Wednesday @ 10am (I'm leaving work after my first class and PRAYING they will let me go in time to be back by the end of lunch! About a 90min gap including my planning period, conference period, and lunch).
How far along will you be?
7w3d Yay for having an official due date, but boo at being almost a week earlier than I was hoping.
What is being addressed?
Going to measure little bean to make sure growth is matching. Since I didn't know when I ovulated and my feb cycle was irregular, Dr wants to just double check that lo is growing appropriately.
Comments/Questions/Concerns:
I'm going to have to break-up with an OBs office really soon. My personality makes me feel really awkward about this.
I met with the MFM doctor last Thursday. I LOVED her! She was the nicest doctor I've ever had. She was so positive and upbeat and answered every question I had. I'm kind of sad that I won't see her again until May.

We are heading over to my dads for lunch and to let DS and my little brother have an Easter Egg hunt. I've been cooking for the last 2 hours!
We aren't announcing yet, we are waiting for DS birthday party at the end of April (extra family will be in town). We also want to make DS involved as much as possible with the pregnancy.

H and I are spending a lazy Sunday watching movies and hanging out. Just had a big salad for lunch and will be having homemade pineapple ham and scalloped potates for dinner.

What is being addressed?
First appt with my OB-GYN. I’ve been emailing her updates and lab results so far. Hopefully we will see appropriate growth from my last US and she can confirm a due date. She lets me see and watch the US as well so I’m praying I’ll be able to HEAR a heartbeat with my own anxious little ears

I’m always waiting for bad news... If things look healthy and on track, we are considering telling the kids after this appointment. I’m pretty sure 3/5 will be happy? The teens... we’ll see.

We did the family things on Friday and Saturday. Today DH is working, and his kids are at their mom’s, so me and my 3 are relaxing and watching the new episodes of “Series of Unfortunate Events” (I will try to stop my 8 yo ferocious cuddler from squishing my boobs and pressing on my belly!) Sunny with a 90% chance of naps this afternoon.

What is being addressed? I’m actually meeting a doctor at a different OB office that I’m considering switching to. This one is smaller and I am not loving that my current practice is so huge I will have to basically see a new person at every appointment. @middleschoolmommy I am also feeling kinda awkward about it though!

What is being addressed? I'll have another ultrasound and likely repeat progesterone levels.
Comments/Questions/Concerns: Just worried my progesterone has continued to drop. I ran into my OB as I was leaving work Saturday morning and she truly wasn't worried so I've tried to relax a little more. PGAL brain majorly sucks.
GTKY: Any special plans for Easter? If anyone is announcing today, please feel free to share pictures! DH fixed some stuff on my car while DS and I watched a movie. We don't usually let him watch tv, but I woke up with a migraine and could hardly function.

Tomorrow afternoon (4/2) for an ultrasound to hopefully finally confirm viability.
How far along will you be?
They said I will be 6 weeks exactly, but I think I might be a little earlier maybe 5, 6.
What is being addressed?
So far the doctor hasn't been able to confirm viability. So they are hoping to see a yolk sac, feral pole, etc tomorrow. The doctor thinks we will know either way. Although my number have been great. More than doubling in 48 hours.
Comments/Questions/Concerns:
*TW* My last pregnancy stop growing at 5-6 weeks, although we didn't find out until 8-9 weeks. So I am just worried the same thing will happen again *End TW*
I am worried that tomorrow we will still not see anything. I have been a big bundle of nerves since Friday.

We announced today to family! I needed to tell people with everything happening. I just wanted to feel the happiness of telling people. I took a video. I wish I had taken some pictures! We got a big golden egg and we pair booties and a big sister tshirt in it. When our daughter found it, we had her open it in front of everyone. It took a minute for them to realize what was going on!

We are so excited! A bit worried about making sure everything is alright but I think that's a FTM thing. I'm having a lot of morning sickness and already can't fit my jeans so we're also interested to see if it might be twins (DH thinks it could be but I'm Team Singleton- I think I'm just bloating).

We announced to DH's parents for Easter. DH dropped it into conversation casually to see if they'd notice. They did. My MIL is super stoked and can't wait to start knitting for her first grand baby. Otherwise we kept it small this year because the morning sickness has been so bad, I didn't really feel up to anything.

How far along will you be? 6-7 weeks
What is being addressed? My OB makes you meet with the NP first to confirm pregnancy (urine test) and go over all the paperwork with financials. So that's this appointment. Then I can finally schedule my first ultrasound.
Comments/Questions/Concerns: Just biding my time until I can get that first ultrasound. I'm wondering whether I should push to have it sooner (8 weeks based on LMP) or wait another week (8 weeks based on ovulation date). Obviously I want to see this LO as soon as possible, but I also don't want to do it too soon. **TW Loss. My latest loss milestone is 7w4d so I'm afraid if I get a ultrasound and I'm only 7 weeks, it won't feel real because I haven't passed that milestone. I won't have another appointment until 12 weeks and that might feel like an eternity to wait. I think I'm leaning towards waiting until I'm sure I'm 8 weeks for the ultrasound, even if it means a longer wait now. End TW**

confirmation appointment. The doc always does an ultrasound at every appointment, but i'm sure there will be blood work and possibly scheduling of another more official ultrasound.

Just so excited for my first appointment and hoping everything looks good.
So they want me to come back on Thursday. They said we should be able to see a lot more by then and maybe even the heartbeat!
I am so relieved! Of course though, the first thing I Google is, "is it normal to only see a yolk sac at 5 weeks, 5 days". I can't wait until this anxiety let's up!
DH and I ttc for 3 years and some days I'm still in shock over this pregnancy. Reading your update made me tear up. Love hearing happy news!

What is being addressed? This appt is with my RE to confirm the pregnancy via ultrasound. We saw the fetal pole, yolk sac and saw a flicker which they believed to be the heartbeat. This was a sad, yet happy appt since it was my last visit there.

The doctor said 8 weeks based on ultrasound, a few days further along then I thought.
What is being addressed? This was my first appointment so the dr. just did a dating ultrasound. We got to see the heartbeat which was so reassuring! I go back next week to meet with a nurse and do bloodwork, etc.

Glad to finally have had an appointment. Now maybe I can stop poas every week.
If anyone has a positive story along the lines of baby measured a few days behind where they were but then caught up or something, I would be all ears.

Comments/Questions/Concerns: The sac is measuring 4 days behind where I am according to my lmp. I didn’t track ovulation or anything so it’s totally possible everything is right where it needs to be. It still makes me a little nervous. Things are already moving along better than last time so I’m staying positive.

7 weeks and some odd days... pregnancy brain is killing me right now, haha.
What is being addressed?
My first ultrasound and look at this tadpole! I'm also going to see about getting my progesterone supplements switched from oral to suppository because I'm having a super hard time taking pills with this terrible gag reflex and I'm certain I'm going to throw them up at some point with all this nausea that has kicked in. Also, the heartburn is unreal so I'm going to make sure I'm clear to go ahead and start taking Zantac 150 twice a day.

Hoping everything checks out. **TW: My previous miscarriages were all right around 8 weeks so I'm hoping everything goes well tomorrow and I measure on time and with a strong HB. My first loss was a missed miscarriage that I found out about at my first appointment. I ended up with a D&C since my body didn't want to go the natural route. If my appointment does go well, though, I'm hoping I'm in the clear!!

And I have to throw some anxiety on top of it because the appointment is in the middle of my school day so I HAVE to be done at the dr office by a certain time.
My next appointment is tomorrow and I am so grateful that this is our spring break! I am not sure how I would keep this a secret at school with all these doctors appointments. I am hoping that after tomorrow it will go to once a week.
