We haven't done one of these in a while so I thought it would be fun on a Monday morning. Also, selfishly started because I just want ALL the sweets. In particular chocolate ice cream. It's a problem.

I'm hitting the cheeseburgers pretty heavily. I'm sticking to the good quality stuff not fast food/processed stuff. Other than that I'm eating healthy so whatever.
I'm cooking shrimp stir fry tonight, so it's not a daily habit .
Last week I was hardly hungry and ate late lunch every day and a tiny dinner - today I'm wishing I had brought more food to work.
The one thing out of the ordinary for me has been skittles. I just want to eat all of the skittles. And normally I'm more of a chocolate person, but it hasn't been that appealing while pregnant.

We had some family drama Friday night, so DH and I ate all our feelings this weekend. Bad habit, I know, but we were both so emotionally drained that anything other than donuts, tacos and takoyaki just were too much effort. And by donuts, I do mean plural, we went out and bought a box of all my favorites and we plowed through them, in a day, and we have zero shame about it. I figure we'll eat a lot of veggies this week, it's all about balance right?
If I could eat pancakes and waffles for every meal, I would. However, with a 1.5lb weight gain every week for the month of March, I've decided that salads HAVE to be on the menu more often than not. (Typing this as I'm choking down steamed collard greens and pretending they are an Eggo)
@foxbaby2016 have you seen the video of the little girl who is crying saying she can't stop thinking about waffles? Your comment made me think of it. lol.
@MrsMiller8588 I am the opposite! I am usually not a big chocolate person, but I have been craving it hard core this pregnancy. That and rainbow sherbet have been my two biggest cravings so far. And spinach salads (luckily--it helps balance out the sugar!)

All the sweets.. Particularly chocolate. Im trying a new black bean gluten free brownie today. DS had some at his playgroup last week and they weren’t terrible. I’m thinking maybe I can sneak some protein or super food powder in there and make them even healthier.. and then top them off with more chocolate chips for good measure. I also bought a ton of fresh veggies to snack on this week. I WILL eat them all before they go bad!
@acunamatada will you let me know how those are? I am in the same boat!! I went on a quest for Brownie Batter dessert hummus over the weekend but couldn't find it. I wanted it to eat with strawberries. Hopefully soon!

@stlmegs will do! That hummus sounds so good, I actually saw that the other day and almost bought it! I’ve been making chocolate “pudding” blending banana, avocado, cocoa powder, and chocolate protein powder together that’s actually pretty good.
I have a recipe for black bean chocolate brownies somewhere, I'll look it up. I bought Hershey's chocolate pudding...so not me...but it's flipping delicious!!!
Everything. My pregnant self is currently eating everything. Ugh. My mom brought over strawberry short cake the other day, we got pierogies from the market yesterday and that’s what I’m having for lunch, I could eat raw broccoli and ranch all day, and my mil gave us a freaking pie. I’m literally eating everything.
Tmi side note, burps from raw broccoli are the WORST!!! Super freaking gross.
@paytonpedro@foxbaby2016 I also am eating all the things. I'm eating what my husband mockingly called a "pre dinner" of spaghetti and meat sauce, I had an avocado sushi roll for actual lunch, I had a smoothie AND a bagel for breakfast and I'm eating a cookie right now. I haven't been incredibly hungry until the last two weeks, so I'm going with balance too...now is just my time to be a hobbit, which was balanced by the many weeks i spent not being able to eat a thing.
I’ve had a snickers almost everyday of the week today was a bad day for food. My oatmeal overflowed this morning all over the microwave and then i dropped my strawberry shake at lunch time getting out of the car. I was able to save some on both occasions but still sad day for yummy food.
Ugh! I can not stop eating Panera chipotle chicken advocato melts. With a blood orange lemonade. I have had it 5/7 days the past week.
I’ve beeb loving Panera’s Roasted turkey avocado BLT! Yum! I think baby boy loves it too bc he’s always super active when I eat it. I’ve never had the blood orange lemonade but it sounds amazing. I may have to add that next time.
@ashbub714 my DH gets that all the time but he calls it the Roasted Turkey BLAT (bacon, lettuce, avocado, tomato). He's ready for dad jokes. The cashier always looks at him like he has 6 heads. I just roll my eyes
I'm currently eating a cookie ice cream sandwich for breakfast. Definitely not healthy!! I did have half a BLAT and a side of snap peas for dinner last night though.
I decided to log into my fitness pal again since we get $1 per day we log into our hsa account. Holy crap I got so little protein yesterday with my random eating. Better step it up... Gonna go for a cheeseburger later, lol
Whataburger happened. So delicious. Definitely sticking to a salad tonight...glad I had it for lunch because I think it would have given me heartburn for dinner...
@kissableviv I haven't had whataburger since I went to South Padre for Spring Break as a sophomore in college but...it was so good. I might have had it every single day for an entire week, in one capacity or another.
I have not had a sweet tooth all pregnancy but it's starting to hit. Been obsessed with Hershey's chocolate pudding...it's actually not tooooo bad nutritionally and better than Jello stuff.
Coffee and I are becoming friends again. I've missed coffee SOOOOOO much! Still unable to drink a full cup, however just the taste of it in my mouth provides me with such extreme joy and happiness.
@zombiehoohaa Coffee is life. I couldn't stand the smell of it for months. I was so happy when I could get back to it. LO seems to know when I'm gonna have my one cup a day because he gets all bouncy. I think he likes it.
I can officially eat chicken again. Thank goodness. That has been such a pain because chicken has always been our go-to for easy protein here. I still can't cook it myself without consequences, but H can throw it on the grill and I finally have no aversion to eating it plain.
@noideawhatshesdoing ditto on the chicken!! We had bbq chicken on Monday night for the first time since during the 1st tri when we were making chicken and veggies and I almost puked at the smell. Hadn't been able to eat plain chicken since.
