  • @JamieH2000 glad you didn’t get bruised by the thicker needle. I used to have needle phobia, but I had no other choice and had to get over it. It’s pretty amazing what we can do when we really want something!!!

Congrats on being PUPO!!! I’m so happy that the lining looked great today!!! Will keep my fingers crossed for you that you will have another 10 weeks of PIO ;)

  • @JamieH2000 CONGRATULATIONS! Being PUPO is exciting. I am happy to hear that things went well. Hopefully you can enjoy the next several days without a lot of stress. I too was on a LOT of pills, patches, and shots, but I feel like it ends up going faster than you expect. I kind of embraced all of it since it was something I could manage/control compared to so much that is out of our hands.

AFM, it is nearly impossible to believe I have a six month old baby (Thursday). There were soooo many times I thought I would never experience the other side of the infertility struggle. Sometimes, I still feel like pinching myself - hard to believe it's really my life.

I am rooting hard for everyone here. I so wish there was a magic wand...

  • @JamieH2000 CONGRATS ON BEING PUPO!! I’m so glad everything went smoothly!! Sorry I’m so behind! Been trying to stay busy and thinking about anything else than treatments during this break we have while on Femara so I’ve not been checking in like I should! I hope we get nothing but the best updates from you from this point forward! Yay!!
  • Im just catching up while we are away. @JamieH2000 Im so glad all went well. As @BusinessWife used to say, lets hope you are PASP -pregnant and staying pregnant!

i was on all my meds for about 6 weeks after my beta. They didn’t even switch me to suppositories, I did PIO the whole time. I think full sensation in my hips has just recently come back! It’s all worth it. When is beta?

    May 2020 FET; BFN
July 2020 FET; CP treated with methotrexate
    Oct 2020 BFP!

Take a look at my blog

  • @rachelh0912- thank you! You def should take a break while you can! I hope the femara is going good. Did you have a procedure coming up too?

@laurad75- thank you! I sure hope its PASP this time! I've been finding it hard to be hopeful since like last time it should have worked. I know now we have the ERA results, but its hard to believe that something else isn't wrong now, since there has always been something for the other 3 transfers. I think anyone at this point would feel the same, but just doing my best to stay calm and neutral about it all. Beta is on Thursday.

  • @JamieH2000 I had my left tube removed in April and they found the endo which lead to the Femara! As of now, I’ll stop Femara on the 29th of this month and wait for AF to show to *hopefully* start a new transfer cycle! Again, I’ve learned to use those dates very lightly!!
  • JamieH2000 - I forget if you are in the "wait until beta" camp or if you plan to take a HPT at some point?  Or are you just taking it a day at a time and then deciding? Yup, I totally know what you're talking about re: finding it hard to be hopeful. I swear, this process has made me so darn skeptical/numb/guarded, it's been hard for me to believe that things may just end up working out this time.

  • @rachelh0912- aww yay!! only a few more weeks until you can get started! I am SO hoping there are NO more delays for you! you have been through way too many already and its your turn!!

@c-town18-ya I think i am just taking it day by day. I have plans with DHs friends this saturday night and then my immediate family is visiting monday evening since my sister is in town. So i don't think I could deal with a negative before all that. I may just try to wait until Wed or even just the beta on Thursday.  I know you ladies all get it.. i just feel like I can't expect it to work this time even though it really SHOULD!

  • @JamieH2000 so glad everything went smoothly!

Ive had a very unpredictable week with all this stuff. So we had the donor all chosen, they were going to ship the eggs and then everything blew up.  There was some sort of disconnect between the agency and the clinic that had the eggs.. The clinic that had the eggs had the incorrect inventory in the computer on their end, so after they had our money and went to ship, my clinic went to coordinate with the other clinic and there were NO EGGS available at all.. so yeah.. that was insane.  My doctors office was beside themselves because this has never happened before.. so now back to the drawing board trying to find a donor
  •  knottie7777 - Ugh, what the heck?!  I'm sorry, that's got to be beyond frustrating when you have someone all picked out and then it falls through.  Especially when you are doing frozen eggs, you kind of expect that some of the unpredictability is taken out of the process, ya know?  Well, I hope you find someone new and even better very soon. Sorry girl.

  • @knottie7777- I know how devastating it is to not be able to use your first choice donor... its heart breaking. Honestly I would consider finding a different agency. If their quality control in inventory records is that bad, I would question all of their quality control. I am so sorry and hope you are able to find another suitable donor soon! Thinking of you!

  • @JamieH2000 sending lots of prayers to you !!  I don’t blame you for waiting for beta , I’m the same way . I’ve never tested beforehand  and then when I got the positive call before I lost my mind ! Haha
  • @knottie7777 so sorry it’s so frustrating when that happens.  I can relate; my 1st donor changed her mind and the 2nd was acting all crazy, so the clinic rejected her.  It’s not easy and you just wonder when will this all end so you can be on the other side.

@JamieH2000 can’t wait for your update tomorrow!!! Thinking of you.

adc0417 - Sorry you're having donor problems.  I know how frustrating that is.... last summer our first donor "forgot" to take all of her stim meds one night and our whole cycle imploded.  I couldn't flipping believe it. FWIW, our second donor turned out to be so much better and it all turned out for the best.  Hopefully things start heading that way for you too in one way or another.  Thinking of you.

  • @JamieH2000 Again I can’t express my happiness enough.  Such great news!!

@c-town18 it totally can be so infuriating when your donor( that your life depends upon) does not follow instructions.  Anyways, so for the 3rd try at this we have decided to go with the egg bank.  We had to go out of our ethnicity, but at least it’ll be with less variables and hopefully less headaches.
  • @JamieH2000 the best news. I’m so happy this worked for you and yes, those babies are yours.

Ladies, there is hope. It takes an unimaginable amount of patience and faith but there is hope.

JamieH2000 - *TW* OK, so I know everyone says beta levels don't perfectly correlate with how many embryos implanted, and they aren't a reliable predictor of twins, etc. but of the three different times I had positive first betas the only time I had one as high as yours was when two had implanted. Just sayin'. In fact, my beta that time was almost exactly the same as yours, and I'm assuming it was on the same DPT as your beta b/c it was at FCI too. !!!!!!!!!!!
