Finally had time to drop into the chiro today during my dr's normal walk-in hours. Turns out she's off because of spring break. I can go back later and see the other dr, but I don't like her as much.

My WTF is going out to my sinuses. Its been like two weeks of on and off stuffiness, pressure and headaches. I'm normally full of sinus issues and this combo of pregnancy induced stuffiness and lack of allergy meds is killing me.

@KFrob I have a head cold right now and my OB this morning said I could still take sudafed and/or benadryl

@cagncool12 we got a few inches last night too and it sounds like there is still more to come!

AFM... I was telling DH this morning about how crappy I slept last night and that it was partly due to his snoring and he kept moving super close to me, which I can't stand. His response as to why he was moving closer to me was, "oh yeah, I think its because your gaining weight so I'm falling toward your side of the bed more." WTF! WHO SAYS THAT TO THEIR PREGNANT WIFE!?

@bel194 I’m sorry, I laughed, but that was kind of funny. A coworker once accidentally told his pregnant wife she looked like a stuffed sausage with the shirt she had on. He claims it was because of the color of the shirt being close to sausage casing, but none of us bought that and we still laugh at him for saying it... I think the kid is 7 or 8 now.

@sliztee OMG yes! Had to take the kids to the dr for tetanus shots (we have a somewhat modified vax schedule so they had to go back to get the other 5 year appt shot today) and while the needle was in the first one’s arm the power went out! Science museum after that and then wegmans to pick up dinner and I swear every time we go out it’s worse. And of course I didn’t check the weather so we were all out in sweatshirts.

My WTF - WTF mom, you can’t complain about sister coming up with all this stuff for her own bridal shower (that you’re planning with her), then tell me it isn’t her fault because she’s never been to one, and then refuse to let her in on the common etiquette (which she should be able to find in any freaking bride info thing ever made) because you’re just letting her do her thing like you did for me... I never freaking even tried having any input on any part of my shower except to say I didn’t want games... she is PLANNING her own shower and assigning stuff to bridesmaids. Ugh!

Got in a car accident we both didnt see each other and backed out in a parking lot and we were in eachothers blind spot. I have 1 payment left on my car and the lady just bought her car. Sad day I'm not gonna repair my bumper. Its an '07.

(Sorry its a bit long)
Wtf hotel!!
I went to bed at like 7 to try and sleep off this headache. Woke up to pee (thankfully) get back in bed and as I'm just comfy the fire alarms start blaring... check out in the hallway and guys are walking down saying it's not a false alarm (buildings also in construction) so we evacuate it's 834. About 5 police cars, 4 fire trucks and 2 ambulances sirens blazing come in and we stand outside for an hour in the cold while they figure it out.( they did great actually, all very nice) guess what it was?!
MULCH OUTSIDE!!! Some how caught fire after it had rained today right next to the buildings front entrance, and caught the building and it was smoldering... they put it out gave us the all clear and I have a little emergency bag with all my important things (keys, wallet, water, charger,) in case this happens again... finally getting back to bed now but had to rant first..
I'm glad it wasn't too serious and everyone is ok.. now to sleep off this headache

@mamabearcj glad the fire wasn't anything serious! It does remind me of a fun fact I learned that wet hay bales are at a serious risk of catching fire on their own...I wonder if thats what happened with the mulch. Basically, when hay bales are moist, the moisture on the inside creates a chemical reaction and produces heat...when it gets too hot, the hay catches fire! Its bizarre.

Omg the wind storm in Southern Ontario last night! Wtf April. My hubby works for a Hydro company and was working until midnight....ugh I hate going to bed alone (paranoid freak over here!) Doesnt help that I stayed up watching Forensic Files lol

@sliztee Some years are better than others. When I was a kid we used to get snow on Halloween and we haven’t had that in a while now... we’re lucky to have snow for Christmas some years, which is really weird to me, but it seems to last longer into spring now (except that year it was 90 in April).

I feel like seasons have shifted. It's cold in Oct here in MI, but we don't tend to get snow until later in Nov/Dec if any. And then winter lasts well into April... I'm so ready for warmer weather. I just want to clean up my garden...

WTF Ikea. Our new couch was set to be delivered at 9 a.m. last Friday. The guy never showed so we went in to the store to figure out what happened. They had no idea what happened but rescheduled the delivery and refunded us the delivery charge. Couch was supposed to be delivered today at 9 a.m. It's noon and still no sign of the damn couch.

I'm annoyed because I had to move all the other furniture in the living room so there's room for it to be brought in and I can't do anything else with the furniture blocking access to the rest of the house. Ugh.

@sammierose464 MH and I say that all the time! Our October’s can still get cold (but this year our friends didn’t even close their pool until November because it was so warm), but then it’s colder for longer in the spring. It’s funny because every fall for the last few years it’s constant “global warming, ahhh” and then in the spring everybody is all like “winter is never ending, what happened to global warming?” and I’m just sitting here thinking how sad it is that people have such short memories.

@siztee - I apologize for saying that the snow wasn’t sticking. I jinxed us. Sorry.

@tinattt23 why do people do that?? I had someone ask if I was excited for having a baby... Umm... I was just confused on that one. I was feeling really gross when she asked, so I dunno if that's why she wondered?? I mean, of course I'm excited! I'll just try and not barf on you.

@tinattt23 I hate when people ask me if we were trying or if it was a surprise...we’ve been married 5 years and I’m almost 30, take a guess. And yes, none of their business! People are rude. I feel like I’ve had a surprising number of people ask...it’s like, “how are you feeling, were you trying?”

WTF ultrasound secretary! Had to wait an extra half hour for my scan with a VERY full bladder and was ushered out the back door at the end when they closed. Told to make sure I go uptown for the blood work (all part of first tri screening) because I need to get it done within 24 hours and their clinic is now closed. When I arrive for the bloodwork the other clinic says the ultrasound place should have given me back my requisition form and they can’t do my bloodwork. Now I have to take a day off work, go back to the first place to get my form, and finally do the bloodwork to hit the time window. Grrrr....

complaining aside, the ultrasound techs I’ve experienced are REALLY great and printed me out a picture of my baby waving. So cute!

@tinattt23 I haven't had anyone say that yet. I would act happy on the outside but in my mind say is it any of your business?? It doesnt matter if its intentional you're gonna to happily deal with it either way. People have just said your in for a hard time and looked shocked because my baby turned 6 months yesterday. Just waiting for the stares when my belly gets big.

Plus one to being annoyed at people asking if it was planned - we’re on baby #3 (with decent age gaps which we did intentionally)... pretty sure we know how birth control works by this point! For us a lot of people seem confused because we already have one boy and one girl so why on earth would we want another?! It seems like moms of 2 of one sex get more of a free pass for number 3 because they’re ‘obviously’ trying for one of the opposite sex (I also hate the logic behind this one and people assuming moms feel incomplete with only having kids of one sex!).

When I tell people that at 27, I have an 8yo brother they look at me shocked and ask if he was an accident. I jokingly tell them that nope, I was! My brother and sister were very much planned. My mom struggled for 2 years to get my sister, even though she had two successful (and unplanned) previous pregnancies!
