@llamamama14 this is my fav banana bread recipe. I use a full cup of sugar (because I’m lazy and that’s easier than measuring 3/4 of a cup) and I add about 1/4 cup sour cream. Added chocolate chips and walnuts.
@llamamama14 I really likethis blogger because of her simplicity in baking. I have tried her banana bread and her oatmeal chocolate chip bread, both of which were awesome. (Sorry; I can only link to her site in general, but the bread recipes are easy to find.)
@llamamama14 nigellas recipe seriously takes 5 minutes to assemble, then you just bake it and pile it with whipped cream and raspberries. It was one of the first things I baked when I was like 16 or 17.
All this baking talk has me drooling over here. I have Friday off because dd's daycare is closed. I'm thinking about trying to find some cookie cutters and baking and frosting cookies with dd.
I may or may not have been a rebel and ate 3 silver dollar deli sandwiches yesterday from our baby shower! Not even warmed up! I figured they were made that day for our party so I knew they were fresh and good quality (Boar's Head) and boy were they good!
H: did you make a whole pan of brownies and eat them all? Me: What's I'm hearing ... is a whole lot of judgement. I also offered you some H: I didn't figure you'd eat them all Me:
@MissKittyDanger - I've had the same conversation with MH and gotten that same judgement, lmao. He eventually learned that if I'm offering him something, he needs to be clear he wants it - even if it's not right that minute!
@izza2 Idk why mine was so surprised. I offered some every time I stood up, and yet shock when he sees how much I ate. *shakes head* Tbh I try to be nice and offer something of what I'm eating if I know I'm just gonna devour it all and he enjoys it also lmao
@Austenista I had that a few weeks ago. I told MH I thought something was wrong with me. It has slowed down recently though. For example, yesterday I forgot to eat lunch. That's not normal for me, even pre-pregnancy. I have absolutely no scientific evidence to back me up here, but I think the ravenous moments happen because the babies are going through a growth spurt.
@elsie42 balance, right? Although your balance looks more balanced than mine. Mine goes avocado toast for breakfast, salad for lunch, dinner and then...a piece of cheesecake, reese's pieces, chips and salsa and 62 jelly beans. I don't think I have the proper balance down yet.
@Austenista Mine comes in waves. I eat more every single day as a whole, but there are some days I'm satisfied with a normal amount of food and some days I could put a college football player to shame. Not sure if its tied to growth spurts or what.
This would be Frosted Animal Cookie (Carousel cookies) frozen custard! Real huge chunks of the cookies in there!. Probably the best ice cream/custard I've eaten in a LONG time!
@MoonOverGoldsboro and@aharv77 sorry to tease you guys, it was a flavor of the day from a local place- Murfs. It was mighty tasty, DH actually brought home two pints and I'm trying to be very well behaved around it!
@stephcat421 NOOOOOOO I NEED that!! Those are my fave!! Wahhhhh I need to find that or make some or something. Now I'm on a mission. Like I probably would have drove to Wisconsin for realsssss
@stephcat421 it triggered my need for ice cream after I got off work. And it wasn't even that good! Not a lot of options after 10pm. It wasn't creamy like I remember McD ice cream. More like ice milk from a Chinese buffet. Fear not, I still finished them both.
I’m definitely not going to starve with all this food. But I’m really hoping MH wakes up soon and brings me a bagel from Ess-A-Bagel. Totally pulling the pregnant wife in the hospital card!
