I've been thinking about this suggestion for a while now. There are a lot of wonderful ladies on this board that I miss because of WTO/TWW timing doesn't align, and I don't want to intrude on the TTCAL or IF threads. So, I was wondering if we could pull the daily GTKY questions from WTO/TWW out and do one big thread that is open to everyone every day? I know the WTO/TWW template has been in place for literally years, but it seems like the group here is small enough that it wouldn't become overwhelming to include everyone in a GTKY.
Thoughts? You can tell me it's a stupid idea. I'm tough. I can take it.
@general_organa Yesterday I thought about proposing combining the threads into one since they both seem to be so slow recently...at least until things pick back up.

I love this idea. The GTKY are always enjoyable as well as the 10 Things Tuesdays. We don't want to inundate the board, but if one of us has an idea and a daily hasn't been posted, why not?
Yay! I'm down for whatever. Combined TWW/WTO or just daily GTKYs. I think all the ladies here have a lot to offer and it's a shame to miss out on people because of the division of the dailies.
I say we combine the TWW/WTO. I feel like I never get the time to lurk the other board I'm not posting on and don't get a chance to help/get help from the ladies who have opposite cycles from mine. That also has the same effect of a daily gtky also, so we only need 1 question instead of 3.

Do we need a vote or should we just announce in each thread that they're being combined? I think it's fine with the group size.
@general_organa I think we can announce it in each thread. I hate making a decision that affects the rest of the board but I think since it’s so slow it should be fine. Unless of course someone else disagrees with that

I'm not oppose to a weekly GTKY. There are a lot of you that I like "conversing" with but don't as often becuase out cycles are opposite. But, I think the 2 should remain separate to avoid hurting those who are struggling at certain times. (I did comment on the poll post but came here to get the background info And figured I'd add my thoughts)
I know I'm super late to the party because I've been in meetings all week for curriculum and proposal writing for next school year, but I just wanted to add that I like having the two threads separate, but I think it would behoove the feeling of community to possibly have a GTKY thread...AND possibly trying to add more dailies like they had years ago like (Wo)man crush Monday, Ten Things Tuesday (or Twat Waffle Tuesday), Win/Whine/Wine Wednesday (or WTF Wednesday), UO Thursday, and FFFC. I know the group is small, but when this group was really hopping, it was the main way everyone got to know each other, plus it was great to have a designated place for complaint, venting, and "screaming," not to mention the sense of community that was felt by everyone.
People think we become mothers when we give birth but the truth is we become mothers the moment we start calling our babies to us in our thoughts, dreams and prayers. Some paths are short and some are so long that you can easily forget where you were headed.

I am a little over halfway done with my doula training. One thing I kind of wanted to include was a class or consulting on helping people get pregnant. Like learning how to track your cycles, things like that. If you were to sign up for something like this, would you prefer like an online class? A class in person? One on one training with just you?
@suzycupcake How have I not heard of this?!! This is amazing!
@sparklingdiamond I would prefer a class. It is nice to know how many others are in the same boat as you which can lead to a community...not as cool as ours but pretty close
Also late to the party but I love the idea of bringing back more of the daily threads and ways to interact. I’m already liking the separate GTKY because I felt like most of what I read/post is all focused on TTC -which is the point of being here of course- but when I was on back in ‘15 I felt like there were more opportunities to build relationships which in turn felt like stronger support system.
DH is making four dozen cupcakes (french vanilla, chocolate peanut butter) tonight for a work thing tomorrow. I think a little goblin is going to have to get into them later ....
Hi everybody, I've been stumbling on the right way to do this (if there is one.) I try not to post here, though you guys are always in my thoughts. But I felt pretty strongly after seeing the new movie Tag this weekend that I needed to share that it's got some serious TW content. It was insensitive and honestly I'm pretty appalled.
**TW about loss**
There is a storyline about miscarriage and it’s not handled very sensitively.
Full disclosure in this spoiler, which is also a bit of a main movie storyline spoiler-
A character fakes a pregnancy and miscarriage for the sake of the game, and has ZERO remorse over it.

Anyway, apologies if sharing was out of line, but I really just didn't want anyone stumbling into an ugly/upsetting surprise.
@meri-mac Cupcakes for life!!! @catlady2015 I am impressed with YH! Can you share?! @meggyme Agreed! All the chocolate chips are needed. @lulu1180 Those sound good. You will have to share the recipe if they are any good.
I make a chocolate banana bread from drizzlemeskinny that is basically like chocolate cake. Maybe next time I should pour it in cupcake tins and make a PB frosting to go with it!
@JLaVO888 ooh, yum! I’ve never attempted zucchini bread but I’ve eaten plenty of it and think it’s great! Do you have a go-to recipe to share? I’d love it if so
I hadn’t made it YEARS. But we had a bunch of left over grilled zucchini that I didn’t want to go to waste. I just googled a recipe but it came out amazing. I used pecans instead of walnuts though.
I had a weird craving for a hot dog yesterday and have no idea why. It's not something I ate often even before my diet. Then proceeded to eat three of them last night (no buns though) but still. Why hot dogs lol?
@sparklingdiamond I love hotdogs but I need a bun and lots of toppings like a Chicago dog or chili dog or ketchup, mustard and tons of relish and I love love love corn dogs. Its such crap food but I can’t help it.
