I have my ears pierced two holes, both nipples, and my belly button! I have a dream catcher tattoo on my side and an elephant tattoo on my arm. I want to work on a lot more but that'll all be a year or two out(:

I’m boring- I have one hole in each ear that I had done when I was ten.

I was thinking about getting my nipples done last year, but that is currently on the back burner.

My Mom and I have talked about getting complimentary tattoos, but still haven’t figured that out...

That said, I have recently started dying my hair purple, and love it.

I have ears pierced one hole and that is it. Used to have my labret pierced for three years when I was 16-19 as a rebellion stage. I'm afraid of needles so won't ever get a tattoo.

I have one hole in each ear that was done when I was 5 months. I had my belly button pierced at 17 but took it out a few years ago. I don't have any tattoos.

I have my both my ears done, my industrial, and a lip ring. I used to have my nostril, septum, and both nipples done.

I have two tattoos. A butterfly that is actually two faces kissing on my chest. On the other side I have a cluster of hearts that I got matching with my mom. I want a few more but that clearly needs to wait. Haha

I have a Japanese symbol on each wrist for chaos and hope. Yes they're the correct symbols. My college roommate checked them with her Japanese professor before I had them done. Lol.

I have a monkey on my back. It was the wall decal I had picked out for the nursery for my first pregnancy.

I have the first initial of my maiden name on one shoulder and the first initial of my mother's maiden name on the other. A few months after I got married and changed my name, one grandfather had stroke and the other was diagnosed with Alzhemier's. So I had some name-change regret and did it for them. Neither of them like tattoos though, so they probably didn't appreciate it!

I have a fish on my left ankle. DH has a matching fish on his right calf. Purple and orange, our wedding colors. We met on Plenty of Fish, so the fish were his idea.

And I have an elephant on my right calf. The elephant was supposed to be me and I was eventually going to put baby elephants for the kids, but my friend made the elephant a lot smaller than I realized, so I scrapped the idea. It was free and it's adorable so whatever.

I'll do something on my right ankle for the kids once #3 is here. Probably just their nicknames: E, Z, and #3 will need a letter nickname too if it's a boy. If it's a girl, I'll have to think of something else because her nickname will be Skye. Hmmm...

I have ears pierced from childhood and a tattoo of the radio rune symbol on my back from when I was 17. Used to have a nose ring (from 16-22) but let it close up.

Two holes in each ear, though I so rarely wear earrings, let alone 2 anymore so I am pretty sure the second hole closed up years ago. I have/had a naval piercing- also taken out years ago for my job, probably closed now. I have a tattoo on a heart on my right wrist- smaller than a postage stamp. It has very significant meaning to me that not even my husband knows. I also have an infinity symbol halfway between my hip and lower back (so like, lower back right side).

I learned that I can't handle piercings (needles going into my skin). I had my naval pierced at 18 and almost passed out. I kept it until I was about 8 weeks along with this baby. I had my ears pierced when little, but one ripped out and I never got the hole fixed. I just don't care enough.

I love my tattoos though.
A butterfly on my right ankle (that I really want to get redone). It's my "Everything will be okay" symbol. After my first break up (a 2.5 year relationship) I had to move myself back home from NC to MI. I saw butterflies the whole way home.

My right shoulder has a heart with an anchor on one end and a cross on the other. It's for Cor 13:13 "Now these three remain: faith, hope and love. The greatest of these is love". It also has two music notes. Its in honor of my grandpa who was very religious and he and I both love to sing.

I have a "luckenbooth" on my left forearm. My husband has a similar one on his arm. In Scotland it's given to the wife on her wedding day by her husband (he also gave me a real one for our wedding).

After baby is born I'll get a tree stump with the quote (below) from The Giving Tree.

Used to have 4 earrings and one ear, and 3 in the other but then I started working at a High school and it was a pain to get 7 earrings on every morning. Now I have just the one. I have 3 tattoos:

a butterfly sitting on a rose on my right hip: the butterfly I got my first semester of college...the rose was a cover up from a past mistake but I love it. Beauty and the Beast is my favorite movie so it was my ode to that

a tudor rose (without color) on my right heel. I was a social studies ed major, with a concentration in the Tudors (and Henry VIII and I share a birthday).

I have my ears pieced (used to have three holes in each ear plus 3 cartilage in each ear but now all that's left is one hole in each ear).

I used to have 4 microdermal piercings. I had 3 going down the back of my neck and one in my wrist as part of my tattoo.

I had one tattoo of an angel around a cross I got when I was 17. I spent 2 and a half years getting laser removal treatments done, up until I got pregnant. I'll go back for another 6 months or so to finish it off after I'm done breastfeeding.

I have a small, white-ink tattoo of New Jersey on the inside of my wrist so wherever I go, I take a piece of home with me

So basically I'm down to ears pierced and 1 1/4 tattoo haha

I have my cartilage pierced and my 1st and 2nd holes pierced. I have a tribal Pikachu on my shoulder-blade and a tribal Toothless from How To Train Your Dragon on my shin. I want to get a collar bone tattoo at some point too! I am pretty much a child lol.

I might be the most boring person on here. I am TERRIFIED of needles.

I didn't get my ears pierced until 3 years ago, and the only reason I did it was because I wanted to wear beautiful earrings on my wedding day and not clip-ons haha! I only put earrings in every couple weeks now to make sure the holes haven't grown over.

I LOVE the idea of getting tattoos for my kids. I figure if I delivered DS without so much as a Tylenol, surely I can endure a tattoo!?

I have 7 tattoos, 4 piercings in one ear and 2 in another, but only wear the first holes. I used to have my belly button pierced but haven't worn anything since I was pregnant with DS.. and ya know being old.

I had nipples and upper and lower navel done but took all those out during the first pregnancy. Ended up with a stretch mark over the upper navel (lower one was newer and closed), and if I put jewelry in it, the skin turns hot pink, so I left it out.

Currently, I have two open holes in my right earlobe, three in my left, and a nostril piercing. I have a small crown tattoo on my left ring finger, in place of a wedding ring.

I have 6 piercings. I have two piercings in my right ear and three in my left (the third is my cartilage). I also have my belly button pierced and should probably take that out soon but I always forget it is there!

The thought of piercing one’s nipples scares the crap out of me. Mine are sensitive enough as is and I’m nervous enough about breastfeeding that I cannot imagine piercing them! Ouch!

I do not have any tattoos nor do I want any.

I have 3 tattoos (although one is a good portion of my back and side, so it seems like more) and my ears pierced. I used to have my belly button pierced, but some really horrific things happened to it during my last pregnancy that i won't mention here because some people are still experiencing nausea.
I plan to get more tattoos after this kiddo is born.

I have one hole in each ear but I never wear earrings anymore. I have a bunch of roses on my back that I want to get redone in color, a little pyramid-y shape on my back which is a reference to Starbuck from BSG, and a doodle of a rose DD1 did on my right forearm which I had the artist add some watercolor-y effects to, and I’m hoping to grow that into a full sleeve of the kids’ artwork over the years. I had an appointment to get started on a floral half sleeve on my right arm two weeks after I got this BFP which I obviously had to cancel, but having thought about it more I like the kids’ artwork idea better so I think it was for the best. Going to get the floral design the artist drew for me altered/enlarged and done on one of my thighs instead.

I got my ears pierced when I was young and wouldn’t listen to my mother about cleaning them and what not, I didn’t get an infection or anything, don’t remember what happened but they’re grown over now lol. I have my belly button done which I’m hoping won’t give me any problems since my skin has already stretched from previous pregnancies?? I have 1 tattoo that takes up most of my inner forearm. It’s a bears face (mama bear) and two flowers at the bottom of it which are both my boys birth flowers I loved getting my tattoo. I almost passed out and threw up with my belly button getting done. I’m terrified of needles too but it doesn’t feel like needles being shoved in you, just feels like scratching, so I’m ok with that lol. I want to add this babes flower and I’m thinking about getting my nipples done after I’m done breastfeeding, even though it terrifies me because my nipples are so sensitive from breastfeeding before.

I have two holes in each ear, but haven’t worn earrings since the twins were in their grab-and-pull baby days. The upper ones may have closed over.
I have a Egyptian themed tattoo on my lower back, which I had done during our fertility struggles. There’s an Eye Of Horus, which is a good luck symbol, papyrus flowers which symbolize fertility, and an Egyptian lotus (it really a type of lily) which is for change and rebirth.
ETA: I’m planning on something for our kids after these ones are out!

I have two holes in each ear and used to have a number of body piercings (tongue, nipples) but took them out before DD was born.

I have 4 tattoos right now - ‘man eating cherries’ on my right ankle which was a matching tattoo with my BFF when we were 16. I’m still not sure why my mom signed for it - I want to cover it up but my DD has requested I don’t. Then I have a design on my left wrist from when I was 17, my initials made into a design on my left shoulder from when I was 18. And then I took a hiatus after realizing making rash tattoo decisions and going to cheap parlours was a bad idea (the previous two are awful and really need to be fixed but I’m too lazy). When I turned 30 I got my latest tattoo as a birthday present to myself - a giant realistic floral piece with the peony from my wedding invite plus my kids birth month flowers and I love love love it. It runs down my ankle and into my foot and I’m already trying to figure out how ill add to it for this baby!

Piercings: I have my belly button, nose, took out my tongue due to to much gagging this pregnancy, double piercings in one ear, 3 in another (had 4 but took out my tragus piercing)...
have 3 tattoos, believe on my wrist, feather on my collarbone (its my sister tattoo, 4 of us have birds/ feathers), and my daughter's name on my arm (will get my other child's name under hers).

I have two regular ol' ear piercings that I got when I was 18 since I wasn't allowed to, growing up. Earlier this year I got an owl on a branch tattoo with my best friend that I met on the internet when we were 13. He lives in the UK and has come to visit, we got matching tattoos in Jan!

I have two holes in each ear, though only wear one, and one up in the cartilage, I forget what it's called. And my belly button pierced, but recently took that out and don't know if I'll ever put it back in.

Two tattoos, one owl on my side that I got with my best friend like 6 years ago. And then on my butt I have my first initial with a flower that I got when I was 17, and my thought process was "hey, it's on my butt so no one will ever see it, and my first name will always be my name so I won't outgrow it!" Dumb.

I have plans for more tattoos but have never gotten around to it.

Just a heads up for anyone with nipple, naval or genital piercings, you might want to remove them or put in flexible piercings closer to delivery. I’ve seen some nasty tears from clitoral piercings, and if you need an emergency c-section we need to remove them all really quickly (they are an arcing/burn hazard if electrocautery is involved). I hate trying to take out someone else’s piercings.

Ive had 2 piercings in each ear, eybrow done twice, left nostil and septum done both done 3 times, both nipples, tongue, belly button, and the smiley piercing. I had most of them all at one time but I've recently taken out my nipple and belly piercings now all I have left are ears stretched to 5/18th I think. I have a rose inside a casket on my thight, a sparrow and a pair on yin yang cats on my lower arm, and a half sleeve of "see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil" done with cats & roses on my upper arm thats still in progress. I really want to get my eyebrow redone soon and finish my half sleeve after baby comes, that's about it now. Have a few more ideas for tats on my leg & I want the arm I have all the animals tattooed on eventually a full sleeve of different animals

I have 5 holes in one ear and six in the other. The first ones were done when I was a baby, and they just sort of spiraled from there, lol.

I've had my naval pierced for forever and just recently took it out because my excess donut eating (aka my on board inhabitant) started causing the top of it to stick out at a weird angle and it was driving me nuts. It's been pierced for so long that I doubt it'll close, but H will probably be thrilled if it does.

I also have 3 tattoos of various sizes, but all in places that you'll only see if I'm in a bikini.

@zwink1 does DH not like that you have it done?? Mines is the complete opposite.. when we first started dating I remember we'd be cuddling on the couch and he would ALWAYS be playing with my belly button ring just like touching it and moving it.. It never bothered me but I think it became almost a comfort thing for him to play with. he still does it occasionally but not nearly as much as when we first got together

@mamabearcj, yeah H isn't a huge fan of piercings. Almost, if not all, of mine predate H though, lol, so they've stayed. He doesn't like all of the holes in my ears either, but that's a him problem.

I'm pretty boring. I only have 1 hole in each ear but barely ever wear earrings. I also had my belly button done through high school and college but haven't had it in in about 4 years.

No tattoos yet. I love looking at them and hearing people's stories about what they mean, I can just never think if anything meaningful enough to me to get tattooed. I feel like there is a lot of pressure to come up with something really good for your first tattoo.

ETA: since @knottieamusements mentioned her hair, I did recently dye my hair for the first time. I'm naturally a bright blonde but have always wanted to do a natural-looking red. I finally did it right before I got my BFP and I love it! I think my personality fits the red more than the blonde, too.

@DunkinDecaf I don’t HATE it, but it’s definitely the reason I haven’t gotten another yet. It’s under my bikini line and when I don’t shave I have a lovely prickly star. It forces me to shave all the damn time so that DH doesn’t laugh at me. Hahahaha!!!

Funny story, but when DS was younger I was going pee and he joined and said “Mama! I have a penis. You don’t have a penis mama, you have a star!”
