@ginny_203 I'm so sorry you are dealing with this! My heart hurts for you just because of what you must be going through. Are they going to have you speak with the doctor? I'd be so aggravated.
@ginny_203 that is just terrible and inexcuseable! I would be so hurt by the miscommunication and the awful feelings it leads to. I hope she has just been terribly wrong!
@ginny_203 - I am so sorry you're going through this. I'd call and ask to speak to the doctor to clarify what he said vs what the nurse said. Hoping Friday comes quickly and your ultrasound shows good news. Hugs

@ginny_203 I am so sorry! Keeping my fingers crossed for you.
AFM, I had my follow-up today. I should be around 6w3d but I’m measuring 5w5d, no heartbeat. The sac is definitely bigger than it was a week ago, and the yolk sac was very visible when it wasn’t as evident last week, but I feel doomed. We had an IUI, so I don’t see how I could be measuring behind this much unless something is wrong. I’ll know more when I get the results of my blood test this afternoon, but I’ve lost all hope at this point. *TW this will be my fourth loss in 14 months End TW* Ugh. I feel so defeated.
@ginny_203 Unfreakingbelievable, I'm so sorry. You're right, nobody deserves to go through any sort of loss, especially back to back like that. Stay positive and know that we are all rooting for you and praying for good results on Friday.
Thanks everyone. Will update once I've got something to share on Friday either way.
@cassafrass15 sounds like a very similar situation. We conceived via IUI so there's no guesswork about the ovulation/conception date. Please keep us posted. So sorry to hear you're going through this.
Well ladies, I just got the call and my HCG has dropped so we are going to try to get in for a D&C before the end of the week. I really never thought I would be here: 4 losses in 14 months. No babies. But here we are. Thank you all for your support. I hope you all have a healthy, uneventful, and happy 9 mos. I’ll be rooting for your happy endings from afar.
Cassafrass, there are no words. F*ck. I'm so mad for you and I don't understand why this is happening. I'm so so sorry. I'm just so sorry and I wish I could make it better. Please take care of yourself as best you can and know that I'll be thinking about you.
@cassafrass15 I am so sorry. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I am not sure if your Infertility is primary or secondary, but I was in a Facebook group called Secondary Infertility. It is a great group of ladies that are super supportive and really helped me out when I was at my lowest.
@cassafrass15 - I am heartbroken for you. I wish there was something I could say to ease your pain. I hope you get some answers and can figure out what is causing your losses and that you get your rainbow baby soon

I put this in the appointment thread but also wanted to update here as well.
Update: Everything looked great! We have a little sweet pea measuring 6+1, the gestational sac was measuring 6+3. And I should be 6+2 so I think everything is were it should be! The doctor said, "your body just takes longer doing everything". Our sweetpea was playing hide and seek though and didn't want to sit still too long! We did manage to get the heart beat at 109. The doctor said that is fine for early pregnancy and expects it to go up past 120 next week. So now I can relax and enjoy our trip! I will put a picture in the US thread.
We saw the yolk sac today!!! Everything is progressing according to our last scan on Monday, I can’t believe it. I know we aren’t out of the woods yet but we are heading in the right direction to seeing that precious flicker
I know you PGAL ladies will get it. I had a dream last night that this baby was a girl and that she weighed 8lbs 13oz. I woke up thinking I need to relax more and stress less about this pregnancy. Then I went to the bathroom and saw red spotting. My positive mindset went out the window. I don't even know I functioned the rest of the morning getting myself and DS ready for music. The spotting lessened as the morning went on and became more pink. My OB went ahead and did another u/s (we just did one yesterday) and baby looks great. She gave me an RX for progesterone for my peace of mind (she stressed it wasn't because she was worried) and I went on my way. The only time I've ever had spotting during pregnancy was with my first miscarriage and I knew my progesterone was at the low cutoff for normal a week ago so I was a mess. I'm trying to keep the mindset that baby has always looked great and I'm taking progesterone so there isn't much else we can do at this point. I hate PGAL brain.

@mockingjay1 PGAL brain SUCKS. I'm so sorry you had a rough day.
I know my little bean didn't stick around but I keep coming back to check on you ladies. It truly helps me keep hope for future pregnancies to see you all progressing!!
@mockingjay1 Oh man, I'm so sorry about the spotting. That is so scary. But how wonderful that the baby is still doing great! I'm so glad you got in for an ultrasound right away. That's great you got progesterone too. Has the spotting stopped? I'll be crossing my fingers so hard for you that the spotting stops so you can get some peace of mind. @purplefan1 It's so good to hear from you. Thanks for checking in on all of us and offering support, even with all you've been going through.
@purplefan1 - Thank you. You're so sweet to still be checking in on us I hope you're doing as well as you can be. @offtoneverland - My OB is awesome and knows PGAL brain makes people a nervous wreck. I'm so thankful for her. The spotting isn't red anymore it's more pinkish and only when I wipe (not every time, maybe half). With it not being red and knowing baby was ok with the spotting yesterday I feel ok with it. I also found baby on the doppler last night so I think that will help a lot too! They told me your cervix is super vascular during pregnancy which is a common cause for the spotting.

@mockingjay1 bleeding is so scary! But I'm happy that all is going well for you otherwise
AFM, we had a small miracle today. Things were looking so bleak earlier this week after our scan showed just a sac and yolk with no fetal pole or heartbeat, and my bloodwork was not great, my doctor even mentioned scheduling a D&C if we didn't see a dramatic improvement at my scan today. Low and behold, but our little baby decided to show up today, after I'd already started grieving the loss. We saw the beautiful flicker of a heartbeat at 120 BMP today and a fetal pole measuring right on track with where it needed to be. For first time parents, you can imagine our elation in seeing that tiny little flicker for the first time. My HCG is still not quite where they'd like me to be for 6 weeks... they said they'd like to see 10k and mine rose from 3,800 to 6,700 Tuesday afternoon to Friday morning, but I'm still counting today as a win since that's a nice sized increase regardless. We're going to take every day as it comes, but today will go down as a good day Thanks for keeping the good vibes coming and please keep us in your prayers if that's your thing. Any feedback you have about the beta levels would be welcome as well. I'll be sharing the ultrasound picture on that board once I figure out how to do so
6w6d based on LMP but I’m really thinking 6w5d. I’ve passed my 1st and 3rd MC milestones (HCG wise)!
2. How are you feeling (pregnancy symptoms)?
I’m breaking out so so bad. Legit, I have a pimple on my eyelash line ugh. Some nausea and tiredness but otherwise, I’m ok.
3. How are you feeling (anxiety wise)?
From when I got my BFP, I’ve had labs done ever since. They’ve been rising fine and doubling as they should so it’s really helped eased my anxiety. My current level is over 39,000.
4. Any appointment updates?
Hoping to see little bean at 7w3d (7w2d) next Tuesday, the 10th!!
5. What's been happening in your life this week? Rants/raves/whatever (Dear diary posts and venting are welcome and encouraged here):
I’m surrounded by pregnant women at work and it’s been hard. After finding out my good levels today, I want to enjoy this pregnancy more and allow myself to feel hope again. It’s hard to do after 3 losses in a row.
6. GTKY: What are some of your hobbies?
Ive been enjoying yoga a lot! I’m also a huge foodie. I love food adventures lol
@ginny_203 - fantastic news! If everything is measuring right on track except your hcg, I'd be pretty optimistic! HCG levels vary so much and yeah 10-11k might be the average for 6 weeks, but there have to be people on the low and high ends to get those averages. I am so happy for you!

@ginny_203 we are in a similar boat. My numbers weren’t doubling in 48 hours but growth is looking good with the scans. My dr decided to stop with the betas because the scans are more telling than the numbers. I’m glad you got good news with your most recent scan. I hope things keep looking up for you!
@ginny_203 I am so happy for you! As far as beta numbers go, I would forget about it. You have a very strong hb for how early you are and baby is measuring perfectly.
