And there’s not a single new shoot or leaf growing on any of my rose bushes whereas google photos showed me 1st April last year we had the first roses flowering!

Dear Diary,
I knew this weekend would be difficult with my pregnant sister & her kids plus my brother’s kids. It was an enjoyable weekend, though my heart was very heavy and I noticed more than ever the lightness in my arms.
My Ma gave my sister’s oldest books we read as a child. He loves them. She then was going to give some to my brother’s kids. My Brother never read those books & his kids were not interested. I finally told my mom to stop giving away everything before I had a chance to have kids
It is so hard to see everything so focused on the kids and feel so left out of celebrations.
We’re having a similarly tough holiday. Enjoyable and painful in equal measure with the focus being on the kids.

I maintain, as I did at Christmas, it isn’t the gifts or the excitement I need from others. It’s the acknowledgment that this is beyond hard to be the only one without children.
My jokes about being barren this far seem to make people uncomfortable. Guess what? Their kids make me uncomfortable.

We went to an engagement party yesterday and a very pregnant former friend as well as four toddlers were there. I got AF an hour before we left for the party. I drank a bottle of wine and tried not to cry while playing with a 14 month old. Even trying to run errands this morning little children in bunny ears were everywhere. Spent the last 24 hours on and off crying and missed Easter at our friends house. DH went and told everyone I was having allergy problems because crying and can’t get out of bed is hard to explain.
I wish I didn’t feel this way, that terrible jealousy that comes up is so ugly but I can’t turn it off.
@zamora_spinWhat an effing heart-wrenching weekend for you. That sucks that you missed Easter with your friends. I truly hope that the time alone was good for you. Sometimes people need to waller in feelings and take a time-out from others.
And by ‘weekend’ I really mean the all the time you’ve been on this path.

We went to an engagement party yesterday and a very pregnant former friend as well as four toddlers were there. I got AF an hour before we left for the party. I drank a bottle of wine and tried not to cry while playing with a 14 month old. Even trying to run errands this morning little children in bunny ears were everywhere. Spent the last 24 hours on and off crying and missed Easter at our friends house. DH went and told everyone I was having allergy problems because crying and can’t get out of bed is hard to explain.
I wish I didn’t feel this way, that terrible jealousy that comes up is so ugly but I can’t turn it off.
And by ‘weekend’ I really mean the all the time you’ve been on this path.
