We are having another girl! My husband's side of the family usually has all one or the other so we are keeping up the trend. I was kinda hoping for a boy but I am really excited for DD to have a sister close in age!
Maternit21 results just came in, baby is perfectly healthy with very low risk for the risk factors and they confirmed we are having a baby girl Over the moon...
We wanted to find out originally. However, whenever we tell people we are having twins they suddenly have strong opinions about the sexes and what they think would be best. That kind rubbed me wrong so my husband and I decided not to find out so that it’s a surprise for everyone!
Two Furbabies: Mika (american eskimo) and Gypsy (wire-haired terrier, dachshund mix)
Twins: Kaiden and Zara born 10/2018 conceived after 6 years of infertility via a medicated IUI
DH and I have been talking about it for weeks and we finally decided to be team green! I've always wanted to wait to know (my mom did with me and my siblings and always talked about how special it was) but DH was not so sure since he always likes to know all available information. But team green it is now!
We did the Harmony test, and we are having a healthy baby girl. We both kind of wanted a boy (b/c I was raised w/ boys and I figured it'd be an easier transition into parenthood for DH), but we are both delighted to figure out parenting a girl. Currently in discussions between the name we always assumed we would choose (Olivia) and the new name my husband thought of (Alexandria). I'm leaning toward Olivia, but if making the final call on the name makes DH feel more a part of the process, I'm ok with that.

Ps my two yo ran in grabbed a big handful of m&ms and ran out yelling mmmmmmmm goood!! Luckily they were the regulars lol crazy kid!
***Sneak Peek Users- question for ya!*** So let me start by saying I'm a total wimp and never do well with needles, blood, anything medical really (I know, I know pregnancy/delivery is gonna be interesting). Long story short, i started feeling woozy and I didn't fill the little vial all the way to the black line... anyone else a little low on the sample? Did they still send you results? Ugh. I'm hoping I didn't waste money bc I'm a total wimp. Any info appreciated!!
Wow, sorry for the 5x repeat post guys - my fat pregnant fingers pushed the post button way too many times. TheBump really needs a delete button. Sorry!
We got back our NIPT results on Monday and we have a chromosomally healthy baby boy!
I'm a little bummed because I always wanted a sister growing up and wanted that for DD, especially close in age, but I'm also excited to get to experience raising both a boy and a girl.
I can finally share....IT'S A GIRL!
We will now have three little girls I'm so excited, but not looking forward to all the jokes about having all girls. Oh well, we're happy and that's all that matters!
@josie12367 yay! I come from a family of three girls and my sisters and I are super close friends. I’m not saying we haven’t fought a lot over the years, because we have (the clothing wars of adolescence were epic) but it’s always been such a special relationship. And now we all live in close proximity and our kids are close too.
@josie12367 I am the exact opposite with finding out I’m having my third boy. I’m so sick of the are you gonna try for a girl jokes. Or the keep going for a baseball team! Shuuuuut up lol
@josie12367 I have 3 girls and I absolutely loved raising them all together. They bond we all have is amazing! They are much older, so I find out tomorrow if the girl tradition continues or if we are having a boy!
@susan112118 and @eahayes We have ours on June 25th so we wait as well. We didn't find out with DS but have decided to with this one. I just feel like our son can bond better if we can say its a baby brother or sister.
Congratulations to everybody!! I can't wait for our anatomy scan. I went team green with my DD but this peanut may be my last and I'd love to have both views of knowing and not knowing. Congrats to all, again!!
DH and I skipped genetic testing so we’ve still got another month before we find out. Crossing my fingers for a boy, but I know I’ll be excited for a girl too! So excited either way!!
Oh yeah, when I found out the sex of my baby after the CVS FISH test, I didn't remember to come here and say that I'm expecting a girl
I've already picked out a name-- Rowan Leigh. Though my sister thinks it should be spelled Rowyn, but I'm not sure yet. Part of me thinks I shouldn't get attached and name her when I might lose her still (haven't gotten the rest of the results from the CVS and she was diagnosed with cystic hygroma with the doctor warning a poor prognosis was very likely) but I can't help it. It will be what it will be, and I want my little girl to know that I love her no matter what.
