Re: WTO Fri-YAY 04/06

CD: 15. My app says this is PDO, but I am going to hang around as I am pretty sure my app is two days off.
WAYDTGKU: OT, sexy sexy times...and trying not to be pissed at my fiance
R/R: Rant: My fiance was snoring at 4am so I sleepily told him to breathe through his mouth. He got up and moved to the couch and acted like he was angry with me this morning! WTF?! I didn't make you move to the couch! That was your choice! Rave: Going to the symphony tonight and I feel good about my TTC plan for this month. Fx!!

GTKY: What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives?
Maybe it’s the military spouse/mariner in me, but I think everyone should spend a (slightly) extended amount of time apart from their SO. Living on your own and being independent is tough, but so empowering. And it makes the reunion so special.
CD: 7
WAYDTGKU: pnv, charting, temping, OPK's, b complex, coq10, fertility testing, supplemental progesterone post-O.
R/R: it's friday! But my dr's office still hasn't called with the results of my bloodwork from Monday morning.

GTKY: What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives? Attend the symphony. The beauty of classical music is a balm for the soul. Whether you like spunky upbeat music or more morose tunes, there's something for everyone! I have season tickets for our local symphony's summer concert series and it is always such a great time. I feel so much better and centered when I go.

GTKY: What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives?
I think everyone should work in customer service at some point, preferably when they're a teen/young adult so they can experience first-hand what it's like. Then maybe people would be nicer to customer service people.

November, March) BD was uncomfortable a few days before I. Last night it was a little uncomfortable, so I hope that means I am going to O soon. FX!
GTKY: What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives?
Travel to a different country. Take time to really appreciate how others work and live.
I also agree with @fantasyflyte. I knew someone who used to say that everyone should work fast food at least once in their life. I did as a teen. I lasted about a month before I quit. People were so ignorant, but it gave me a new respect for people who work in that line or work.
@meri-mac I hope you have a great time at the symphony!! My DH sores sometimes too and it's so annoying. I usually push him and say stop snoring! If he snores when I am asleep I don't hear it but I have trouble falling asleep when he is snoring.
@catlady2015 That is so annoying! I hope you get your results soon.

GTKY: What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives? Travel. It's so eye opening to see other places and see the true personality of who ever you are traveling with. It shows you it can look like paradise but in reality it can be so far from it.

GTKY: What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives?
Travel to another country. There is nothing quite like it. Of course I always tell people that they have to go to Africa at least once it their lives. There is nothing quite like it.
@fantasyflyte I completely agree with you. I started waitressing at 15 and it totally changed how I view and treat people in customer service.
@catlady2015 The symphony basically transports me to another world. I had the privilege of playing in a few symphonies. Although you can't totally bask in the music while you are playing, it is still something you never forget.

R/R: Lots going on! I am still working my part time job at PetSmart on my husbands days off. My H just got offered a new job that will be a HUGE pay raise, although he isn't super looking forward to the job itself. But it will get him sales experience, and hopefully he can go back into the wine industry for sales after this. So, we should be able to start making a dent in our debt again. We have a plan at least. Also, our neighbors house got broken into a couple nights ago, and now I am in constant fear. I've always had anxiety issues, but I had the first full blown panic attack last night and I lost it. I am feeling okay right now. But it just comes and goes.
*TW loss* So, last cycle was the first cycle after my CP, and it was an odd cycle, and I never figured out an actual O date. I did OPK's and it was never a positive, and my temps were weird, so I basically just stopped tracking halfway through. Hopefully my cycle is back to some form of normalcy and we can kind of start trying now.

@babydream0916 *TW*I had a CP in December. I was so upset. We had known for a week before we found out I was a chemical. It was, and is still, so hard on me. Lots of people don't know they have CM's because periods may show up close to when they normally would. But since we are tracking so closely, we know we were pregnant.

@meggyme That is an excellent point. I think as humans we are endanger of taking things for granted and time apart always puts things in perspective. Even though MF and I were living together for a few years, his evenings only schedule meant I only saw him on Sundays and Tuesday nights. It isn't as rough as living in different parts of the country/world/etc., but it did make our days together special.
@fantasyflyte I hope the snow stops soon for you. I have worked in a few jobs that entail customer service. It makes me nicer to CSRs and tends to make me hate people at various points in the day.
@AdorkablePixie BD is usually uncomfortable for me if I wasn't entirely in the mood, but it wasn't a full feeling. Might just be bloating associated with ovulation. I do sometimes feel "full" if I am bloated.
@gorgeousariel Boo about temp dropping and having your stuff stolen! That is awful. There is a grand prize show home people are allowed to take a tour around. You have to take your shoes off before walking around and people have been stealing shoes when people are inside. What is wrong with people?!
@babydream0916 Sorry for AF showing up. Fx this is your month!
@Whitmore1027 WE MISSED YOU!! I understand needing a break. It can get overwhelming sometimes. I just check the boards when there is a lull at work and leave the evenings for family time. That way I don't overload the TTC crazy parts of myself. Congrats for YH's new job! I will take the boudoir idea into consideration

WAYDTGKU: all the stuff
R/R: I’m feeling much better today! Thank you ladies for being there for me yesterday. And that is why I am part of this crazy online community.
I’m going to go ahead and schedule an appointment with an OB. My GP recommended a few. She’s totally convinced that we’ll get KU after the HSG. It’s great that she’s being optimistic. It’s giving me something to hold on to. But at the same time I don’t want to get my hopes up too high.
I paid off another student loan!!! Yay me! Only 4 more left.
I have failed miserably at cooking this week… whoopsie!

GTKY: What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives? Live abroad. Even if it’s just for a couple months. It changes you.
@meri-mac Sorry your F is being a butt. MH and I have been sleeping in separate beds for months now… I love it. And I don’t think it’s going to change any time soon.
@catlady2015 Hi friends. Sorry you haven’t heard anything about your BW yet. That’s annoying. Do you have your HSG scheduled yet??
@fantasyflyte I 100% agree about working in customer service. Some people are so mean and feel entitled. Try switching places for a moment and see how it feels!
@adorkablepixie I sometimes have O pain so BD can be uncomfortable for me.
@gorgeousariel I agree, traveling to a “paradise” place is very eye opening. On our honeymoon we went to St Lucia and I had always heard that it’s a very rich island so I expected everyone to be rich lol. Um not the case at all. In fact it was the opposite. Most of the locals didn’t have enough money to buy basic things because the prices had been driven up by tourism. It was sad.
@babydream0916 So sorry about CD1 and your CP. I am definitely having some wine tonight too! And I don’t normally drink but this one hit me hard so I’m going for it!
@whitmore1027 Hi! So glad you’re back! But I’m also glad you took some time for yourself. I too think I might be spending too much time on here… or just obsessing about TTGP in general. I know my work performance has been suffering. I’m working on finding a balance. Sorry about your anxiety. Is it possible to move to a better neighborhood??

@meggyme oh that’s good on the ovulation kit! And yes, living alone and being fully self sufficient and independent is also an important life experience.
@catlady2015 I was totally overwhelmed at my first concert. I think classical music and going to the opera are both things where you feel the music right deep in your soul, though not quite in a Julia Roberts “Pirates of Penzance/I almost peed my pants” kind of way lol!
@fantasyflyte well done smart you! And oh yes to working in customer service!!! It brings a whole new meaning to “treat others how you would like to be treated yourself”. I worked in both a small supermarket and in a local pub/restaurant as a teenager. At one time I had four jobs at once. Being in at 7am in the supermarket dealing with difficult customers and then serving customers in the restaurant at 11pm who don’t understand that a rare steak comes with blood and blaming it on the waitress... I have to say something if someone in my party starts to talk like that to service staff.
@adorkablepixie yes I get a very full feeling just before O that can make certain positions uncomfortable. (***TMI but me on top CD12-16 is normally not an option end TMI***)
@gorgeousariel it might count towards good timing though if you O in the next days!
@babydream0916 CD1 is THE day for wine and chocolate, go for it.
@Whitmore1027 sorry to see you back but welcome! My brother in law set up some very cheap and simple security cameras for my sister when something happened similar in their neighborhood to give her more peace of mind as he is away several nights a week. Maybe you can look into that to help ease your fears?

WAYDTGKU: Trying in our own before IVF#4
R/R: This morning was mostly about washing. Washing sheets. Washing towels. Drying sheets. Drying towels. Luckily this afternoon was mostly about eating the delicious lunch DH made and then a visit from a friend whilst DH sucked up leaves, mowed the lawn and burnt the grass growing between the bricks on the terrace. It was a glorious afternoon to spend in the winter garden with the sun streaming in, the door open for fresh air and watching all the animal comings and goings in our garden. Spring was definitely in the air today. And the weather forecast for the weekend is sun and good temperatures.
CS/Q: - FF is messing with me. It’s trying to tell me I Od on day 8 because my last three temps were above the first 8. But these three temps are now at my normal coverline and I had no other O signs so far, so I’m calling “bullshit” (like in How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days)
GTKY: What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives?
Do something they are afraid. Just so you know what it is to overcome fear and what you are really capable of.

It was a very scary moment.
I don't have a HSG scheduled yet. My OB is really optimistic that supplemental progesterone is all I need after reviewing my charts, so we just did the cd3 bloodwork and will do the supplemental progesterone after O this cycle to see if it does the trick. I have a feeling the HSG will be scheduled for next cycle if the progesterone alone doesn't do it this time. I'm wholly expecting to have to do it, and I know I'm older and don't have a lot of time to spare, but I appreciate the step wise approach. Progesterone first, then other testing (HSG and SA), trying to rule out the issues one by one. That way, at least if it's anything more than the progesterone, we'll know what we need to do if we want to have more than one child.

GTKY: What is something you think everyone should do at least once in their lives?
Experience what it feels like to have a chronic illness. I get this isn't possible, and don't want people to be sick, but people who haven't been there just don't get it. Example, when I say I am physically exhausted and can barely use my hands, being sleepy from a bad nights sleep is not comparable.
P&g for a bit, will be back for tags later.

@LJMoon6 Thanks! And congrats on paying off another student loan!!! That's fantastic!! Unfortunately it wouldn't be a good thing to move at all. Crime can happen anywhere. We live in a quaint small country town, where city hall, police station and fire station are within walking distance. I LOVE it here. I've honestly never heard of bad things happening and I always felt safe here. We are renting a house and in year 2 of a 3 year lease. And for the price we are getting a lot. It would be too expensive to move, and it would probably be in a worse neighborhood. haha.
@emmasemm Yeah I will look into that. A police officer friend actually recommended getting those metal door and hinge reinforcements put on the doors. It makes it much more difficult to kick in a door (It's amazing how easily a locked door can be kicked open in general! So we will probably do that at least. @AdorkablePixie the forecast for tomorrow for here keeps waffling: snow! no snow! snow! no snow! Personally I'm so sick of it and ready for spring and planting and bright colors and warm.
@gorgeousariel that sounds awful! My car was broken into once but it was local and they didn't take anything, just rifled through things, I was lucky.
@babydream0916 I'm sorry about CD1. I'm sitting here eating chocolate chips straight, so I'm certainly not going to say anything about the wine and chocolate lol!
@Whitmore1027 hi! I'm glad the job's still going well for you and I hope your husband's job situation pans out well for him. I'm sorry about the anxiety, I hope it settles down soon for you and you can feel safe again.
@meri-mac that sounds like a really cool show! I wonder if they'll play music from the Final Fantasy games, that's some of my favorite.
@holly321 I'd probably use the first one since you were asleep longer before taking it.
@Whitmore1027 I've missed you so much! Although I could've just texted you or called
@AdorkablePixie I also feel uncomfortable before ovulation. I always wondered htf we are supposed to have sex if that's going on. Well, I solved that issue for myself. My husband and I looked into trying different positions until I feel comfortable. Might want to give that a shot. It helps if you are the one in control so turn or shift when something doesn't feel right. It also helps to picture when you first started dating and what those romps were like.
@babydreams0916 I'm very sorry for your loss. I hope the wine and chocolate treats you nice and no shame in the party of pity.

@babydream0916 I felt the same way with mine, but it IS okay to cry. It is still a loss to us.
@emmasemm YES! I am glad I'm not the only one. That winter garden sounds to peaceful and relaxing!
@holly321 I'd probably use the temp that is more in line with the temps you usually take, if that helps at all. I hate to say it and I don't want people sick either, but I think you are right. Not only would it maybe help people to understand what others go through, but maybe also make them have a better appreciation for life itself. (Maybe. I've never had a chronic illness.)
@catlady2015 I've realized it's swelling from my ovaries getting ready to ovulate. It's nice, though, that I know when O is impending! I ended up Oing around noon on Saturday. I use to have a vitamin D deficiency. I actually take a vitamin every day now. I was having spells of getting super lightheaded and dizzy last year around this time, I started taking the vitamin and it improved.
@fantasyflyte What ended up happening with the weather? They were calling for some snow on Saturday here, but we got nothing! It was just cloudy and chilly.
@suzycupcake YES!! I was thinking how are we supposed to make a baby when it's so uncomfortable I'm afraid to even have sex. lol It wasn't as bad this go round though, thankfully.
