Nothing! I don't do hot dogs. Turkey dogs, though, I eat with ketchup and no bun.

Oh, I love a good hot dog! I like them three ways:

1.) With chili and cheese
2.) With ketchup only
3.) When it's a ballpark hot dog wrapped in foil (so it's all steamy and delicious) I like it completely plain.

confession: the last meal of my last pregnancy was a sonic coney chili cheese dog. i ended up being sent to the hospital for an emergency induction an hour later (unrelated to the hot dog). the hospital wouldn’t let me eat anything once i was admitted until i had finished laboring 24 hours later. to this day, i still regret that i only got the regular sized hot dog, not the footlong.

Oh man we have a meat market that makes the most amazing all beef hot dogs! I love them with plain, or with ketchup, mustard,relish and onions. But I also love a good chili cheese dog!

Oh man... This is tough. Also my husband has a hotdog problem. He is not allowed near them unsupervised. Depends on my mood. Love a chili cheese dog. Or a good charred dog (def prefer natural casing LOVE the crunch) with ketchup, LITTLE yellow mustard, and pickle relish. Yum!!

@lifesabeach85 okay at one point in life he ate roughly 30 hotdogs. In one sitting. He loooooooves hotdogs. We will buy hotdogs and they will be gone within a day.

I like my hot dogs with just ketchup. Lately though I've been putting shredded cheese on them too. MH thinks it's disgusting.

FFFC: I had hot dogs twice this week for dinner.

I just like a good natural casing dog with ketchup. My arm could be twisted to put chili and cheese if it was available.

Omg, okay. This is my jam. I love having chili dogs with leftover homemade chili. To that I add mustard, onion, dill relish, chili cheese Fritos, shredded cheddar cheese, and jalapenos if I have them available! If there's no chili, nix the Fritos and add ketchup. Has to be a good quality dog as well!

Add me to team "yuck, hot dogs." I'll eat the occasional polish sausage, though. I like the ones from Portillo's with mustard and grilled onions.

I guess if I had to eat a hot dog, I'd eat it with just ketchup and mustard. I'm boring.

@ginny_203 - they are part of the whole deli meat list, so you can eat them but they're supposed to be heated to steaming hot.

I thought there was something about avoiding nitrates/nitrites too, but I'm not 100% sure. I think there are some more natural types without nitrates and nitrites. I did not buy the natural kind though, so I'm not following that rule if it exists.
