  • @livinthesunnylife They only have maybe 5 or 6 right now. I've seen them before and resisted, but not today! Plus I got a dress for when it finally warms up.

  • Tula is on Zulily right now?  eeeeeh, don't look, don't look, don't look
I really want a Tula, but I have no idea if this LO will like it since DS wasn't a huge fan, so not sure if I should spend the money. I know you don't want to look... but if you do, tell me which one you recommend for a newbie/firsttimer

  • @lolog531 If the free to grow existed when I bought mine I would for sure have gotten that.  The older ones require the infant insert when they are tiny.  You should try it, I really don't know how people parent without a Tula

I currently have the Six Position LILLEbaby All Seasons on my registry after swapping out the Tula FTG, should I go back? What are the differences? This is all so confusing.

  • I was going to register for a Free to Grow Tula, but the regular Tula on Zulily was too good a deal to pass up. I'm going to register for an infant insert instead. @legallykate I'm going with a Tula just based off of recommendations. My sister has two and swears by them. I think other carriers are also good, but I haven't necessarily heard first hand experience.
  • @legallykate i have not tried either personally so take my opinion as a grain of salt, but i had other moms tell me that they had trouble with the Tula being too broad whereas the lillebaby worked better for narrow shoulders? Not sure if tula can be worn with the straps crossed in back but lillebaby can. That's why i put lillebaby on my registry. I wish i had time or accessibility to actually trying them both on in person, but i don't think that is going to happen!

  • @legallykate, I completely recommend the Lillie over a Tula, mainly because you can cross cross the straps on the back.  You can't with a Tula.  It may not seem like a big deal but if you have a smaller frame it makes it so much more comfortable to wear with it xx'd.  Also, when I baby wear I HATE feeling the straps rub on the back of my arms, I'm a sensory person.  Xxing them fixed that! Plus you can do forward facing and narrow seat with the Lillie!

Also, I'm gonna throw this out there.  If you live in a warm climate the becco gemini airflow is AMAZING.  I'd never seen one so I didn't check it out.  My friend has one and it's so much less bulky than a Tula or Lillie, if I see a good sale I'm snagging one for sure.

This convo has me seriously considering a Lillie. I have a small upper frame, so I think it might work well.

I’m obsessed with my ring sling, especially for the first few months, but I could use something that distributes weight better once she bigger.
