@middleschoolmommy ahhhh gotcha! I would think he meant timing wise. Maybe he's just thinking good lordy we still have 5 months to get some of this stuff.

@firsttimespartanmom I am 17w5d. I have been mentioning to DH that I was impatiently waiting to feel something and it just happened. I felt something, paused and thought "was that it?" and then felt it again! I hope both you and @lurvleybunchococonuts get to feel your LOs soon too!

@tessiesmom26 That’s so exciting!!!! @middleschoolmommy I’m not expecting a sprinkle or anything since we have most everything we need. We purchased all DD’s big items in gender neutral colors so they could be reused. I would agree with others to expect to buy big items yourself and to expect that at a sprinkle you’ll mostly be getting clothes and other small things.
@lurvleybunchococonuts He knows how I am, being a teacher and all, I love to plan and have things ready early. I think the fact that DS came so early really has me wanting to have all my ducks in a row for this one just in case. MH gave me grief about wanting to have the nursery done before 3rd trimester last time, but DS was literally born the morning after we finished putting it together
Hooray @tessiesmom26! I'm so happy for you. @middleschoolmommy I agree with everyone else. I'm not expecting another shower/sprinkle; although my parents will probably buy us one "big" item if we need it. I definitely think you should take advantage of a sale if you find one. I think it's more fair that way than to expect others to spend tons of money on gifts when you could have bought it on sale! I don't have any experience with it, but from what I've heard, people don't usually get you many (or any?) gifts for a second baby, but I could be wrong! How early was your son born? I can't remember.
@offtoneverland He was born at 29wks. I've been getting what I can so far. We gave a LOT of DS's things to a cousin of DH who had her baby and then moved out of state with all the things. She just had baby #2 last week so I'm not expecting anything back. Honestly, after DS, I know how many things we DONT need this time! I'm trying to build an argument on why I should get the infant car seat from BRU before they close for good (or run out)!
I disappeared, sorry ladies. I came down with a very fast moving case of bronchitis. Tickle in my throat one day and 2 days later I was coughing up a lung. Was never sick when I was pregnant with DS so this was a whole new ball game. I'm finally on the mend, but with my history of bronchitis will not be 100% for another month or so. Thankfully DS is easily entertained by Moana and the dog. Trying to catch up on what's been happening with you all.

@phoenix870509 hope you are feeling better! Being sick while pregnant is the worst. Having to care for a small child on top of that doesn't help at all.

DS asked to and actually peed in the TOILET tonight!!! He's been using the little potty since March, and while I know we're so lucky potty training has been pretty easy with him I'd love not to have to clean out the little potty anymore!

@wildrainbow Mashed potatoes! I could eat them every day of this pregnancy and not get sick of them. I've never put bacon in mashed potatoes. Sounds so good! @mockingjay1 Hooray for potty training progress! Has there been any progress on the #2 side of things? I remember a while ago he was holding it in too long. Hopefully that's gotten better. I don't like having to clean out the little potty, but we'll probably be doing it for a while longer because of the way our house is set up. DD's room is next to the bathroom, but the bathroom is right at the top of the stairs and there's only drywall, so it's not possible for us to put a gate up. I'm terrified of her falling down the stairs in the middle of the night if she's in a sleepy daze, so we'll probably have a potty in her room for long time. @phoenix870509 Glad to hear you're on the mend, but I'm so sorry you got so sick. Hopefully it doesn't take you forever to recover 100%.
@wildrainbow - I think waiting until almost 3.5 helped a lot. He didn't seem ready before that. @offtoneverland - You have a good memory! Yes #2 is so much better. I don't know when the last time we had to give him a suppository was. He doesn't hold it anymore. Hopefully he'll poop on the toilet too! Ugh that stinks, but I'd rather clean a little potty than worry about a toddler falling down the stairs!

Y'all, my sweet, darling speech delayed boy just told me he loved me for the first time. I grinned like a fool walking through Wal-Mart listening to him on the phone. He has come so far in just 6 months, from no words to full sentences. My heart is so full. #oncloudnine
@middleschoolmommy I’m late to the conversation, but we basically got 0 presents for number 2 (not that I was expecting anything), other than maybe a couple of outfits from our parents. I’m going in not expecting anyone else to buy us anything this time, either.
Does anyone have any suggestions for good maternity bras? I'm normally a small chested gal so since getting pregnant, staying comfy is becoming pretty difficult. I've tried no wire bras but they seem to lack shape and full support. Honestly sports bras are most comfortable right now but dont work for every top. Lol.
@wildrainbow That is so great! I literally "AWed" out loud!

@melicee14 Soma. They have the best bras. I'm very large chested and their bras are super comfy. So, I can bet that you will find something to work and be comfy.
Was at Goodwill this morning and got a practically brand new halo sleepsack swaddle for $2.00!!!

@melicee14 Bravado is the best. A bit pricey at $50 but try the body silk nursing bra and it’s great for breastfeeding/after baby too! Bravadodesigns.com
Thinning out DS's toys in the new "playroom" turned into me rearranging the whole room, furniture and all. I'm dead. His actual room will have to wait until tomorrow. DS is spending the night with grandparents and that way DH will have to help..
For those of you who ordered Jujube bags during the sale, I just got an email notification today saying the order now has a tracking number and is on its way. Hooray! Hopefully we all get our bags soon!
Hey ladies sorry I have been MIA this week! *TW* had some spotting for 3 days and had a bunch of extra appointments this week to make sure babe and I are both okay. We are! Was such a relief to get the 100% all clear. Even though I knew throughout that everything was probably okay it was still stressful to keep having to take extra steps to get the official all clear. Doctor figures I got a small tear on my vaginal wall during sexy time with DH last weekend re: the cause of the spotting. So now doctor ordered 2 weeks of no sexy time or orgasms of any kind to make sure I am healed up
@offtoneverland Thanks! I am glad it all turned out okay. Hopefully no more spotting in future. Am excited to have our full anatomy scan next week though and find out what the little one is

@lurvleybunchococonuts Here you go! I got the Better Be (cross-body/shoulder style). One pic of the outside and one of the inside because I love the pretty gold fabric. The website says the light-colored fabric will help you find things better without having to dig through the bag, so I'm hoping it actually works!
