Alright! Let's hear it!!!! Also, stop admitting to eating delicious food and drinking coffee... We "all" do it so let's get more creative this week! Bonus points if you actually get flamed
I'll start... Sort of lame but not food related. I'm just not going to come back to the office after lunch today. I'm also not taking vacation time for it
Our LO is extremely active in utero. My confession is that the other day I took unisom for an entirely new reason: I wanted to get the little guy to fall asleep so I could.
@nlc8424 haha and this is usually never my style (I'm a rule follower) but I used vacation time last week for something that apparently I could have used work hours for and changing it is a huge hassle so this is my solution. Plus I have a friend flying in for the weekend

I feel like this reasoning makes it not even confession-worthy!! LOL
We work a good amount of overtime during month/quarter/year-ends so generally if you bail a little early it's understood that your time will just even out eventually. At least this is how my boss runs things - other directors here are sticklers for the 8 hours minimum even if you worked 12 hour days the week before.

My cousin and his wife just bought a house. They’ve been living with my aunt since they moved in together and never had to any pay bills, or learn how to manage their money. They can’t cook, clean or care for their baby without her help. I’m secretly excited to see this whole go horribly wrong because I’m a terrible person.
We're late for school almost every day partially cause I'm slow and tired and my kid doesn't cooperate but also cause I spend too much time checking social media/the bump in the morning.
On Wednesday I "worked from home" a full day, but actually went to the dog park for about an hour and a half, then took a long lunch and walked around the mall for a while, and then when I got online I shopped online (apparently to make up for the fact I didn't get anything at the mall). Everyone seems to be on vacation this week, so stuff is slow.
I'm totally pre-judging my new group of participants in my weight management class based on their first weigh in. I am guessing one person will for sure drop out in a few weeks because she's not committed to making changes and won't actually lose weight.
@nlc8424 I hate when someone loses weight and everyone is like "How did you do it?!" . A better question is "What method did you use to burn more calories than you consumed?". Because that's the only way to lose weight other than liposuction. Even weight-loss surgeries are about consuming fewer (and absorbing fewer) calories. But the people asking "How did you do it?!" always expect there to be some kind of new answer to the question, which will be a method where the person loses weight without actual making any changes in their life.
@MandyMost yes! People always want the short and easy method and truthfully there isn't one. It takes work, planning, paying attention to what you're eating, and you probably will even be hungry but can't eat a lot/what you want at times. Not a magic pill or wand.
Here's another one: despite the fact that old wives tales mean squat, I'm irrationally concerned at my lack of heart burn/acid reflux that this kiddo won't have any hair. This is only because I had such terrible heart burn with my son who has always had a full head of hair. Pathetic.
Fffc: I’m going to spend too much money at the Container Store in an effort to feel more in control of the new household by physically taking control of a small area of chaos. “Entire basement still full of random shit you don’t know how to sort and purge and deal with? No problem! Look at this one tiny kitchen cabinet that is categorized to the centimeter!”
I need to be working on reports for an upcoming planning meeting at work. Instead, I've spent the entire morning online shopping. So far, I've bought two Solly Baby wraps, two maternity swimsuits for an upcoming vacation and some shorts and work pants.

My sister is coming to town for less than 24 hours with her kids. I am cleaning for her arrival, but not going overboard and told my husband to hold me to that. I am waiting for her comments regarding the state of my kitchen cupboards, nooks and crannies, etc. I am currently deciding how snarky I want my comments to be.

I'd be inclined to just hand her cleaning supplies and walk away.

Haha. I had terrible heartburn at points 3rd tri and my kid still barely has any hair at 19 months!!

I have started telling DD that I can't hunt for random things under her bed because my belly is too awkward.
It isn't. I could totally lay on the floor and reach stuff. I just don't feel like pulling things out from under there when she knows she isn't supposed to throw things under there.
I have the most embarrassing confession ever, but figured I’d share so you could all enjoy a laugh. I was annoyed all morning because something in my apartment smelled like feet, or like, old sneakers. I was internally mad at DH thinking it was his shoes. Got to work (I’m the only one in my office) and I still smell it. It’s me, you guys. It’s me. It’s my shoes. They’re sneaker-ish flats and I had been wearing them without little socks and they smell. I’m so ashamed lol. I don’t understand when my feet started to smell - is this hormonal? Lol BUT I’m glad I found the source I guess. Gonna go home and switch shoes soon.
FFFC: I have naturally greasy nasty hair with the worst dandruff of anyone I've ever seen. It's taken years to find a solution, and now that I have, when my hormones are mostly stable (hooray second trimester!) I "wash" my hair once a week with only minor dandruff. It's never gone for me, so I'll take it.

Related to the original confession by Erin, I'm currently waiting to leave doing nothing but bumping because I know if I leave my coworker will leave too, and she never works 40 hours. She left early yesterday and I'm guessing didn't use any time, and I know I'll be frustrated if she left early again today. TGIF.
@nlc8424 I didn't have any heartburn with my first born DS and he had the thickest head full of hair and it was so long! Everyone told me he would be bald cause I didn't have heartburn. He almost needed a headband to keep it out of his face
I just chugged grape koolaid like it was booze and I needed a damn drink! I'm having the worst hormonal funk or something and can't not deal with my toddler's totally normal kinda tired, kinda squirrelly behavior. He's not being so bad that I should be so frustrated. I can logically look at his behavior at see that the problem is clearly ME and not him. But I. Can't. Stop. I got him down for his name and pregnor raged to the fridge and chugged koolaid like I was trying to destroy it. Now I'm moving on to the snack portion of attempting to kill my bad attitude with sugar, empty carbs, salt and melted cheese. So I guess my confession is apparently pregnancy hormones turn me into a teenage stoner raging b*tch.
Eta: I also hate my husband and want to punch him in the face. What did he do? Nothing. Nothing at all. He's at work a thousand+ miles away and we haven't even talked today. I'm just completely insane right now and I don't know what my problem is. The snacks seem to be helping though.
@stothi That sounds like a rough batch of hormones! I completely empathize. I'm happy today, but earlier this week I was a mess too. And, I don't even have a toddler. All I can suggest is to eat whatever you want and binge watch something on Netflix while your little one is down. I just finished the new Lost in Space and it completely distracted me from all the feelings by giving me other feelings about fictional characters. Feel better!
@BostonBaby1 when my husband gets back I'm very seriously considering getting a hotel room for like a 3 day weekend and having my husband bring my son to come visit like from lunch until bedtime and then having them leave. I love my husband and I love my child, but I want to SLEEP! Sleep, eat, maybe swim if the pool is warm enough, eat again and sleep. That's what I want. That's all I want.
@Patience7150 it IS hard on me to bathe my toddler. My back is shite, stupid scoliosis And once my husband gets home it's definitely his job for the rest of the pregnancy if not forever. And I don't feel bad because he too did not bathe our child until 6+ months and has not once trimmed kiddo's finger nails.
@knitknitread fantastic idea. I’m hoping she is going to be here for such a short amount of time that she won’t have enough time to be incredibly critical. That might be a ridiculous hope, but trying to be positive.

*eta- I have only napped once this pregnancy despite feeling like I want to almost every day.
To be fair, he didn't give her a bath until 6+ months and hasn't once cut her finger nails.
