@lpq0309 that is a heck of a deal! I was so unimpressed last time I went to BRU I haven’t been back, maybe I should give it another shot. There are a couple items I wouldn’t mind getting a good deal on.

We're coming into third trimester! How are you feeling? mostly not too bad! My new work shoes seem to be helping the plantar fasciitis, but I definitely noticed a difference offer the weekend when I just wore regular flats. :# may still try to get some good supportive summer sandals here, too.

Rants/Raves/Questions/Dear Diary? all this talk about showers and fear was starting to make me sweat! But what a difference a day / week makes... i still haven't heard anything from DIL about prospective shower dates, but almost all the big things are now spoken for on my registry, like practically overnight! I could cry. Nursery rocker, adorable changing table lamp and CD caddy, pnp, travel system - even the (ridiculously pricey mahogany) high chair (I felt bad even asking for)... all spoken for! Literally the only major thing left is the crib / mattresses. That is just such a huge relief! Now we need to finish getting the rooms swapped around and buy a few pieces of bedroom furniture... it'll all come together, though.
Hyponobirthing starts the end of this month, followed by our first prenatal doula meeting (in our home). It's all getting very real!

GTKY: Any babymoons or other vacations this summer? What about staycations? I had a bit of a staycation last month, and we got some things done around here. But definitely not everything I wanted to! Lol we'll just have to keep chipping away at everything... actually I'm in training for a couple weeks, too, so I will have two glorious Saturdays I never get. I'll have to make sure DH knows that ahead of time and see if we can't make the most of it. ;)

@smsaulino I didn't even think to look for a car seat cause I was so excited about the crib! There were a lot of people there so I just wanted to get my crib & get out. They were all running around like crazy. Sorry about not being able to find one though, I'm hoping someone gets one for us at our baby shower.. (fingers crossed)
@BusinessWife so glad to hear so much is purchase off your registry. I definitely think they are having a shower for you, and it’s sweet thought to do it as a surprise. They just don’t realize surprises are very hard when you are pregnant...especially surprises like that. You could have already started buying those big things not knowing you were having a shower. I hope your H does use the time wisely that you will be in training. Maybe he can get a lot accomplished.
