Alright! Let's hear it!!!! Also, stop admitting to eating delicious food and drinking coffee... We "all" do it so let's get more creative this week! Bonus points if you actually get flamed  ;)

  • @EErin86 I totally hate when my coworker does this, but I never say anything because she let's me do the same exact thing when I want/need to.
  • @nlc8424 haha and this is usually never my style (I'm a rule follower) but I used vacation time last week for something that apparently I could have used work hours for and changing it is a huge hassle so this is my solution. Plus I have a friend flying in for the weekend  :)

I feel like this reasoning makes it not even confession-worthy!! LOL

We work a good amount of overtime during month/quarter/year-ends so generally if you bail a little early it's understood that your time will just even out eventually. At least this is how my boss runs things - other directors here are sticklers for the 8 hours minimum even if you worked 12 hour days the week before.

Haha. You're doing better than me! I can never think of anything good for FFFC!

  • I'm totally pre-judging my new group of participants in my weight management class based on their first weigh in. I am guessing one person will for sure drop out in a few weeks because she's not committed to making changes and won't actually lose weight.
  • @nlc8424 I hate when someone loses weight and everyone is like "How did you do it?!" . A better question is "What method did you use to burn more calories than you consumed?". Because that's the only way to lose weight other than liposuction. Even weight-loss surgeries are about consuming fewer (and absorbing fewer) calories.  But the people asking "How did you do it?!" always expect there to be some kind of new answer to the question, which will be a method where the person loses weight without actual making any changes in their life.
  • @MandyMost yes! People always want the short and easy method and truthfully there isn't one. It takes work, planning, paying attention to what you're eating, and you probably will even be hungry but can't eat a lot/what you want at times. Not a magic pill or wand.
  • Here's another one: despite the fact that old wives tales mean squat, I'm irrationally concerned at my lack of heart burn/acid reflux that this kiddo won't have any hair. This is only because I had such terrible heart burn with my son who has always had a full head of hair. Pathetic.
  • My sister is coming to town for less than 24 hours with her kids.  I am cleaning for her arrival, but not going overboard and told my husband to hold me to that.   I am waiting for her comments regarding the state of my kitchen cupboards, nooks and crannies, etc.  I am currently deciding how snarky I want my comments to be.

Haha. I had terrible heartburn at points 3rd tri and my kid still barely has any hair at 19 months!!

  • FFFC: I have naturally greasy nasty hair with the worst dandruff of anyone I've ever seen. It's taken years to find a solution, and now that I have, when my hormones are mostly stable (hooray second trimester!) I "wash" my hair once a week with only minor dandruff. It's never gone for me, so I'll take it.

  • Related to the original confession by Erin, I'm currently waiting to leave doing nothing but bumping because I know if I leave my coworker will leave too, and she never works 40 hours. She left early yesterday and I'm guessing didn't use any time, and I know I'll be frustrated if she left early again today. TGIF.
  • @nlc8424 I didn't have any heartburn with my first born DS and he had the thickest head full of hair and it was so long! Everyone told me he would be bald cause I didn't have heartburn. He almost needed a headband to keep it out of his face
  • @stothi No clue where you live but I’m thinking indoor pool for here. I don’t think I could handle 3 nights. But one 24 hour stay sounds glorious.
  • @knitknitread fantastic idea.   I’m hoping she is going to be here for such a short amount of time that she won’t have enough time to be incredibly critical.  That might be a ridiculous hope, but trying to be positive.
