  • So sick. So tired. So cranky. 8 weeks today.

5 weeks tomorrow. A bit of nausea started mid-morning yesterday and cropped up again today.
Still really bloated and a ton of boob pain. Mostly just tired.
    BabyFruit Ticker
  • @deutschmama I was having that occasionally in week 5. (Like 10 seconds max at a time, a couple times a day, usually when reaching for something or getting up suddenly.) I also read that it could be round ligament pain. Is yours pretty constant or off-an-on? If constant, I'd go get it checked out just to be safe!

I'm 6 weeks 1 day now and just feeling very fatigued and very bloated. I already bought a bellaband that has saved the use of my jeans! My work pants surprisingly fit today, but I think I had about 120 oz of water yesterday since I was SO thirsty, so that might have helped.  :D Other than that, I've had nipple sensitivity and the nipples (not the areolas) seems huge! And my breasts are a bit fuller. Just waiting for breast soreness or nausea to kick in.

  • I just started week 6, lots of bloating and fatigue, some on and off boob soreness, but no nausea yet.  I’m a little worried about the lack of morning sickness but then again it’s also nice to not be nauseous.

Is increased skin sensitivity a pregnancy symptom by any chance?  I have sensitive skin to begin with but lately my already super gentle skin care routine has been irritating my skin.  Also the other day I took off a band aid and it actually ripped off part of my skin with it, which has never happened to me before.
  • Just exhausted, no energy, and cold. Small waves of nausea. Boobs are killing me. I get worried about the lack of symptoms because as I mentioned in other threads, my pregnancy with my daughter started this way but became a horror show from 2nd tri all way to the delivery.

  • Anyone else having terrible evening nausea? For some reason every day at 8 pm, like clockwork, I have the WORST nausea and aversions. It's no picnic the rest of the day but at least I can eat and it's manageable, but not at night, which sucks because it's when I normally have dinner and when I spend time with my daughter. Anyway, bleh. Annoying.
  • @maureenmce yes, it’s so bad at night. As soon as my kids are in bed, I’ve just been laying down too because I can’t atand to do anything else.
    Pass the sheet cake.

  • @omnommer it was constant yesterday- on and off today. Luckily I have an appt. tomorrow so I can talk to my doc.
Oh man I am so bloated already too!! I don't like that I already look like I have a bump and baby's only the size of a peppercorn  :|
  • Sore boobs from the beginning with occasional mild cramping or backaches. Pushing through the fatigue and then the end of week 6 hit... My stomach constantly feels empty/like a gnawing sensation. Eating slowly helps a little and then it just comes right back. Food is losing its appeal even though I am ravenous at times. Luckily no vomiting because I dont want to tell my coworkers yet. Its hard working in a hospital where birth and babies are our 24/7. So far only one person has called me out for leaving the room during xrays haha just praying the nausea stays at bay! Grazing on snacks seems to help the most.
  • @maureenmce YES! Putting my son to bed has been so hard! I lay down with him and try not to vomit, lol

  • Ugh, sorry you guys are feeling it so badly at night too @runrinserepeat and @texas_t ! And my daughter will NOT be tucked in by my husband, and getting her to bed is like an hour long process of several outfit changes, a million goodnight songs and stories, and I am just trying to hold back puke the entire time.

Speaking of which, that is also what I'm doing at work right now - trying to keep from vomiting. 8 weeks 1 day the nausea is AWFUL and literally no food or drink sounds tolerable. I cannot wait until end of the first tri!
  • I'm not sure if it's because I'm chasing a 3yr old and an almost 2yr old around but so far I seem so much more tired this go round than before. Like clock work, morning sickness started at 8 weeks. Has mostly been in the morning with a little nausea throughout the day. A friend is giving me her leftover seabands to see if that helps at all.

  • I wish I knew how far along I am...that way I have a better countdown to second tri!! Nausea hit today so hard for some reason. I was fine this morning, felt good, got a lot done before work, and then out of nowhere I thought I was gonna throw up. Luckily nothing, but lord knows the chicken I brought for lunch would put me over the edge. So I'm going somewhere for some French fries, salty sounds amazing to me right now and soothing to the stomach. It's definitely going to cause a high blood glucose reading, but I'd rather have one high reading over throwing up.

  • My back is aching like crazy. Never experienced it being on-going like this with DD. Hopefully it'll subside soon. :( Tylenol only helps so much.

  • @deutschmama Let me know what the doc says! Mine has been on and off (like not enough for me to worry about...I think. Ha.) I've also been super bloated. I have been measuring myself the last year with some muscle gain and exercise goals... and already at week 6 my belly (not my waist) is 2.5 inches larger than it was before pregnancy. WHY am I so bloated?! Haha.

I can’t imagine having to deal with a stomach bug ripping through a brood of children. Take care of yourself if you can.

  • Never felt so awful in my life.

Nauseous all day and all night long. Eating doesn’t help either. My stomach is always unsettled and churning. If I don’t eat I feel sick and dizzy, if I do eat I feel bloated and crampy and miserable. Yet the upset stomach feeling remains. I got a prescription for declectin which sometimes takes the edge off, but doesn’t help much.

    Exhasuted too. This is rough.

  • Tired. So tired. Nausea which doc won't give me a prn zofran script in 1st trimester. So she advised b6 and unisom. And not to be rude crude and unattractive but its like my IBS has kicked into overdrive and i have days with really loose frequent stools and other days I'm so constipated I'm in pain.
  • I thought that until 6.5 weeks hit. Now my stomach churns if im hungry and hurts if i do eat
  • k_m10k_m10 member
@maureenmce I had a few days where it hit at about 10 AM, but then tonight it hit at about 9 PM (and I’d been feeling pretty good for the past 2 days). I had some saltines and preggie drops which helped.

Yep! Well, mine just seems to get progressively worse as the day goes on. By 7/8 pm, I am down for the count and my kids are taking over the house.

  • Day #4 of brown spotting... It started with a wipe on day 1 and now it's every time I use the toilet. I talked to a nurse yesterday from ob/gyn and basically told me it's normal but just look out for heavy cramping and filling a pad or more in an hour. I didn't have this with my first so I am not at ease and worried all the time. I have some cramping and weird pains here and there I can't quite describe other than I think it's similar to round ligament pains but can it be at this early stage?? I'm 5w 4d. Has anyone had these symptoms??

If it feels like RLP, it's possible it is! Since this is your second, your body knows what it's doing and may start changing sooner than it did last time. I'm sorry you're so worried, I hope the spotting stops soon!

  • @santoskassy21 - I am 5w1d and have been having on and off spotting when I wipe for 2 weeks.  My doc said it's totally normal.  It freaks me out but  I had an ultrasound yesterday, and everything looks good.

  • @santoskassy21 I’ve had brown spotting and some cramping too. Had an us around 5 weeks and everything looked good, and another one today. Still spotting so hopefully everything is ok. Try not to worry too much! (Easier said than done.)

  • Ladies...the bloating is no joke. My pants are so tight on my stomach and I know its all bloating. Everything I eat I feel my stomach blow up likr a balloon!!! Sucks.  Sorry to ask..but anyone experiencing white milky discharge every day almost. I am getting a bit nervous. Wish you all the best and hopefully we can all move past the 1st trimester without problems.
  • @luferx2 I am with you on the bloating! I feel like it's SO obvious that I'm bigger than I was. (I measure myself for workout stuff rather than stepping on the scale all the time... so I know I'm already 2.5 inches larger around my belly button than I was before.) I already got a belly band for my jeans because it makes it more comfortable and I know that I'll truly need it at some point. I found one pair of larger work pants in my closet that are okay right now. Hopefully both of our bloat will go down in the next few weeks!

I've read that some pregnant women do have a lot of discharge, so it's likely ok. But if you're super worried, it's always good to call the doctor.
