn't get darker today so I'm trying to prepare for the result for Beta2, tomorrow.

I've started my estrogen priming and will start stimming next month Aug. Lot's had happened since I started IVF last year (almost the same time I joined this board and met you all), and I must admit I learned a lot too. Just saying hi y’all! Didn’t know this thread was still going! @BusinessWife third trimester wow! And @Hopeful_mom you have a daughter? So happy for you! It gives me hope.

@tinjp78 always thinking of and praying for you. It is so hard.

Afm, found out last week that my first FET failed. We had two PGS normal embryos from five cycles (both came from the fifth) and this was the first. Was not expecting it to fail since it was normal so am petrified of transfer 2 since it’s our last chance, no more insurance, I’ll be 44, feels like end of the road yikes. So Ive demanded in an email an era, which will act like an endo scratch, and have also asked for another hsg since it’s been over a year.

Any other advice for me going into this last FET from some seasoned IVFers?

@Momifbysea I'm so sorry ur FET failed as I'm so thrilled u got normies! You have worked so hard for this!! Was it a cp or straight bfn? I think doing an era is smart. I wish normies were a sure thing but nothing in IF world is. On the low and thread there are some ladies that did a bunch of different tests but also have other issues such as thyroid or blood disorders which means other meds that are needed.

Do u have ur era scheduled?

After my FET I relaxed, had pineapple core, Brazilian nuts anything to help the cause! So glad You can go right into another FET when ur body is ready!

Edit to add that yes I finally was blessed with my miracle baby princess who will be 9 weeks in about an hour
