@Hopeful_mom Oh my goodness. Single digit week count down! Love it. We only got a mini tour of the hospital during the child birth class. Our official tour was snowed out. Womp womp. I over packed for the hospital. Next time, I'm going to bring my phone, charger and the clothes on my back! Oh yeah, toothbrush and hair brush.

BF is going well. I was really worried that I wasn't making enough. However, he has been gaining weight like a champ. I went to a lactation counselor today who weighed him before and after I fed him. He took in 2 oz on one breast. I still have some soreness and deal with clogged milk ducts every now and then. Definitely not an over producer. No stockpile in the freezer. The two occasions I managed to freeze a couple of ounces I had to defrost a couple days later because he was cluster feeding.

In other news I pulled my back just bending getting something out of the fridge I can't even tell u the pain I'm in and can barely move. Anyone have any remedies for relief??

@Hopeful_mom Do I need to put you on bed rest myself? Lol ... You can’t even get something out of the fridge. Have you had any Braxton Hicks? And I hope your hospital bag is packed missy.

@Holls214 hey you... how are you and the babe?

@SP128 @KZ1126 how are the veteran moms of the group doing? Your munchkins should be doing tummy time by now lol. Are you doing any sleep training?

AFM.... “ I can see clearly now, the nauseas gone.” The nausea eased up, but the headaches started (boooo). I get to see the babes next week at 14 weeks(yaaaay)... And I get to find out the sexes from my bw in a few weeks (um no one told me about that) should I find out or not, decisions decisions! DH definitely wants to know! And my babes favorite food right now is rice. I really don’t want gestational diabetes but how can I deny them their favorite?! They love rice with cole slaw and rice with avocados, yum!

What were some of your cravings ladies?

@mrsa2017 yay for nausea letting up already with twins that's awesome!!!! Glad you're finding things u can eat! I can't say I really had cravings. It was more what smell didn't make me sick and what food I could get down in the first trimester which was mostly pizza and fruit. I enjoyed some buffalo wings as well! My indigestion and heartburn is always bad regardless of what I eat! How's the bump coming along? Are you going to find out? Because there is 2 I believe if it shows a boy then u will still have to wait for an anatomy scan to tell the sex of the other...if it says girl then I believe boTh would be girls. Are you feeling one way or another?

im finally feeling a bit better in terms of my back, I need to be wrapped up in bubble wrap for sure!! Definitely feeling tired and sluggish as I will be approaching the 9 month next week! I'm so not prepared at all! Need to start working on the bag! I have had some discomfort for sure! Some describ their BH and I think maybe I have some BUT I when I describe what I was feeling to my OB he didn't seem to think so...so I'll stick with his opinion and still freak out over it all ha ha!! Baby still has room to move so that still makes me feel good! Talk about dancing or playing kick ball! I swear I would think they could invite friends over with what I feel at times

@mrsa2017 Hi mama x2!!!! We are doing tummy time. We have not done any sleep training yet. I can't believe you are coming up on 14 weeks already. Woo hoo. I didn't find out the sex of the baby and loved it. To me it was just Embaby (nickname still sticks). Don't worry about what you are eating, from what I know what you eat does not cause or prevent gestational diabetes. I didn't have any cravings really. My appetite actually took a nose dive while I was pregnant.

@Hopeful_mom You are so close!!!! I didn't have any BH. Get that bag packed and ready to go lady. Do you have your car seat and have it installed yet? That was one of the first things we did because it was the one thing we really needed.

@Hopeful_mom He loves to eat. I was extremely nervous about not making enough milk in the beginning. I make juuuust enough. It's definitely been stressful since I want to have enough in the freezer for when I go back to work. I have some frozen. I'm just not an over producer. He eats, spits up a lot and then is hungry again very shortly after. I just have a hard time keeping up with that schedule. This was yesterday and DH gave him expressed bottles when I was having oral surgery done. Just remember that milk supply isn't fully established until 6 weeks. That was the best thing I heard when I took him for one of his pediatrician visits. I don't know what your plans are on nursing or formula feeding but don't let the nurses or lactation consultants make you feel bad on whatever you choose is right for you and bean.

Embaby is doing much better at sleeping at night. Some longer stretches. The first couple of weeks were brutal, not gonna lie. Sometimes he is super fussy because he fights sleep. He had a couple of days where he only napped for like an hour and a the entire day.

I am so so so sooooo excited for you!!

@Hopeful_mom you are in the homestretch!!! my only advice is to have your house clean and organized ahead of delivery because otherwise you go crazy when you come home! I got most of it done, but all i see when i sit with the baby are all the places i missed hehe
@mrsa2017 get ready for the second trimester bliss!!! loved that people could see my belly and i just ate whatever i wanted

we just hit our 10 week mark, baby is ridiculously strong, I can't keep her swaddled. she's chunky and eats all day but smiles all the time! my main milk issue is the leakage!!! I have huge boobs as is, so I wake up with a soaked shirt, like I could wring it out. make sure to stock up on breast pads!!

Thanks for the advice @sp128 @KZ1126 I'm really hoping my boobs will follow your leafs and make milk!! Happy early Mother's Day can you believe your babes r here!! I still find myself in disbelief but so happy to be in the home stretch. I get in my head is baby moving enough and then I feel the baby telling me I'm fine mama! I hate that I still worry about every single thing!!

@Hopeful_mom I am in disbelief all the time ! I get teary eyed thinking about it. I worried until I heard him cry I wasn’t excited to get induced or go into labor. My dh was asking me. Pgal brain was still very real to me until I heard they first scream. When is your actual due date ?

@hopeful_mom your eating patterns sound like mines lol... I make sure eat a fruit everyday even with all the rice intake. I need help drinking water tho. It kills me knowing I’m not drinking enough but can’t really stomach the taste. I’m beyond excited for second trimester. Yesterday at my appt the babies were measuring 2 days ahead. I had a dream a few weeks ago about the sex being two girls but now I really don’t know after seeing the scans. I asked about BH yesterday and what it would feel like to be more prepared. Get to nesting lady lol ... cleaning and packing! I can’t wait for the kicks!!!!

@sp128 yay for tummy time! I’m officially second trimester! (Twerk twerk)... I’m guessing not everyone gets cravings. It’s like if we see it, we want it, have to have it.... the way of the pregnant world. DH is so ready to know. He is in charge of boy names and I’m doing girls. Since we decided not to do the pregnancy announcement, I’m wondering if to do a gender reveal at our house and record it for family and close friends who knows.. any suggestions?

Sooo I wanted to ask if this is normal. I am beyond happy about these two growing inside me, so I get a little worried because I don’t have the urge to buy anything for them. One or two persons told me not to buy anything yet, which I wasn’t going to because we have to move and still haven’t found a place yet, but it’s like I don’t have the itch to buy anything not even a stuffed animal. The stuffed animal is something I would buy just as a first thing mommy bought for them. Could it be that I’m not interested yet because we don’t know the sex or is it just too early to feel the buying urge?

the US pics hi babes!! Isn't it surreal? I still remember u first gathering up info getting everything ready to be prepared for IVF and here u r with 2 Lil nuggets! So thrilled for you!! Don't worry about not purchasing anything, look how close I am and I still haven't bought anything. Yes it's my culture and tragedy of what happened previously BUT still normal nonetheless. It's recently that I was really looking at some baby clothing wanting it

@SP128 I'm due 6/6 but really hoping baby comes end of May especially since I'm measuring about a week ahead on all my scans.

AFM: things are looking good, dr did cervix check which did not tickle at all!!! But so far the shop is closed. He said I'm softening and the lining is thinning so I guess my body is doing what it needs. Of course my vag is irritated which is annoying and not welcomed! Most important babe is great and about 5lb 12oz.

@hopeful_mom wow that seems like a whole lifetime ago! I remember joining TB this same month last year. What a difference a whole year can make. I look at my scans and just smile, knowing apart of me is growing in there. They have long legs like my dad. Your due date is actually his birthday. I know he would've been so happy for these two but he'll be their guardian angel, I'm sure.
Wooooooah 5lbs already?! What are you eating? Pizza for breakfast lunch and dinner? hahaha And you have atleast 4 more weeks to go... You're looking at maybe a 7/8 lber

Look at you and those ultrasound pictures! So so exciting. They do have long legs.

Things are progressing here. Only 4-5 weeks left. Sleeping sucks now so sleep when you can lol. Had a check up today. Baby is head down, doctor could feel his head and dilated to 2cm with 75% effaced. Could be any day or weeks from now. Who knows but I did pack hospital stuff the other day to make sure.

According to my app the baby is suppose to be 6lb 3oz so we shall see. My Lil one has usually been a Lil ahead of the game and I'd like it to stay that way the closer to the end I get!!
Those lil babies certainly do have long legs it's very exciting!! Just think when they start beating u up in there

Technically I now have 3wks to go but I'd be fine with 2.

Officially 37 weeks woohoo, had my stress test today and baby thank goodness is doing good! Had my cervix check and seems baby is sitting nice and cozy! Which is good I go back next week for the same routine and then discuss my birth plan with my OB. Crazy to think this baby is gonna be here soon I think I'm still in denial!!

@Hopeful_mom you don’t need much for the hospital really ! I have a silicone manual pump that I use to catch drips which I love. I also have hot/cold breast pads that I have used a lot. More for the hot, ive had a lot of clogged ducts.

Which pump did you order ?

First off, Happy Mother’s Day my friends! I hope you all had a MOM-tastic day and that you were pampered like you were supposed to. Everyday is mother’s day for us but I guess that one day is really designed to give our partners the “punch” they need so they won’t forget who’s the superwoman around here lol and to celebrate us!

@Holls214 hello love... You should be in the discomfort stage right now lol... Nursery all done I hope since bag is packed. I wish I could say I was sleeping well at night, but hey day time naps work wonders for my beauty rest instead lol.... Excited yet, or nervous?

LOL @ your shirt.. the definition of ready to pop. I want to know how that breast pump works. It is the first choice on my registry. I remember you did PGS, and transferred a girl right? Or we went green? (Pregnancy brain has officially kicked in)

@SP128 @KZ1126 the momma vets of our group... How are you and my little internet niece and nephew? Are we still in the mommy bubble or already headed back out into the big bad world? LOL

AFM and the twins.... We are 16 weeks today and I think I felt “the flutters”.... talk about exciting! I’ve been so busy with appointments and up next is a visit to the perinatologist.. yay?! So here’s what ticked me off.. I did an extensive blood work panel inclusive of the chromosomes test which includes the sex. However, the test could only tell us the gender of ONE baby. Here I am thinking it was an oversight when really they can only detect one gender because they are fraternal twins in separate sacs. I was so disappointed and got turned off from doing a gender reveal. Hubby knows the sex of the one we got but I don’t. So now we both have to wait for the anatomy scan in a few weeks. That serves him right for bribing my cousin to tell him what the sex is lol. Other than mild constipation and uncomfortable sleeping I’m just enjoying my baby bump and watching my husband dote over my belly lol

@mrsa2017 do u not want to kno the sex of the baby? With twins it's tougher as it's just goes by the blood. Basically if it says girl then I've got 2 princesses IF it says boy then that's the pickle where u have to wait to see if it's one or two. Let the fun continue!!

i will say @holls214 seems to be having much more action then me I have a feeling her LO will be coming first, I guess time will tell but I believe she's a bit dialated already I'm waiting to see what her update is today as mine is closed!! Babe is having a jolly ol time in here!!

@Hopeful_mom I want to know for both at the same time so 4 more weeks. DH is being really tight lipped so I really don’t know if the sex of the first one is blue or pink so let the waiting continue lol. These babies are so unpredictable. You could be not dilated that morning and later that night Boom there is a head lol

@hopeful_mom ya never know!!! it can take 5 weeks or 5 minutes to go from 1-10 on the dilation scale. Mine was at 1 ten days before the due date and an hour later the head was showing and ready to come out!! enjoy the last few weeks or days of having that little special baby all to yourself!

@mrsa2017 I'm so happy that you're now feeling the babes! soak up that 2nd tri, I can honestly say I sort of miss that part. Also, get comfy with that constipation teehee, things don't just get automatically better post partum

but at least you'll have wine....
My munchkin goes to daycare tues and thurs and it KILLS me dropping her off!! she's 12 weeks today, and watches me leave. I'm going to be a mess when full time day care opens up in September. Make sure the hubs rubs those feet for ya!

@KZ1126 this is why I am taking off 6 months because I know separation anxiety is going to cripple me. 3 months already?! She’ll be standing up soon lol. Uuuggghhh these iron pills come to destroy my butt! And I have to take them religiously since I almost fainted at my last drs appointment and was told my iron was too low... Babies are moving though so at least I get those moments to look forward too.

Made my 39 weeks woohoo!! This kid thinks I'm an elephant and I'm suppose to be pregnant for a year. I'm in the hospital and it's time to get induced!! So it's sort of go time right!
Just had the meds put in and holy bageez, it's no joke!! My cervix is still closed for business so we shall see what the morning brings....

Mr Bryson took about 6.5 hours of active labor. We induced at 10pm and by 12:30am I was a 10. I went from a 6 to a 10 in 45 minutes. Got the epidural just in time for when I was a 10. We pushed an hour. Took a break to have him turn then pushed 2.5 more hours. He was born at 4:35am. He weighs 6 lb 9 oz at 37 weeks. He was 19.5 inches long.

Hello my loves !!!

Cant believe it's time for my update!

Ive been a thinking of you all and since my last update the labor hit hard and that was it. At this point I literally am seeing double. You know when you have to wink so things look clear.

The moment finally arrived many unexpected hours of labor! My beautiful baby GIRL Shayla Adriana FINALLY arrived on June 1!! I induced Wednesday night May 30 and had a much longer labor then anticipated or wanted! I thought I was having a May baby but she obviously wanted June

. We're still in the hospital so trying to stay positive and hope to be home soon!! Definitely the most exciting and scary thing I've ever been through! Such a miracle! I'm so excited for mrsa2017 to get to this stage too!!

Not sure what everyone really wants to know so I'll put my update in the spoiler as it wasn't all smooth sailing!!

I was induced and contractions kicked in 4hrs into it. Nurses wanted me to wait for the epidural not sure why...some say because it would stop working during deliver...don't know, but wrong decision. My best advice ur hurting get drugs. I was in so much pain that trying to sit still when u need to for the epidural becomes much tougher!! So first was done with getting my epidural 7hrs into it and things were much better. I couldn't believe how much easier drugs made it. It hurt! FF to my cervix still being closed and needing more to get dilated. Finally get some action and and move on to pitocine to really get the party started...talk about painful especially as my epidural runs out and there isn't an anesthesiologist to refill me due to an emergency in the OR. Let's just say 4hrs of excruciating pain continues where I'm yelling to cut the baby out of me....which is horrible but that's the pain I'm in. So my point to all is don't be a hero and get the drugs!! I still progressed slow and needed a refresher on the drugs as the pain was returning and if it continued I would have no energy to push. After all this baby turns sunnny side up and that means I need a csection. This is 28hours into labor so dr try's to get her back into position. Remember they had the emergency in the OR for hrs which my dr was involved in so at this point I'm freaked out about surgery too! So dr magically gets the baby bac into position and I first finishing dilating Friday morning.
I pushed and pushed and actually ended up with a vaginal deliver! Can't believe I did it especially with my Lil darling being 8lb 4oz what a pkg right

. Delivery was not easy and my dr let's just say had to manually remove my placenta which was not cute and probably had him working on me for another 2hrs after I delivered.

it hasn't been smooth sailing, trying to BF and it has its challenges and here the baby is with u 24/7... but when ur baby is jaundice and needs to be in an incubator and it's screaming the whole time, that does not help the healing process. And still dealing.

As u can see this is why I needed a minute to update u all!! Is this the most magical wonderful Miracle YES!!! And I thought 2x about sharing the mess but everyone here has pretty much experienced there journey BUT I kno mrsA likes all her info

My meds running out was a human error which caused me hours of unnecessary torture. And trust me I felt terrible for whoever had the emergency taking up all the extra ppl BUT then have others on call?? I don't kno!

We're not home yet but really hoping to be soon!!

baby dust and luck to anyone going through stims, retrievals or transfers this month! We did the stims, had our retrieval on friday,. and I go tomorrow for transfer. Im excited but super nervous also! Its our first transfer after several failed IUIs. Any pointers for a newbie from the veterans?

@Hopeful_mom she’s here, she’s here, she’s finally here! Omg 8lbs ... woah baby! Congratulations on the moment that you endured so much to get too. I know you are over the moon. It’s okay to pinch yourself once in awhile so you don’t forget that it is real lol....

Druuuuuuuuuugs! Give me the drugs! No way I plan to push two babies out this cooch. If I can, I will opt for a Csection since I know sort of what that entails and the healing that comes with it. I never told y’all the sex of the babies but we’re having two boys! I’m ready for my two little men. Today makes us 20 weeks, we’re half way there!!!

@mrsa2017 ahhhhh two little men. How exciting !! Baby is good. He is 13 weeks already. Hooray for being half way there. Prob more since you might go early !
