Re: FFFC 4/6
1. Related to the food/grocery talk in the other post. I do not look at prices when I grocery shop. I don't use coupons either. I do try to buy store deals when they have them but my shopping tends to be pricier because I get a lot of produce and organic snacks/etc from the outside perimeters of the store. We do buy in bulk at Costco too for some stuff. I don't go into the aisles with chips and snacks from my youth to buy those cheaper products either because now, they are gross to me. So, sort of laziness and stupidity I guess because I could probably save a ton more, but I just don't.
2. This is more of a funny one but this morning I parked at Harris Teeter to go get some starbucks and as I was leaving I thought I would just drive forward through the empty space in front of me. But, I forgot there was a median there. Ooooops.
@scottishlass1213
I don't look at prices either which is bad and I really need to get better at it but it's so far down my list of priorities
I don't think I have anything to confess to today. My conscience is quite clear
Is there any other way to unpack after a trip? We currently have a suitcase half full of clean clothes laying on our bedroom floor.
2nd round exp 8/20/18.
Life is short. Eat the little Debbie’s. Lol.
I do get plastic bags though because I use them for cat poop, etc around the house.
Mine is that I just found out it is going to be really cold tomorrow (like 30 degree drop), which means I probably can't wear the really cute wrap dress I had bought for this fiesta themed birthday party we are going to tomorrow, and as a result I am considering telling DH I have to work and can't go. It is his best friend's daughter's first birthday and it's in Dallas (4 hours away) and they are renting margarita machines and now that I won't even be able to look cute as planned I am dreading going.

I guess my FFFC is that I'm super Judgy McJudgerson and IDGAF what that says about me. If you don't like me because of that, whatever. Lol I'm sure most of you have already figured this out about me based on my previous FFFC and UOs.
In this town I'm sure my cart makes me look like a yuppy with my fresh fruits and veggies, organic dairy products, and zero junk food. I actually had an older lady at Fresh Thyme ask me what I did with all of that "leafy stuff" I was buying. I was stuffing my second bag full of red chard. So I politely educated her on how to cook it and what it tasted like, and she tentatively bought a bunch to try. I hope she liked it.
I love my reusable bags, but most of the stores here refuse to use them. Drives me batshit. So I recycle wads and wads of the plastic ones that I end up with.
@doctormom33 I might try that, I would have to run out and buy some mat tights (and probably a sweater as well which could be hard to find here in April lol). The dress is very "fiesta" themed though so it might look dumb, I can't tell.

As a health promotion, fitness person - I would love one day to be able to work with the youth population on things like that.
I don’t look at other carts because I usually shop at a few stores, and at least one of my carts always looks horrible with pop and lots of snacks.
I sometimes look in other's carts, and do judge if it's full of absolute crap. I can't be tooooo judgey though, because ours is often half and half unless I'm on a big crock pot meal prep kick.

Benched due to deployment- Off the bench 8/8/17!
I walked in late to my u/s appointment with a DD coffee in my hand this morning and gave zero fucks. I only slept about three hours, I deserve that and a nap today!
I’m not taking the time to scroll up and see who wrote this. You know, for many Americans, grocery shopping is extremely stressful because they have to account for every single penny they spend. Because they don’t have the money to buy whatever they want. So excuse me for being pretty offended by this flippant statement. Some people can barely afford to eat, children included.
Not your problem, of course, but perhaps a little tact would be nice.
+1 for not knowing grocery store prices.
Nobody handed me a pot of gold so I'm not going to apologize to you or anyone else for being able to afford my groceries.
YES to unpacked suitcases for months and in my case closer to a year mark. I sure don't need summer items right now but I could easily grab a sundress or floppy hat out of one stashed under my bed if for some reason I need one tomorrow.
Re: Cart judging. I generally am a snoopy person and love to see what others are buying but don't judge too harshly but am aware of judgement happening. I've been known to hide a bag of starburst or doritos strategically behind the healthy stuff. I've ran into my boot camp instructor in the store before and now make sure the broccoli is placed front and center.
FFFC - I declined free pizza today because it had a topping on it I don't like ::double confession:: that topping is Bacon.
I refuse to pick toppings off. It's my way or no way in pizza land.
