Another tip for coats- I had the expensive zip in thing and used it like once. I ended up wearing my husbands ugly coat all winter and loved it. Was super comfy, worn in, even if I looked like a hobo. Check out hubbys wardrobe

I also wear my husband’s coat in the winter when pregnant. I have no intentions of buying a full on winter coat. I just dropped $200 on a Marmot coat last year.

If I try to take my husband's coat in winter he might kill me. He's very into his coats. To his defense, they're nice coats! Depending on how big I get, they might be too small for me anyway.

@grebretso my husband is a fancy coat hog too... which is why I only got the ugly old one. Ha. I tried to borrow the nicer ones once or twice, it was like a toddler sharing toys.

@ssag haha, I can just picture it! My husband did have a ratty old coat, but he gave it away. I'll figure something out when the time comes!

My biggest issue with a winter baby...germs. It isn’t a big deal with your first, but this is my third. When my second child was born, she got 6 colds in her first 13 weeks of life. SIX! And she was breastfed.

@ThePax89 agreed. It was hard enough with a summer baby.

Also, I busted out my maternity shorts today. I give no fucks. My regular ones push on my abdomen too much and make me nauseous.
