@ffw0617 if you can go bra-less, that's probably ideal for these off the shoulder things. No one would wanna see these suckers without a bra though lol.
@moonovergoldsboro business in the front, party in the back! Yah thinking even a mullet on a 14 month old might be weird lol
We've only had Queen beds since we moved in together 12 yrs ago. We're both little, so it works. I never feel smushed. But if our future house, we hope to get one day, fits a king... I wouldn't be against it.

I feel like all of my plans for the next year are centered on moving, lol. DH told me we could move as soon as Oct, but it could also be sometime 2019. Joys of military life, lol. I don't mind moving, keeps life spicy, but I'd also love to settle down somewhere and know which schools my kids will go to.
I'm hoping for Colorado or Texas for our next station.
@May14th2011 I prefer chewy cookies to cakey ones, but totally eat both kinds. Would never say no to cookies, and the ones you made look yuuuummmmy.
So. We're at my in-laws' in the countryside for Easter weekend. I made carrot cake cinnamon rolls last night and FIL is working on a big brunch. Later we are all going over to my BIL's for my nephew's 2nd bday party.
Problem is...my partner isn't here. His sister is getting married next weekend, and her fiancée's bachelor party was yesterday. He's been part of the family for years, so my partner left on the train yesterday from the closest village before lunch. They were planning to do laser tag + city escape and dinner. He was supposed to take the train back to his parents' village afterwards, where we'd pick him up.
We'll. We didn't hear from him all night. I finally went to bed at 1. When I got up with our son at 6.30, I saw he sent an email at 6.15 saying his phone ran out of batteries and he ended up crashing at home in Amsterdam (there are regular night trains going from the city where they were to Amsterdam) because he missed the last train here, and he was heading to bed.
Who the hell knows when he will be up again. I'm not really mad because he almost never goes out so he kind of deserved a fun and crazy time. But we had plans. It's a holiday. There won't be as many trains today, my nephew's party (in yet another city - ha) is this afternoon, and his charger is here so communication will be difficult. Also. Our car is here, so...
I wish he'd been a little more responsible, considering all these unusual circumstances...
ETA: cinnamon rolls in the spoiler, if I've done it right.
@dinodna3 Oh, let me know how that cake turns out. I have a ton of over ripe bananas that I had planned to turn into cupcakes this weekend, but that didn’t work out.
@kfren FX on the bed upgrade. We moved from full to queen last year and it is great!
That's frustrating about your partner!! Hope he can get back to you guys!

@=caenis= (wont let me tag, I probably just dont know what I'm doing at this hour) @catlady1215 think yesterday or today has something in the air for men to be extra annoying. Mine on my isht list too.
I couldn't fall asleep last night. Maybe I did around midnight. Woke up once to pee and then at 6am because of a horrible dream. Needed to be up at 730 for church. Gonna be a long day. Hope everyone celebrating has a Happy Easter.
Just in case, here's a virtual one, though.

Personally I haven’t struggled to find sheets but I’ve always had one brand for any size mattress that I greatly prefer, and I do all white everything, so it’s easy for me to order online.

@catlady1215 Happy Birthday! YH had better come through or he's gonna have a BMB's worth of PO'd pregnant ladies shaking their heads at him!!!
Thanks for all the bed feed back, ladies! A Cal King would be ideal, since DH is 6'3", but our house is teeny.
@kfren your bed dream is amazing!! I wish we could fit a king size bed but our room is not big enough. I fantasize about vacations just for the king size beds in hotel rooms.
I went out last night after putting DD to bed and got DH and myself all of the Easter candy and made baskets. DD didn't really get it this morning, but she seemed to like the toys from the Easter Bunny. Next year should be so much more fun with a 2.5 year old and almost 1 year old.

@kfren we have been having the same debate. We have a queen and I’m 5’9” and MH is 6’5” but our master is not very big. I think @doxiemoxie212 may have convinced me on the cal king because we have more real estate in length rather than width in the room.
AFM... we are on our way back from Madison for the weekend. We had our baby shower yesterday which went so well (will AW on the shower thread when we get home and I can get a photo of the loot). Also starting to just feel big and uncomfortable and not really liking any of the photos from the event because I think I look fat but I’m trying to not focus on that and remind myself that I’m making a human.

@kfren when we upgraded from a full to a Queen last year it was AMAZING the difference. We're both small people and plan to move again in a year so we didn't go all the way to king. But you'll feel such a difference even if you go from full to queen.

No cake or brownies. There were cupcakes at sil's, so I told dh I was taking one home for later since the store is closed and i can't get my brownies. He was all 'why didn't you tell me last night you wanted brownies?!' I was like umm I told you multiple times this week that I told ds that's what he could get me....' he's a god gift giver but not always a good hint getter lol. So I have cupcakes for later.... or I'm debating a milkshake if McDonald's is still open. We saw one open earlier.
