@beachbunnyxo123 I'm so sorry. It's such a devastating loss, especially after all we've been through. It's terrible that on top of everything else, IF sufferers have to add the financial stress of treatments. ***TW*** Unfortunately, I started bleeding last night so I may be right behind you. Just waiting for the results of my second beta today. I had really hoped things would turn out better for both of us this cycle.

Omg, guys. I think the lab screwed up the first time and I wasnt actually pregnant. Just got my second beta back and it was <1. I doubt it would go from 54 to 0 in 48 hours. Also, it makes sense that the HPTs were all negative then. I had my blood tested at an outside lab not at my clinic. I'll see what my RE says today. I actually am somewhat relieved to just have an answer (even if there was a screw up) than to be going through limbo or a 3rd loss. Ugh, what a couple of days!

Thanks, ladies. Definitely a whirlwind of emotions. That 24 hours I thought I was pregnant before I started bleeding was great, lol. I mean, best case scenario would have been to be KU with a healthy babe, but I'll take a lab screw up over another loss any day, so I'm actually feeling pretty OK. I called my clinic this morning. Just waiting on a call back to see what they say. Hoping to move forward with another FET this cycle.

@tosh24 how many embies do you have on ice? They were all PGS tested right? Is your RE gonna change anything about your transfer med protocol? What were you on this cycle? I just had another beta today to make sure it’s negative but I haven’t actually started bleeding yet. RE said it will probably be 2-4 days from when I stopped my PIO.
@beachbunnyxo123 I have 8 untested embryos left. I fought with insurance for 8 months to have them process a predetermination of what IVF expenses would be covered under my plan (I have partial fertility coverage) and after escalating the issue to management, I finally heard back that my plan fully covers PGS testing the day AFTER my embryos were frozen. I do not want to risk thawing and refreezing so we're just leaving them untested. I did a natural FET this cycle (monitor for ovulation + trigger) and I liked it way better than the medicated cycle (Estrace + progesterone) that I was on for my Feb FET. This next FET I'm either going to try Lupron (don't want to do Depot so hopefully my RE will let me do daily injects) for a couple of months and then transfer in May, or try a Femara cycle with trigger and progesterone as that protocol has also shown promise for endo sufferers. Just waiting to hear back from my clinic.

@tosh24 how was the natural cycle? I did estrace and PIO injections this cycle. It wasn’t bad but I just hate meds. This was my first transfer. Since we’re back to the drawing board we’re also figuring out a new protocol for ER since I didn’t respond well to antagonist. I feel like it’s good to have so many options and at the same time hard to know which to choose
had been avoiding the boards for two weeks since my D&C, but think i may be starting AF which seems incredibly fast... after reading other boards, i though i'd popped over here to say hello to old friends.
was able to catch up on the beta drama that @tosh24 had to experience!! oh man, that would have been a huge roller coaster of emotions... but i agree with you that it's less hard to deal with a non-pregnancy than a loss. i also saw that none of your embryos were tested and i'm in the same boat. I have five frosties and wasn't counseled that it would be difficult to test them after being frozen... i'm still waiting on the testing results from my D&C but I'm actually hoping they say nothing was chromosomally abnormal bc then it would just make me anxious about the five on ice. i'll likely be on your next FET board!
@beachbunnyxo123 so sorry to see that your transfer didn't take this time... i'll be your FET buddy in the coming months too.
@marfi236 i'm sooooo excited to see your positive betas! when is your first u/s? fx for healthy growth! also major sadness about the failed embryo storage... i saw two different stories about the failures in two different clinics! apparently there is a non-zero chance that it could happen! glad they're willing to cover the cost of your next ER.
@chillvazz good to see your in the TWW! fx for a sticky embaby!
@northbeach3 So good to see you around again! Hope your feeling ok post d&c.

@tosh I can’t believe what you went through. I’m glad you have some snow babies & hopefully they will let you use 2 next time to increase your chances!
@northbeach3 I’m sorry you are back these boards. I really appreciated everything you did for us in the Jan IVF, I still look at the speadsheet sometimes & I’m planning to update it once I get my beta!
AFM my after transfer wait has been unexpected. The first 4 days after transfer I felt sick like a head cold and just exhausted. Luckily I was able to just sit around, sleep & watch tv. I started feeling better on Tuesday. The excitement of possibly pregnancy is keeping me awake at night, so I need to work on that. Everything else is going well.
@beachbunnyxo123 I'm sorry about your chemical. Your numbers were almost identical to mine. I hope your doctors come up with a better ER protocol, so you can get a lot of eggs!
@tosh24 Wow I cannot believe that it's possible they gave you an inaccurate HCG result. I also find it hard to believe it dropped from 50+ to <1 in 2 days. I have done 3 natural FETs, and they all resulted in chemicals. I'm just starting my first medicated transfer protocol (only on BCP right now). I am doing a Lupron protocol, and will hopefully have a transfer the first week of May. I'd love to hear what protocol you end up going with as it looks like we may have transfers around the same time.
@chillvazz Oh, I hope you get good news when you get a great HCG result - we need some more good news on this board!

Today is 8dp6dt & the line got just a little darker!!! It’s still early but I’ll Continue testing.
@tosh24, omg I would have gone completely crazy by now...you are a powerhouse for being so strong...hopefully the next one is the best one! @northbeach3 oh no, I just came to check in on everyone and saw your name...I am so sorry for your loss... @chillvazz , tww wait is brutal...hopefully there is a rainbow at the end.
I got my AG on 3/19...now doing ultrasounds and daily bloodwork and waiting for the other big O!...but this is torture...just want to know when it's going to happen...
@SingleGeneMe I also started a Lupron protocol. I've been on it for a few days now. I actually just called my clinic because I'm having shortness of breath and a fast heartbeat since starting injections. They're listed under the "call your doctor" category in the side effect pamphlet so I'm concerned. I did a bit of a Google search and it looks like there have been reports of young girls dying from heart issues while on Lupron so kind of scary. I'm glad I asked about taking the daily injections rather than the 1x/month Depot shot. I have a feeling I'll be taking this cycle off (TI still probably) and transfer beginning of May (I'll be asking for a Femara protocol).

@tosh wow girl you are really getting it rough! This is such a hard thing to go though without all the extras. Just don’t give up, it took us 9 years to get our daughter (we were dragging our feet a little) But once it happens it’s all worth it!!!
My HCG is 14, I had my OBGYN do a blood drawl last Thursday, HCG was 11 on Thursday. So I’m real sure this is a chemical pregnancy. I get my next drawl on Wednesday. I still have 3 Frozen embies.
Hi everyone. I’m new here but not new to IVF. I have premature ovarian failure so hubs and I are using donor eggs. We’ve done the following cycles: 1. Mock cycle 2. ERA cycle - determined I’m receptive later than normal, so using progesterone to correct. 3. Fresh IVF - BFN 4. Frozen - cancelled before transfer due to mucus in my uterus 5. FET - CP 6. We transfer our final embryo this Thursday. As you can see, I’ve had a few hiccups. And at every transfer, it’s always relatively painful and lengthy. I’m thinking that may be part of my issues. To make matters worse, at my 1 week before transfer appt last week, my labs showed that my estradiol was only 150 even though my lining was a 9. I’ve never had low estradiol before. Have any of you?

@tosh24 - Wow, that really sucks the lab likely screwed up but at the same time I get where it's a relief not to be experiencing another loss. Hope you get some answers and get a plan so you can do another FET soon. I hope the 3rd time is the charm for you!!
Dx: PCOS

Rainbow baby due 12/2021 - Team Green
had been avoiding the boards for two weeks since my D&C, but think i may be starting AF which seems incredibly fast... after reading other boards, i though i'd popped over here to say hello to old friends.
was able to catch up on the beta drama that @tosh24 had to experience!! oh man, that would have been a huge roller coaster of emotions... but i agree with you that it's less hard to deal with a non-pregnancy than a loss. i also saw that none of your embryos were tested and i'm in the same boat.

Spoiler
I’ve been POAS since 2dp6dt & 2 days ago AM I saw something different on Wondfo, maybe an evap line. Tested again PM it was still barely there but darker. Went & bought First Responce 6 Day Early not the digi & got a light pink line!!! Wanted to retest yesterday & this AM before posting about my test addiction. Today is 8dp6dt & the line got just a little darker!!! It’s still early but I’ll Continue testing.

My Rainbow Baby Boy born 03Jan2019
My HCG is 14, I had my OBGYN do a blood drawl last Thursday, HCG was 11 on Thursday. So I’m real sure this is a chemical pregnancy. I get my next drawl on Wednesday. I still have 3 Frozen embies.
1. Mock cycle
2. ERA cycle - determined I’m receptive later than normal, so using progesterone to correct.
3. Fresh IVF - BFN
4. Frozen - cancelled before transfer due to mucus in my uterus
5. FET - CP
