I think we have skipped this for a few weeks but I'm bringing it back (because see below). If you don't want to share a story feel free to just post a meme/gif describing how you feel today.
Happy Monday everyone. I dropped my lunchbox in the parking lot because I was carrying two tote bags full of heavy books for studying. Apparently when I bent over to pick it up the smoothie in my purse tipped over. I didn't notice until I sat down so everything in my purse was totally covered in smoothie. So much for trying to have a healthier breakfast. Good thing I brought a second breakfast of muffins. Here's hoping my luck only improves the rest of the week.
@EErin86 Ugh that's an awful start to a Monday morning!

@eerin86 Yikes! That is not a fun start to the day. Hope it gets better from here!
One of my movers quit without notice last night. I have three stagings this week. Trying to calmly figure out how to move a couch with just one other guy and my bump.
@skilledsailor do you have any of those straps you can put under the furniture and around your wrist? (google "furniture moving straps") My mom got some for me last time we moved and it made everything soooo much easier
@Wishilivedinflorida@EErin86 Since moving furniture is something I’ve done fairly regularly for a few years now, my midwife thinks it’ll be ok for me to continue for a few more weeks. Hopefully I get a few new hires by then. Worse comes to worse, I’ll contract out.
DS had been waking up in the MOTN for the past few nights and staying awake for 1+ hours so I was fully expecting it last night, except he slept and H didn't snore. So of course that meant I woke up every hour wondering if I was going to hear it or not lol.
Also, my 8:30 appointment walked into my office 2 minutes after I got in at 8. Luckily she was fine with going out and sitting in the lobby until I got my ish together. But, seriously, no need to be 30 minutes early on a Monday morning.
I started my Monday with trying on 3 different outfits because nothing fits anymore! Of course, that made me late to work. I have bought maternity pants but only 1 shirt so far and I underestimated how long I could wear my regular clothes. I guess I'll be going shopping tonight. I've bought some maternity dresses but they're all too big still. This is such an awkward phase right now!
@runninginva - I found maternity dresses difficult to wear most of my pregnancy. For most styles you seem to really need an actual decent sized bump to make the dress fall right on your body. I had much better luck with sizing up non-maternity dresses. Especially maxi dresses.

@EErin86 Oh no!! Monday is my snack restock day and I had to bring a separate bag in addition to my lunch bag to fit all of my snacks. I would totally share with you if I could!

+1 to this. They are cheaper than maternity dresses, too!
AFM: Ridiculous pregnancy rant ahead-I was craving chocolate ice cream in a chocolate dipped sprinkle cone all weekend. Baskin Robbins totally let me down not once, but twice. The first time was after a lovely dinner out with MH, we went to the BR drive through and she put my ice cream in the wrong type of cone so she gave it to us for free. MH thanked her and started pulling away and I went into a 5-minute long rant about how I wanted the chocolate sprinkle cone and would gladly have paid for it to get what I wanted. We went back the next day to pick up ice cream for some family in town visiting (OK, it was mostly so I could get the cone I wanted but we did pick up ice cream for them as well). THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY CONES DIPPED. I mean...I'll wait! How long can it take? Ugh. I vented about it some more when we got home and my sweet family assured me I was not being irrational and they offered to help me make my own chocolate dipped cone at home. TL;DR: I've had a craving for chocolate ice cream in a chocolate sprinkle cone all weekend and the craving still hasn't been satisfied.

@nlc8424 It is completely ridiculous and MH was trying to stifle his laughter during my rant as well! It is not a true problem AT ALL but in the moment I was really upset about it and it's something I would not be bothered by in the least while not pregnant!

Hahaha I'm glad he had the sense to try and not laugh at you. I would be mad too.... Sorry ice cream kid, your job really isn't that hard, get it right next time
I actually really liked getting dresses from the Juniors section and wearing them as shirts... Maybe I'm weird
I had a massively important offer to send out by 9am for my boss, who’s out of the country. Like, millions and millions of dollars (Silicon Valley real estate is bonkers). Came in early feeling really optimistic and ready to pull it all together. My email won’t load, my files are all corrupted, and I can’t log in to any of my systems LOLOLOL. After some tears I logged into my email through the web app, re-creates my files, and got the offer out at 9:03 (but I texted the other agent and we should be good). My hands were shaking for a half hour even after it was done. I’m done with this day haha.
@EErin86 poor DH - I called him crying and he had no idea what he could possible do for me. He just sat there on speakerphone while I cried and typed furiously haha. He wins the moral support award.
@ashh2018 I'm with you! My boss is also out of the country! I'm doing our budget for the first time ever (I was promoted to my current position in September) and we thought we were done before she left town. We just got a revision notice that is due by tomorrow at noon and I am charged with cutting 1 million dollars in Revenue! Revenue! Like they want me to make it look like we are doing worse and my boss is not here for guidence.
And - on top of that. I thought that I picked out a super flowy dress that totally hides my bump. It is 90 degrees here today and I really wanted to wear a dress. Everyone is staring at me and someone just straight up asked me if I am pregnant - at work. Ugg. I have no problem telling anyone and I should just do it, but I'm busy today trying to cut money out of our realisticly expected income! And, I really thought I was hiding it well! Fail...
Haha! @adirat apparently so! Although the co-worker who asked was very nice about it and asked very privately. I asked her why she was asking and she said because I have a very obvious baby bump. What I liked less was the make co-worker who obviously was looking at my belly. He didn’t say anything but it was pretty obvious what he was starring at. It’s my fault, but seriously, 2 days ago I tried on this dress and it totally hid the bump! I casually carried a sweater in front of me for the rest of the day!
I had three appointments and a meeting yesterday, and only the meeting was after my husband got home, so my tiny dictator came with.
just to find out, someone messed up (maybe me, maybe then) and my son's long awaited doctor appointment is next Monday. Ick to drive there and have to leave-short drive better getting dogs in their crates and kid in car is hard! And now I know I have 3 appointments to get to next Monday, luckily I have a sitter for one of them.
Oh, and said tiny dictator completely skipped his nap, so he was a monster late in the day, amd slept poorly last night too from being over tired.

@adirat@magnolia209 On the flipside of people who have no qualms about asking a woman if she's pregnant, I called my chiropractors office yesterday to make an appointment, and I led with, "I am a patient there, but I haven't come in awhile. I'm pregnant now and was wondering if any of the chiropractors specialize in pregnancy." The receptionist said something excessively apologetic, such as "I hate to ask you this, and I'm so, so, so, so sorry, but if you don't mind me asking, how far along are you?" LOL I started laughing and reassured her it was okay to ask.

@SkilledSailor Please don’t overdo things! I’m sorry they quit with such short notice.
I obviously slept wrong with my neck in a weird position and now my whole head and neck is throbbing. Trying to get used to my Snoogle again.
