I'm FREAKING OUT! I had surgery to have my wisdom tooth removed last week and was prescribed a high dosage of Ibuprofen and Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen which I took because the pain was so bad. I was TTC the week before during my ovulation period. Should I be concerned that if I were pregnant, the baby's health could be compromised? Anyone else ever experience a similar situation while TTC? Just read up on it and I'm worried...
Re: Painkillers while TTC
OP, if you are super concerned, maybe place a call to your doctor in the morning. We really cannot help you with this.

Be sure to talk to your doctor, and let them know you are TTC. Most doctors will change prescriptions if they know that you are trying. But, we are not doctors, so we can't tell you whether you are okay or not.
Back in the day when I thought TTC was going to happen in the blink of an eye, I freaked out when I had a rash and I didn't know if I could take Benadryl. Obviously, you need to talk to a medical professional any time you are concerned about medication while TTC. In general, regular Tylenol is not an NSAID, so it is usually considered to be safe. (This is what my doctor said I could take while doing my IVF treatments.)
In this case, you've already taken the medication, so there's not really anything to do, aside from share your concerns with your doctor. But for anyone else TTC, try to be proactive and share your concerns with your medical team ahead of time. If that's not possible, see if your insurance has a 24/7 help nurse call line available.
