Let's pretend that all of our SOs are part of a TTGP Bump board only for SOs. What would your SO's screen name be? What type of things would your SO talk about? Anything else you think your SO would do/like about participating on a Bump board?
MH isn’t a message board person and his screen name would probably be his call sign (he’s a military pilot) which is pretty identifying so I don’t want to put it out here. Now, if this were a forum on watches, cars, or racing he’d probably be more interested.
DD1: June '16 DD2: March ‘19 :::: Married since 2011 :::: USN Wife ::::
Mine is the same as @meggyme DH is in the Navy, so would use his too, and he uses it for everything, so won't post it. And if the forum was about lawn care, he would be on that like green on grass! Otherwise he is into some online gaming, so something along those lines would work too.
DH's would probably be something about a Camaro, his first car. And he's always liked the number 32 but I'm not sure why. He uses it in all of his usernames and emails.
ETA: He does get into this whole TTC thing, so he would probably talk about pressuring me to POAS super early at like 6dpo and I can see him having convos about figuring out when are the best timeS to HIO (emphasis on the multiple times ).
Other stuff he might talk about unrelated to TTC is fishing, hunting, and home renovation.
But all in all, he's not a super online person, so I can't see him getting on a forum like this.
DH isn’t into message boards like this. And he doesn’t really get into the whole ttc thing. He just shows up to drs appts when I tell him to lol. His screen name would probably have something to do with the Denver Broncos. He’d probably talk about football or the video game he’s into
Dh's screen name would probably be something GOT related or some football player he's making fun of. As far as TTGP he wouldn't have much to say. He would most likely talk about politics, TV shows, and football in a humorous way.
MH's screen name would probably be something about How I Need Your Mother since that's his favorite show. He probably wouldn't participate in an online forum, but if he had to be on a TTC forum he would probably talk about how obsessive I get over charting haha. He would probably also collaborate with others about how to be supportive during the TWW. MH tried to be supportive and say the right things when I'm stressed about TTC, but he's a guy so he doesn't really understand what women go through.
My DH is so not into this stuff, but hypothetically he would probably reuse use his playstation name which is his nickname for me and my birth year.
DH would be talking about video games and boating, and history (especially WWII history). In terms of charting, he'd probably be complaining about why I'm so obsessive about things during the TWW. He does look at my chart and review it, asking what particular things mean, but he really leaves the particulars (including when to test) up to me. He'd be asking, "how do you get your wife to chill?"
My DH tends to make his usernames or emails really random and a lot of times they'll have some type of food in it. It'd probably be something like Robot Taco. I won't share his actual stuff but it's along those lines.
Mine is super shy and quiet but seems to be ok with posting his feelings on FB. I know he wonders what I talk about all day long because he thinks I’m always on my phone texting someone or on the Bump. I’ve shown him some of the charts to compare to mine and what that means. He’s been through this (TTC) before with his ex but on the IUI/IVF side, she didn’t temp or track anything herself, only what the doctors did for her.
His screenname would probably be his initials plus something to do with golf and/or bowling.
I feel like he’d ask some questions about MFI and what he can do himself to help the process. He’d also be wondering how to deal with me when I go BSC but would be scared to ask it in case I ever saw the thread lol.
TTC History:

Dec '18-Mar '19: Letrozole + TI - all BFN

My husband would never get on a forum at all unless it was really really important to me. If he did, I don't really know what screen name he would choose. Probably something funny though because he has a wit about him. He'd probably end up talking mostly about his motorcycle, the patriots, about our house, and about work--work being at the top of the list since that's his other wife.
People think we become mothers when we give birth but the truth is we become mothers the moment we start calling our babies to us in our thoughts, dreams and prayers. Some paths are short and some are so long that you can easily forget where you were headed.

DH gives me flack about being here "you talk about your uterus on the internet?!" Lmao if only he know uterus talk was liken the most basic of what we talk about.... But if he did, his SN would be his Playstation username. He would probably discuss how crazy I am about all of this and how he just doesn't get how complicated it really is. Non TTC stuff would be retail related since that's his life outside of me.
