AFM- well I about had a heart attack when I saw my RE calling today. The nurse usually calls or emails with good news and the RE calls with bad. So I was freaking out as she took her time pulling up my ERA results, but I am RECEPTIVE with 4 days (96 hours) of progesterone. She also said there was no inflammation noted, so that is great. We are a green light for FET on 4/30! I am SO thrilled and hopeful that this will give us success. There is a small part of me that wishes I had pushed for the ERA harder before donor eggs (I did ask and my RE was pretty sure it was my eggs). I mean out of 3 IVF cycles, we only had two early blasts at day 5 and who knows if they would have made it to freeze and been normal and stuck, but part of me thinks we would have tried one more time if we knew about the post receptive issue. I asked if my natural cycle is also likely receptive at 4 days past ovulation and she thought probably. If that is true, a natural pregnancy will never be an option for me since no embryo is a blast and ready to implant 4 days after ovulation. Overall I feel good and just trying to believe this path was God's plan for our babies to come to us.

JamieH2000 - Glad you've got the info you wanted! Yeah, it's easy to second guess choices in this process. You made the best decision you could given the information you had at the time, ya know? I say full speed ahead and don't look back. My transfer is tomorrow so maybe April will be our lucky month.
I've been feeling all doubtful the past few weeks, like the thought that this isn't going to work keeps creeping into my head. Which is absurd because I was always optimistic with my own egg embryo transfers (which always turned out to be abnormal) and there is a much greater chance of it working this time than in the past. I'm feeling more hopeful today, but dang the psychological aspect of this is rough.

@JamieH2000 SO glad you got good results! I’m sure that was the answer you needed and things are only going to go up from here! Yay! AFM My procedure is scheduled for April 11th! My RE said that to be safe, we would be looking at “more of a May transfer” so I’m not exactly sure when that will be! AF showed Sunday and RE has had me on patches and Lupron throughout the entire thing so I’m not sure what his protocol will be after the clamp is on. I was hoping for a late April transfer but I guess I will definitely be some time in may given no more bumps in the road! I’m trying to stay occupied instead of think about how far off that really seems, even though it isnt!
OK done! It seems everything went well. Transferred 1 PGS normal, don't know the sex. Girls that have already had a frozen transfer and tested at home, how many days did you give it before testing? My beta is on Friday the 13th, not sure how I feel about that! (j/k )
Very exciting @chitown18. I had a fresh transfer but tested at home 7dp5dt. It was a clear positive so I maybe could have seen a light one before that. GL to you!!

@rachelh0912- I somehow missed your note about the procedure! I am so glad they could do this quickly and pray that this will be it for delays! Hopefully shortly after the procedure they can give you a calendar so you can have a date to look forward to! I think early May seems reasonable. For reference, i had a hysterscopy in Mid Nov and transferred by Dec 8th I believe, so if they can put you on provera for like 10 days after the procedure you should be able to get AF and then start your cycle.
@chitown18- Congrats!!! I would probably try to last until 7 or 8 days post transfer if you can. It all depends on how you would feel if you got a negative at 5 or 6 days post. I know some ladies get positives that early, but if you don't, it doesn't mean you are out yet!

Next US is 4/24. @chitown18 I'm glad everything went well! I'm a crazy POAS-aholic and started at 3 days post transfer. I got my first squinter AM 4dp transfer. Usually by 6 or 7 days past you'll get an answer either way.

@chitown18 SO excited with the way things are looking for you!! Isn’t your beta tomorrow?! Eee!! I’m feeling good for you! My procedure went okay, thank you so much! They ended up taking the entire left tube because it was in such bad shape. My RE also found endometriosis. He didn’t give me any info, maybe because I was so out of it. But he messaged me later telling me to stop all medication and meet with him tomorrow. I have a bad feeling that something will be canceled/pushed back AGAIN but for now, all I can do is wait. So, I’m hoping for the best news from you to keep things looking up! Haha
@rachelh0912- Glad the procedure went smoothly. I hope they were able to remove the endo if they found it. Crossing my fingers the meeting tomorrow gives you good news and a plan with a transfer date SOON!

AFM- my baseline was good and I started estrogen. Next appt is on Tuesday. I got a horrible stomach flu on Sun and then a head cold yesterday, so I am not feeling great. I have been trying to force myself to drink liquids and eat to stay hydrated and full of nutrients, but its been hard. Hoping none of that will effect my lining or anything! hopefully this means there is no way I will be sick around transfer or during the tww at least.

AFM, I had my appointment with RE and he let us know he found stage 4 endometriosis and wants to treat it for 2 full months before discussing the possibility of a transfer. As much as I will miss you ladies, I hope each one of you get to move on from this and I only see success stories to keep my head up! DH and I are not dealing with this well at all but we know there is nothing we can do at this point. Thinking of each of you and so grateful for your support thus far!
@rachelh0912- I'm sorry for the continued bad news and road blocks Why didn't your RE ablate it while he was doing the laproscopy? Does he want to do another surgery to remove it or does he want to do a lurpon depot? I know two months feels like forever, but if you take care of this, there is no reason that embryo shouldn't implant when you get to transfer! Thinking of you and hoping these next two months can some how go quickly! Any opportunity for you and DH to take a little trip or get away?

rachelh0912 - Ugh, I'm sorry. This process is so flipping frustrating and unfair. Did you have any history or symptoms or is this a total surprise? I haven't dealt with endo so I have no words of advice and don't know what the treatment entails. Do you think you'll get a second opinion or are you confident in your RE's opinion?
*TW* I've got some good news: beta today was 135 at 9dp5dt. I'm not letting myself get overly-excited this early just based on past experience, but I'm definitely feeling cautiously optimistic/relieved

@c-town18 Congratulations!!!! That is the exact update I was hoping to see! I am so thrilled for you! Can’t wait to see more updates! And thank you so much for your sweet words! I have had symptoms for sure for as long as I can remember but my Gyn didn’t think it was a cause for concern.... boy was he wrong! We would have gotten a second opinion but my RE took photos with the scope during my procedure and you can definitely see exactly what he’s talking about!
@JamieH2000 Thabk you for always being so kind and caring! RE got as much as he could but said most of it was around my ovaries and behind my uterus so he was afraid to do anything without me having a full colon prep before surgery! He is treating me with 2 months of Femara! He said he’s seen a lot of success with that so fingers crossed. DH and I are hoping to plan a getaway to *try* to take our minds off things! No idea where to go yet but that’s the fun part! How are you? Is everything going well still? And are you feeling okay?
@rachelh0912 I'm sorry for the endo shock. I feel like I am in a similar position. I've had endo symptoms for as long as I can remember and since my IVF cycle, they have gotten worse. My RE agrees that it's likely endo but is very conservative with surgery and has denied me the last two times I've asked for a lap. She said I haven't had enough failed transfers yet to warrant surgery (*TW* I attempted 5 IUIs, 1 IVF, 2 FETs - all BFNs - and had two miscarriages and one CP in the last 18 months....I'm not sure how much more she wants me to suffer through!). She has been open to treating me as an endo patient, but I had a really bad reaction to Lupron so can't do a suppression protocol. I have read a couple of articles that suggested a FET with femara showed great success for endo patients and my RE is open to doing that if my 3rd FET fails. I'm wondering if you would mind elaborating on your RE's femara protocol? Will you be on it continuously for the 2 months?

I guess at least you have an answer as to why you have had egg issues AND they are able to treat it before transferring an embryo to give you a better shot. That is encouraging to hear your RE has had success before. So you will just stay on Femara for two months straight? I have not heard of that protocol before, but curious since I had stage 2 endo removed 2 years ago (hopefully it isn't back too bad!). I'm doing good.. transfer should be in 2 weeks from today, assuming my lining behaves. Though after everything, I just never assume any more than everything will go smoothly. next monitoring is tomorrow.

*TW* AFM, beta today was 382, so that's a 48-hour doubling time. I'm doing one more on Wednesday, and then hopefully go back for 6 week U/S the following Wednesday.
@c-town18- that is a great second beta! So happy for you hope the next 8 days go quickly until your U/S!
AFM- I had my first lining check after 6 days of estrogen. Normally I am above a 7mm at this point. Today it was only 5mm. Last time I started this slow (in Oct) I ended up only getting to 7mm and cancelling for fluid (and polyps were found/removed after). Just terrified that the polyps are back and that I will be cancelled again. I have been waiting SO long.. started DE a year ago now. Just feeling so defeated and tired of this all. Appreciate your thoughts and prayers. I'm sure they will up my estrogen and bring me back in more. I still have 9 days until I am supposed to start progesterone, so hopefully there is still time and I just started slow since I was pretty sick last week.

It really helped me have one of my best linings ever. I drank about 6-8 oz mixed with seltzer water once a day leading up to transfer. @joslynj11 and @prudence9-2 Thanks girls! I havent done POM the last 2 cycles, and I was fine, but I am going to pick some up tonight and also up my Vitamin E and L-arginine doses. I think it def can't hurt and its worth trying! The email from the nurse didn't sound too concerned. My patches go up already today and they are adding in 2 vaginal estrace, in addition to my oral estrace. My estrogen was only 104 today, while it has been 130-150 the last two cycles at this point, so hopefully the higher estrogen will plump up the lining and I'm really just a few days behind because of my flu last week. Hopefully things will look good when I go back in next Tuesday!

AFM- well I about had a heart attack when I saw my RE calling today. The nurse usually calls or emails with good news and the RE calls with bad. So I was freaking out as she took her time pulling up my ERA results, but I am RECEPTIVE with 4 days (96 hours) of progesterone. She also said there was no inflammation noted, so that is great. We are a green light for FET on 4/30! I am SO thrilled and hopeful that this will give us success. There is a small part of me that wishes I had pushed for the ERA harder before donor eggs (I did ask and my RE was pretty sure it was my eggs). I mean out of 3 IVF cycles, we only had two early blasts at day 5 and who knows if they would have made it to freeze and been normal and stuck, but part of me thinks we would have tried one more time if we knew about the post receptive issue. I asked if my natural cycle is also likely receptive at 4 days past ovulation and she thought probably. If that is true, a natural pregnancy will never be an option for me since no embryo is a blast and ready to implant 4 days after ovulation. Overall I feel good and just trying to believe this path was God's plan for our babies to come to us.

I've been feeling all doubtful the past few weeks, like the thought that this isn't going to work keeps creeping into my head. Which is absurd because I was always optimistic with my own egg embryo transfers (which always turned out to be abnormal) and there is a much greater chance of it working this time than in the past. I'm feeling more hopeful today, but dang the psychological aspect of this is rough.

AFM My procedure is scheduled for April 11th! My RE said that to be safe, we would be looking at “more of a May transfer” so I’m not exactly sure when that will be! AF showed Sunday and RE has had me on patches and Lupron throughout the entire thing so I’m not sure what his protocol will be after the clamp is on. I was hoping for a late April transfer but I guess I will definitely be some time in may given no more bumps in the road! I’m trying to stay occupied instead of think about how far off that really seems, even though it isnt!

@chitown18- Congrats!!! I would probably try to last until 7 or 8 days post transfer if you can. It all depends on how you would feel if you got a negative at 5 or 6 days post. I know some ladies get positives that early, but if you don't, it doesn't mean you are out yet!

AFM- my baseline was good and I started estrogen. Next appt is on Tuesday. I got a horrible stomach flu on Sun and then a head cold yesterday, so I am not feeling great. I have been trying to force myself to drink liquids and eat to stay hydrated and full of nutrients, but its been hard. Hoping none of that will effect my lining or anything! hopefully this means there is no way I will be sick around transfer or during the tww at least.

AFM, I had my appointment with RE and he let us know he found stage 4 endometriosis and wants to treat it for 2 full months before discussing the possibility of a transfer. As much as I will miss you ladies, I hope each one of you get to move on from this and I only see success stories to keep my head up! DH and I are not dealing with this well at all but we know there is nothing we can do at this point. Thinking of each of you and so grateful for your support thus far!

@JamieH2000 Thabk you for always being so kind and caring! RE got as much as he could but said most of it was around my ovaries and behind my uterus so he was afraid to do anything without me having a full colon prep before surgery! He is treating me with 2 months of Femara! He said he’s seen a lot of success with that so fingers crossed. DH and I are hoping to plan a getaway to *try* to take our minds off things! No idea where to go yet but that’s the fun part! How are you? Is everything going well still? And are you feeling okay?

@rachelh0912 I'm sorry for the endo shock. I feel like I am in a similar position. I've had endo symptoms for as long as I can remember and since my IVF cycle, they have gotten worse. My RE agrees that it's likely endo but is very conservative with surgery and has denied me the last two times I've asked for a lap. She said I haven't had enough failed transfers yet to warrant surgery (*TW* I attempted 5 IUIs, 1 IVF, 2 FETs - all BFNs - and had two miscarriages and one CP in the last 18 months....I'm not sure how much more she wants me to suffer through!). She has been open to treating me as an endo patient, but I had a really bad reaction to Lupron so can't do a suppression protocol. I have read a couple of articles that suggested a FET with femara showed great success for endo patients and my RE is open to doing that if my 3rd FET fails. I'm wondering if you would mind elaborating on your RE's femara protocol? Will you be on it continuously for the 2 months?

@rachelh0912- Glad your RE got as much as he could, and its wise to stay away from the ovaries. I guess at least you have an answer as to why you have had egg issues AND they are able to treat it before transferring an embryo to give you a better shot. That is encouraging to hear your RE has had success before. So you will just stay on Femara for two months straight? I have not heard of that protocol before, but curious since I had stage 2 endo removed 2 years ago (hopefully it isn't back too bad!). I'm doing good.. transfer should be in 2 weeks from today, assuming my lining behaves. Though after everything, I just never assume any more than everything will go smoothly. next monitoring is tomorrow.

Oct-Nov 2016- IVF #2 with Estrogen Priming Micro Lupron Protocol, 2 eggs retrieved, day 3 transfer of 1- BFN
January 2017- New RE, IVF#3 with Estrogen Priming Antagonist Protocol, 12 eggs, 8 mature, 6 fertilized, 2 day 5 early blasts transferred (none to freeze
May 2017- Sept 2017- Starting Donor Egg process! Waiting for donor to be available... and then she is pregnant at baseline
Oct 2017- Donor #2: 25R, 22M,18F, 12 blasts frozen! Fresh transfer cancelled due to thin lining with fluid

tosh24 - I agree with you, it sounds like you've been through a lot already. Hopefully your RE will be willing to address your endo issues here soon.
rachelh0912 - Glad you guys have a plan and your RE has had success with this in the past. You and DH definitely deserve to go somewhere warm and relaxing in the meantime to kill some time.
*TW* AFM, beta today was 382, so that's a 48-hour doubling time. I'm doing one more on Wednesday, and then hopefully go back for 6 week U/S the following Wednesday.
AFM- I had my first lining check after 6 days of estrogen. Normally I am above a 7mm at this point. Today it was only 5mm. Last time I started this slow (in Oct) I ended up only getting to 7mm and cancelling for fluid (and polyps were found/removed after). Just terrified that the polyps are back and that I will be cancelled again. I have been waiting SO long.. started DE a year ago now. Just feeling so defeated and tired of this all. Appreciate your thoughts and prayers. I'm sure they will up my estrogen and bring me back in more. I still have 9 days until I am supposed to start progesterone, so hopefully there is still time and I just started slow since I was pretty sick last week.
