@ecwk I have the Vista and absolutely adore it. The 2015 version is the one we have, which they reconfigured things to make it a true double with the rumble seat. They also made it easier to fold than the previous model, it’s so easy now. We loved using the bassinet when we’d go on walks while DH was on paternity leave, and clicking on our Mesa car seat was wonderful too. I did that for a loooong time. Now I leave the toddler seat attached all the time. The one thing (which is heartbreaking) I just found out is the weight limit for the rumble seat is 35lbs. DS is currently 37. So my plan for using it as our double is now ruined. I’ll definitely still use it, with the kickboard thing attached, for quick trips with both kids, or alone with baby. But now I’m looking at side by side doubles for when we need a big stroller (like for Disney). Annoying, as that’s a good $600+ I wasn’t planning on spending. I can’t remember if this is your first or your second, but I do highly recommend the Vista, just not if you already have a large toddler.
I watched JCS last night too and though I’m not a big Andrew Lloyd Webber fan, I did enjoy most of it. That end shot was absolutely stunning, and totally made it worth watching. I thought Sara Bareilles was wonderful, and Brandon Victor Dixon (Judas) was amazing - especially after I realized he’s the one from the cast of Hamilton on Broadway that gave the epic speech to Pence when he was at the show. I am really glad they had an audience for the taping. I know the classic live musicals that they used to do were shot on sound stages and didn’t have audiences, like they did for Sound of Music and Peter Pan, but it makes such a difference in energy when there’s an audience.
Count me in on eating all the hard boiled eggs today. I used my instant pot to “boil” them and they turned out great. Also ham. Give me all the ham. I feel like death today, so lunch will probably be the highlight of my day.

I missed JCS - hopefully theyll have a repeat/encore showing!
@elsieisamoocow Oh man I really want ham. A big ham sandwich on a baguette or something. I'm going to hit up the grocery store for discounted Easter candy - maybe they'll have discounted hams?? They always do that after Thanksgiving/Christmas with turkeys. We have a huge turkey in our freezer still that we bought for like 10$ after Christmas
And I'll pass on hardboiled eggs. I usually love them - and I loved to eat them on Easter as a kid, but I can't really stand the thought of them now
Hi ladies!! Knee deep in work today, but popping in to say hi! Also had hard boiled eggs today! I eat eggs almost everyday, but it was nice that I had to prep them anyway! @elsieisamoocow also a huge fan of them in the IP! It gets them perfect and they peel so easily!!
@mrsbubbles-2 I forget where he got the kit from, but it took him a solid week of climbing up and down the attic to drill the holes. He made a grid on the ceiling so it the cables would be pretty evenly spaced on the ceiling.
Put a pic in the spoiler but it’s a little bright in his room still.
In fun news - starting to feel more movement the last day or two!! 19 weeks this friday and so far it’s only been a flutter every few/handful of days. I’ve felt it daily, multiple times since Friday or so. Yay! I didn’t feel big movement until ~20 weeks with DS, so I figured this would happen, but I was getting impatient!!
No boiled or deviled eggs today but yesterday for sure. Yum. I have really been enjoying eggs this pregnancy. I ate probably 2 dozen last week on vacation. That might be a slight exaggeration lol.
Anyone have an extra placental lobe? Apparently I have both a posterior and slight anterior placenta. Really NBD allegedly until after birth (have to make sure all the placenta comes out but I am not real sure how they verify this). I'm a little nervous about it because I know it can cause major bleeding, etc, after birth so...I would love to hear from others if you've had this!
All this egg talk is making me crave them something fierce. But they give me diarrhea, so I can only sneak an egg by every few weeks unnoticed. Oh the irony, I have a backyard of chickens and can't really eat the eggs.
@dirtanddiamonds For mine, I just bought a gift that I knew my hostess (my mom) would like. She loves to bake so I bought her a basket full of baking tools and a few baking books.
Making it personal is the best way to go, in my opinion.
@dirtanddiamonds ditto @msmonalisavito, go with something personal. Restaurant gift cards are always good if you know where they like to eat! @mrs_drc_rn that is so beautiful!!! I’ve got DH looking at kits now!
My parents dyed 2 dozen eggs with my nieces so I brought home a dozen to make egg salad for the week. Eggs haven’t been super appealing lately, but egg salad sounds delicious. I hope I’m not disappointed.
I love egg salad, and will boil some eggs as soon as walking upstairs doesn't seem like such a gruelling prospect. Flu sucks. I'm going to look into grocery delivery since I pretty much cleaned out my fridge before we left for the week, and now I have nothing to eat, and a trip to the store seems insurmountable. Having groceries delivered to our cabin at Disney World was amazing, and totally sold me on grocery delivery!

@scottishlass1213 it was a little article on Today’s Facebook page first, I think. He had posted the process on Reddit and then they emailed him. After that it just kept getting shared to all these different websites so I always tease him that it was his 15 seconds of fame.

No experience, but they may give you an ultrasound to verify it's all gone. When I had my MC, I had to have one when everything was over to make sure everything cleared out. This is just a guess though, on my part.
@dirtanddiamonds I got my hostesses Vera Bradley umbrellas with some corny expression (my shower to a rain shower or something along those lines) and a bottle of wine. Useful and much appreciated!
this is one uses only the seats that come with the Vista originally and the toddler seat has a 50lb limit. So I think it would work for us because once baby outgrows bassinet or car seat then they could use he toddler seat and bigger kid could use the standing board thing. But do you or @calimom2524nhave experience with having the bigger child up top? Is that awkward?

I have not had the bigger child up top but even the bigger child on bottom was awkward for me. I dunno, I'm probably not the right person to ask cuz I didn't like it haha
I fell again, but this time landed on my butt on my couch (I was standing on the couch to clean my blinds). I'm not having any pain or bleeding, so I don't think I'm going to call my doctor when I'm going next week anyway.

Unfortunately it’s 50lbs limit for the whole frame, at least according to their website. Even if DS is only 37 still when baby comes, I could only use it together until baby is 13lbs. Which sucks because we bought the extra seat and adapters when we bought the stroller! Guess we will just need to have one more if this time goes well, and not wait so long lol. I wouldn’t want to have the baby down below and the big kid up top, plus DS always wants to see out, and he’s have to turn towards me for it to work best. Too awkward.

Can you link me where it says that on the website? I’ve tried to find it but can’t!
Yesterday was super busy, but I’m not quite sure why. Jealous of all those feeling energetic the 2nd tri. I still just feel tired. Less tired, but still tired.
@amac12999 - I'm with you. Tired is pretty much all I've got lately.
We had a big thunderstorm roll through last night and as much as I love thunder and rain all I could think was 'sssshhh, Mother Nature, we're trying to sleep!'
