I was telling mh tonight about the ttgp board organization, how the daily threads and the grad threads work, what drivebys are, and about proper etiquette. Of course I was using a lot of acronyms. After listening for awhile, he says, "So baby, last night when I was on my man fertility boards, there was a DP (you know designated penis) named Bob who got on and started bragging about his sperm. We all said, (he snapped his fingers) "Oh no he diii dint!". Then I told him how he best go over to his SCBB (you know sperm count bragger board)!"

@suzycupcake - fffc I'm looking up man fertility boards because I can't tell if your H is being serious or just really really funny. Now I need answers. Also about to lurk the shit out of them if this in fact is a real thing.

ETA I have no idea why I didn't think it would exist. A. Probably Because I didn't even know TB existed or chat boards existed until July. I'm so uncool and technologically challenged. I'm a newb

Tonight H and I are going on a proper, planned date! We go out for dinner on a whim sometimes but rarely plan our dates in advance. We’re going to an art show then a comedy club

@prpl11butterfly Right?! I think the last time we planned something in advance was December for holiday shows and parties. So usually just special events, not random date nights.

AFM- I can't seem to get over this stupid cold that I've had for 1.5 weeks now and I still feel horrible. I'll probably just be laying around the house all day because of it, so no big plans for us this weekend.

Is there any (resonably priced) brand of jeans that caters to those with thick thighs/calves? If i buy jeans that fit my waist, they are tight in the legs and I'm constantly pulling them up because they don't want to strech. If I buy them to fit my legs, they are too big in the waist and I have a saggy a$$ (NO THANK YOU). I'm going nuts!

@prpl11butterfly I’m not sure what you consider reasonable but Silver jeans have a lot of different styles including ones most definitely cater to the curves! Just don’t get discouraged if you don’t like the first or second pair you try on, there are a lot of different fits.
(I used to sell jeans..)

@prpl11butterfly I haven't gotten their jeans personally, only a dress, but eshakti.com does jeans and you can order them to your custom measurements for $10 extra. I love the dress I have from them and I've heard good things about the jeans.

@prpl11butterfly My #1 favorite jeans are silvers. They are pretty expensive but great quality. I used to buy mine for half off at Gordmans but they changed ownership last year and don't sell them any more. I did recently buy my second pair of Denizen Levis jeans from Target for only $8 on sale. I am in love with these ones too. Very comfortable and stretchy.

$8?! That's a great price! I looked at Silver last night and see they sell them at Maurices. I'm willing to spend more if they last and are comfortable. I really hate how generic woman's jeans are. Not all who need size 9 are size 9 from the waist down

I took these all for you from our yards in hopes they bring a smile to your face.

This crazy mushroom grew out of the soil under our rose tree. We are trying to decide if we can fry it up in a pan and have a good time or not

This in the bottom pot is an Icelandic poppy. I goofed and put both of these plants in this cool little antique looking thing. I checked the tag after I planted them and it seems they’ll both need to be in a planter box because they need more space than I gave. I don’t remember what the other plant is. Maybe an azalea.

@SkilledSailor No he’s in the ground. I think mh planted a meyer. He looks like an alien right now because I haven’t yet learned how I’m supposed to prune it to make it look more like a tree. It looks like he might be lifting his branches up off of the ground now. It used to be they were all weighted.

@suzycupcake Whoah! That’s a much bigger tree than I was expecting. For now, we’re thinking a smaller one in a large planter so we can take it with us to our next (hopefully long term) house then plant it there.

My pupper swollowed a squeaker last week, and had to get emergency surgery due to it blocking his digestive system. A little over $1200 later...he is doing great! This little turd. I watch him like a HAWK now with all his toys.

I worked a 4am-12pm shift at work. Stocking and re-doing plano-grams. I really like it because it's dark and quiet and I can listen to my podcasts as I work. Waking up at 3am to go to work wasn't as fun though...

Anyone like Pho? I AM CRAVING IT LIKE MAD! I ate my homemade lunch, but seriously considered going to get Pho too. But decided to be a good person (as we are working on our finances) and didn't get anything. I AM MAKING A PHO BUDGET FOR NEXT MONTH.

@SkilledSailor Well he has had about two years in the ground. Mh got a pretty big one to begin with to plant because he's the most impatient person I know. He also planted a pomegranate bush and a blood orange tree. The blood orange is the slowest grower ever. We just got a hefty amount of rain over the past week so it has thickened up in foliage. I'm excited that hopefully we will see even one bloom this spring!

I'm so glad your puppy is okay. When I didn't hear back from you, I thought something bad happened so I prayed. Omg I lurrrrrrrrve pho! We should learn how to make it and report back to each other. My mama is coming to visit on the 10th! She has never had pho or ramen. Can you believe it???? When I asked her if she has ever had ramen, she immediately told me about the ole ramen packaged soups she eats. I was like oh hell no! We need to fix that for sure! Also, GM has been missing you, I'm sure, but don't worry! I've been visiting him for you too

I think I'm the only one in the world who doesn't like pho. I've had it twice from two different places and I think it's disgusting.

@BusinessWife In Canada Toronto or BC are definitely the best places to get PHO! I'm on the east coast so not quite as many options out this way.

@suzycupcake You should totally take her to get Pho!! (honestly, I have never had quality ramen, so I am on that boat too...hahah) And I am WAY to scared to ever try to make it. It is super complicated, and It just will never taste like the experts, so I don't even want to try. haha.

@offtoneverland OMG REALLY?! Ohhh It's sooo good. There was a time I wasn't really into it. I would go to a vietnamese restaurant with my bestie all the time, and just got rice dishes, but they would bring a small bowl of the pho broth, and I didn't like it at first, but one time it just CLICKED and I was hooooked. I get the meatball pho and add hoisin sauce for some sweet and sriracha to make it spicy! My mouth is watering so bad right now. haha!
@BusinessWife Yeah it's one of those things that you just have to search, and try different places. There are a ton here in DFW. Unfortunately since I moved out in the country a bit, the closest one is about 25 minutes, when I used to have like 3 within 10 minutes. lol. I think it's worth the drive!
@izza2 Bucket list! Get some! It changed my life, it's crazy that a simple (but very difficult to make) bowl of noodles and beef can be so amazing. It has a lot to do with the slow cooking and the spice bags they use!

Chiming in on the pho love! It is my favorite thing to eat when I have a cold. Sometimes I will literally just drink the broth by itself. So delicious and soothing to a sore throat!

Also, just realized it is not the weekend anymore but anyway, hi! *waves*
