@lulu1180 please please please ask them to test your AFC and FSH on day 3. (Day 2-4 is ok). This will give you a good indication of what your response to the meds will be. Especially with your low AMH. And please insist on monitoring.
@avrilmai any changes to your protocol for this IUI?

@jrm_14 I might well be following you with the Hysteroscopy and Laparoscopy combo in the next weeks... let’s see. Did they ever notice the septum before or did it just magically appear?

@emmasemm i was on pins and needles reading your post. What size was your follicles that they were still immature? I’m so glad two matured in that medium and am crossing my fingers so hard for great results tomorrow. 8 pounds since Friday?! Sounds like OHSS, ugh I hope you feel better. Im sorry I forget but if your eggs fertilize are you doing a frozen or fresh transfer and what Day embryo?
@beachbunnyxo123 we will freeze all anyhow as we have two more cycles before we think about transfer. They want to freeze on day 3 for the first two cycles. Then we can either defrost, grow on and transfer or biopsy and refreeze at blast. Apparently they have no drop off when thawing blasts that were previously frozen on day 3 compared to those who were never frozen before. Just allows us to keep the “do we PGS” question open longer. Because first of all we need some blasts... which is going to be a tough hill to climb...

@emmasemm Sorry this is happening. I hope that it will resolve very soon so you can go as planned.

@emmasemm , I obviously don't know the exacts of your situation, but I had a dodgy ovary. My left ovary actually fell onto my pelvic floor and was behind my uterus. It never prevented anything. And I am so sorry for the OHSS. I had it too and it effing BLOWS.

@emmasemm I am so sorry that you have hit so many obstacles with this. Really hope that things settle down soon and you are smooth sailing moving forward. Such a nice sentiment from your co-workers.
@KristoKekerooni Will have everything crossed for you on Wednesday!
AFM just got back from the OBGYN. He doesn't feel that the abnormalities found on the ultrasound and MRI are anything to be concerned about, as he doesn't think that they would be contributing factors to our current issues. I am being referred for a CT for further investigation, as well as an HSG, just to cross it off the list. So frustrated about the HSG though. I had requested this from my family doctor back in November and now it could take another 3-4 months until I am able to get an appointment for it. Beyond that, the next steps with him would then be invasive and potentially detrimental to reproduction. So not necessarily our best option. It would likely be better to head straight to the RE. Which we just received a confirmed appointment with them for July 10th.
@nitnat007 I think it’s really good you see the RE so soon. And maybe the RE can give you an HSG sooner. Before anything invasive it’s definitely best to make sure the benefits outweigh the negatives. Ovaries in particular get super pissed if someone goes digging around near them.
@avrilmai that’s a decent amount of HCG for an IUI trigger. And I was the same. Like REALLY? OHSS with my AMH? You have GOT to be kidding.
Update is mixed. Of the two that were mature enough to ICSI on day 1 (one day later than normal) only one fertilized normally. DH was super down last night that after all our efforts only one fertilized. Then today the embryologist called (not planned) so I assumed it was bad news but it was just to say the embryo was perfectly on schedule with dividing today on day 2 and already had six cells. He will call again tomorrow to let us know if it was good enough to freeze in the morning. Keeping everything crossed. Come on little fighter!
I also finally had a follow up call with the RE today. He was very disappointed. I’ve started back on the progesterone and estrogen to both ensure my next CD2 is on a week day and to prime. The priming did seem to work as we had a nice little bunch of similar sized follies and my FSH was 15% lower than normal. He will decide based on CD2 baseline if we will go ahead next cycle, also then what dose of which meds to go with on which days. Plus plan for daily US once we hit a follie with 12mm. He said we might have been just a day too early or might have fried the eggs with a few too many meds. My right ovary however is pretty useless it seems. From the high resolution US they did during my ER he thinks (like I did) that it is partially adhered to my uterus, but not sure with what. And that blood supply is compromised which is why the follicles on that size don’t get above 10mm. As it’s likely years old and thus little chance to restore the function then he won’t touch it unless we have to do something about the polyp. Which for now we will watch and do a full uterine cavity evaluation before a transfer, even if it has resolved itself. So we have a plan. We know we will decide CD2 each time whether to go ahead or not. And in the meantime I will return to being an estrogen zombie for the next 1.5 weeks!

@madspunk hoping your luck turns in these days. Do you have a plan if not?
@rallykat14 those sound like awesome blasts! What’s a number, it’s just a beauty contest. And beauty only runs so deep. Strong and healthy is more important.
@nitnat007 good luck tomorrow!
@kristokekerooni I have everything crossed for you! Well maybe my legs are crossed as I feel like I need to peep all the time from the fluid retention... but everything else is for you ;-)
@jrm_14 I might well be following you with the Hysteroscopy and Laparoscopy combo in the next weeks... let’s see. Did they ever notice the septum before or did it just magically appear?

@50Wife Just not fair. So upset for you! *hugs*
@avrilmai that’s a decent amount of HCG for an IUI trigger. And I was the same. Like REALLY? OHSS with my AMH? You have GOT to be kidding.
@nitnat007 @purplg8r @kristokekerooni @suzycupcake and all those who love titted thanks it means a lot
