Those of you ladies from our cycle that had BFP— I’m having some cramping today. Nothing severe, but like I’m constantly feeling like something is going on down there and it’s worrying me a bit! Is this normal? I’m 15dp5dt which puts me almost 5 weeks. My boobs are still sore but anything extra I feel I’m just automatically worried about especially since my first US is still 2 weeks away! Ugh!

@tnh0413. There is definitely some stretching and cramping that goes along with the increased blood flow to the uterus early on. IMHO, there's no need for concern unless things turn *very* strong, *very* intense / painful, and especially if accompanied by heavy period-like bleeding. Definitely call your nurse and tell her first hand what you're experiencing if you're at all concerned, but hopefully it really is just part of the normal process of your body getting ready ;)

Thanks @BusinessWife I hope this is the case. It hasn’t been anything extreme but this is my first rodeo with a BFP so I have no idea what to expect. The next 2 weeks waiting before first US is already driving me a little crazy. I feel like I would feel much better if I was able to have another beta in between all this or something!

Thank you very much @Bababatty@BusinessWife@tnh0413 DH and I decided not to be/feel let down this time. We've just made peace with the idea that our little baby is still playing up there in heaven and enjoying his/her time, while mommy and daddy prepare ourselves for the perfect time he/she comes.
We are really hoping to try another IUI on this next cycle especially after my secheduled HSG this 2/2.
@tinjp78. That is such a beautiful thought and a great way to look at it! I know that happy thought helped me through many a long month of TTC... I will be so excited when you finally get your BFP!!! ❤
@tnh0413 some cramping is very normal, I remember having some on and off. Waiting for that first ultrasound is very nerve wracking, but your beta numbers have been excellent so try to stay encouraged

A bit of good news here, my HOMA-IR results came back and it's normal! Also, I just had my 2nd HSG and there is no problem! Yay!! It's just that I already have a couple of 10mm follicles and a trilaminar uterus so early on my cycle of CD8. So, I'd be taking some meds to slow down this progression. We are gearing for IUI #2 this month.
@tinjp78 I have no idea what HOMA IR means but yay for good results! How many days out are you until ovulation you think?

@helloworld9 HOMA-IR (Homeostatic model assesment-Insulin resistance). It is a method used to quantify insulin resistance and beta cell function. I'm glad that I have no trouble with this. I don't want any more issues adding up to my existing chocolate cyst. How are you doing? When is your DD? I'm so excited for you! Oh and I forgot if you already mentioned here, but do you know the baby's gender already?
My DD is May 5 and it's a boy! I can't wait until you get your BFP!

Hey ladies, I thought I'd check in since I feel like I haven't updated here in a while.
<div class=" Spoiler">After graduating the RE, I had my first appointment at the Obs office, with the midwife actually. She cautioned me that we might not find it so early, but we did get to hear the hb with the Doppler at 9+2! My next apt is 2/20 for the NT scan and NIPT labs, so I guess I will be 11+2. We have friends coming to visit the weekend prior, when we'll be telling them in person, and then I think we will try to get together with grandpa the following Sunday to tell him, too. DH was wondering when he can tell the guys he works with, and I said I think we should wait to tell grandpa first. Then I'll start working on a cute little photo arrangement thing for a paper announcement on shutterfly or zazzle or something, to send out to the more extended family. So that will be fun. I am starting to let myself get excited here, and I can hardly wait to start prepping diapers and get our furniture all set up... but one thing at a time, I guess. ;)</div><p> </p>

first US was today and we heard the heartbeat! It’s very surreal at the moment. My IF doc wants me to go back in another 1-2 weeks for repeat US to make sure things are continuing to move along. She thinks another 2-3 weeks on the Estrace and PIO before releasing me to OBGYN. I’m currently 7w1d

Thanks @funkykey and @BusinessWife! Right now we’re planning for a fresh transfer but our priority is as many good quality embryos as possible so we’ll play it by ear depending on what my hormones do, OHSS risk, etc.

I can't believe that today I'm 24weeks, big milestone for sure!! I'm still excited and terrified all at the same time. Last few days I've been having some unpleasant pains which was concerning and was glad I had an appt with my high risk dr today. It was nice her assuring me that everything I described is my ligaments stretching as they should. I'm thankful and grateful for everyday but I'm also scared and terrified all the time. Feeling this lil one move is the best feeling and I look forward to all of them! Baby is 1.5lbs so cute

A bit of update on where I'm at, my new dr's plan is that I try three IUIs and if they won't work then I go back to IVF. IUI #1 failed and this month I got benched for early O. And I've got another chocolate cyst, grrrr.
@tinjp78 Really hoping your IUIs work! And being benched sucks. Although it's best to have the best chance for the cycle you are doing IUI/IVF.

Ughh omg yes. @tinjp78 I spent so. Much. Time. Benched. It really sucks, but I know I learned to slow down, and gained a very deep kind of patience, I think, from the whole experience. I do hope it will feel like it's all worth it when one of your iuis works! :D. And even if you do move back onto ivf, hopefully it will be with that much more newfound insight. ❤ keep updating us, please!

Hi Guys!I haven't actually "come back", I think I'm just getting tagged? Yeah, I haven't been on here I think since my last cycle? Dunno... I had a lot to deal with with getting through the holidays and two due dates and surgery and whatnot. I'm super happy this thread is continuing! Buuuuut it is kind of hard to have multiple preg updates in one thread (at least for me at this moment)... its sort of like being in a BMB, but not because I'm not pg. I love seeing and hearing about each of your pregs in an individual basis, but this way is not working for me.....y'all know I love you each to death and I'm so over the moon about your babies. I didn't want to have to say this in case it makes any of you feel bad (DONT!) but I also don't want to leave anyone hanging. Does this make sense? Anyway... please know I'm very happy about healthy babies from this group (and hoping for more!! This is a lucky group) But just seeing all the updates in one place is not the best for me. Its sort of like being so proud your beautiful friends are having fun at the dance but feeling more like a wallflower because youre not yes, this gif is dramatic! But I thought it fit!

first US was today and we heard the heartbeat! It’s very surreal at the moment. My IF doc wants me to go back in another 1-2 weeks for repeat US to make sure things are continuing to move along. She thinks another 2-3 weeks on the Estrace and PIO before releasing me to OBGYN. I’m currently 7w1d

AFM I started stims for our 2nd round of IVF yesterday. We really like this new clinic, so hoping for lots of good quality blasts this time around.

A bit of update on where I'm at, my new dr's plan is that I try three IUIs and if they won't work then I go back to IVF. IUI #1 failed and this month I got benched for early O. And I've got another chocolate cyst, grrrr.

@tinjp78 Uggggh to the being benched! I still don’t really understand what a chocolate cyst is, but they really shouldn’t be using something so delicious to describe something so annoying. Can they do anything to stop you from getting them?
Yeah, I haven't been on here I think since my last cycle? Dunno... I had a lot to deal with with getting through the holidays and two due dates and surgery and whatnot. I'm super happy this thread is continuing! Buuuuut it is kind of hard to have multiple preg updates in one thread (at least for me at this moment)... its sort of like being in a BMB, but not because I'm not pg. I love seeing and hearing about each of your pregs in an individual basis, but this way is not working for me.....y'all know I love you each to death and I'm so over the moon about your babies. I didn't want to have to say this in case it makes any of you feel bad (DONT!) but I also don't want to leave anyone hanging. Does this make sense? Anyway... please know I'm very happy about healthy babies from this group (and hoping for more!! This is a lucky group) But just seeing all the updates in one place is not the best for me. Its sort of like being so proud your beautiful friends are having fun at the dance but feeling more like a wallflower because youre not
