@mrsa2017 @sp128 oh my goodness, it is so amazing having this little one around! tiring, and I get nothing else done, but her face is everything! i haven't changed my clothes since yesterday, and i have baby puke in my hair, but so worth it!

@hopeful_mom I had an insane labor experience. They induced me on 2/26 since my BP was high still and I was swelling a lot, then in a span of 24 hours they gave me cytotec, then pitocin, then did a foley pump, and finally broke my water. less than an hour after the water breaking I needed an epidural which they were skeptical to do bc they thought I had another day until delivery, but 45 minutes later I was pushing 5 times and baby was out!!! dilated about 8 cm in an hour. So she was 9 days early. We are trying to BF but she's kind of lazy and doesnt like to work too hard to get food, so I'm pumping and supplementing with formula when needed. Literally nothing goes as planned I've learned!!!!! Watching hubby be a father is just the best feeling in the world. He is so smitten!

@KZ1126 wow way to go mama! I hear all these stories and after a day of inducing why dont they do a c-section? Is that crazy thinking on my part? Just seems like so much drugs and torture! Surprised they didn't break your water sooner. All of this is so unknown but thrilled your boobs are making milk for the babe even if it has to be from the bottle - thats great! Hoping my boobs will make some too when the time comes

@sp128 Luckily the weather is clearing up so I'm hoping it wont interfere with having to go to the MFM tomorrow. Almost 28 weeks and I can't believe how much sleeping and bending is such an issue. My hip can barely take an hour on one side and I already have to flip over so getting sleep isn't easy I feel like I nap a lot...and its still so early so that freaks me out a bit!! I hope you don't need to be induced and things go smoothly!

yayyyyy @sp128 !!!!!!! you're going to have a baby this weekend!!!!!!! induction isn't SO bad, just bring some activities in case it takes a long time.... I stared at the ceiling for a lot of hours because of course I didn't think ahead.... I did pack a huge bag of snacks, that I got to watch my husband eat since they cut me off from food as soon as they started the induction. not ideal.

@Hopeful_mom did you happen to try out the snoogle pillow??? I got one around 28 weeks and it was a godsend. it got a little easier to sleep in my 8th month, and I got a burst of energy for a few weeks as well, hope you get that too! water aerobics helped a lot as well. You're getting close!

@KZ1126 I packed some things for entertainment. Watching your dh snack doesn’t sound like fun. I have this whole pesky gestational diabetes to worry about too

I’m going to be so bummed if they don’t have room for me saturday morning. After the initial shock I’m ready to roll !!

Soooo appointment was today! Both of our embryos implanted but only one developed. We saw the second sac but no baby

Our other little miracle is safe where it is supposed to be and we heard the heartbeat

We are thankful for our little blessing and we look forward to the next 9 months. Doc told me to come back in a week and a half tho so we can see a little more. He is estimating I’m 5w4d by my ET date but I’m getting 6w2d by my LMP date. He said Baby A is measuring at 6 weeks tho. That’s my girl or boy lol

@mrsa2017awesome hearing the heartbeat isn’t it the most amazing sound? I cried after all of my early ultrasounds. Did they say that the other embryo may catch up ?

i had my membranes swept yesterday afternoon. Oh my goodness. Ouch.

@SP128 there is nothing like it! He said no but the ultrasound was so blurry that I barely saw Baby A. I knew what to look for and thank God for that. My poor DH was lost. I’m hoping to see more in a week or so when I go back.

What’s a membrane sweep? I cringed reading ouch.

@mrsa2017 it’s when the dr reaches their hand into you, pokes through the cervix With their finger to separate the sac from the cervix I think. The cervix is still way up there for me so I think she tapped my sternum.

@mrsa2017 hey!!! You scared me putting a sad face when all I should see is smily faces lady

You heard a heart beat thats amazing!!! Especially under 6wks kudos. My RE did as well but not all do and then you have to wait longer. I so badly wanted my twins and had both taken away. Theres a reason baby B did not stick and thats so Baby A can thrive and be your take home miracle! I'm overjoyed for you!!

I laugh at how much sleep you dont get during pregnancy and I know its only going to get worse. My poor hips and then needing to go tinkle. I'm already having sleepless nights

So happy to finally be in this trimester!

We welcomed Adam James to our family yesterday 3/18. After lots of drama, he was born via “non emergency” c section. Our baby is finally here

I’m so sorry I am MIA so much. I am sick ALL.DAMN.DAY!!! Help meeee! I feel so bad some days that I want to cry. Nothing seems to be helping. The only good thing is I’m not actually vomiting. I loooong for second trimester!

@mrsa2017 girrrllllllll I feel u! If u remember it was so hard for me to keep up on any boards at all!! I first starting feeling better after 5 months and I was throwing up not that it makes u feel better just want u to know you're not alone?
Are u able to drink water? Ginger ale? I will say I did drink soda and seltzer with lemon in the beginning to get some fluids in me. Try Ice cold water, that helped me get some water down....it wasn't easy!!
i also kept crackers and pretzels by my bed. Every couple of hours I would eat a few to help. It sux as I never wanted to eat BUT also felt sicker not eating. It was a vicious cycle! Hope u start feeling some relief soon!

@hopeful_mom enjoying third trimester? I am taking this pregnancy one day at a time. I have tried EVERYTHING I feel like... some days things work and some days it doesn’t.

But guess whaaaaat?! We had an appointment today and there are two babies! We were so shocked! We was settling into just having one and being excited about that but when we saw another baby with a strong heartbeat we could not believe it. OMG I’m having twins.... someone pinch me!

@mrsa2017 WHOAH!!!! what an amazing surprise congrats mama!! I'm sure the drs r telling u that's why ur so sick even though I wasn't just as sick with one as I was with two so go figure. I far long are u now?

im sick with a teerible cold and just had a birthday so good times all around ha!!! My throat was on fire for too long so I had to
go to the dr. Thank goodness no strep or fever so I have to hope it stays that way! Just sucks that I can't take anything for it!

Now 30 weeks and couldn't be happier to be at this point!! I'm huge now I do sit and wonder where the other one was suppose to go

Hoping u will have some relief soon! It wasn't until month 5 that I had any so I'm not helpful BUT I kno 2 others preggers with twin and
they fee great go figure!!

@Hopeful_mom I’m mad I missed your birthday but happy belated love. May this new year be more than you expected and blessed beyond measure. So I guess the nasty bug is traveling worldwide to all the pregnant women because now I am suffering from stuffy and runny nose (w bleeds), and a terrible cough that hurts when I do it. I am 8w3d today! Pizza sounds so good right now lol.. How big is peanut? You are definitely in the last stage of pregnancy. I found something called gravinate that helps with the nausea but it makes me so sleepy. I cried myself to sleep the other day after my mini break down and hubby rubbed my back. Just a few more weeks, just a few more weeks

@mrsa2017 crying during pregnancy girl I hear u!! And it sux as we've waited so long to get hear!! I'm sorry ur suffering and hopefully it will get better soon!! It's so hard when ur hurting and it's trial and error as to what can help u find relief!
I had to sleep elevated! And always needed something in my belly to take my pills! With the nausea throwing up doesn't bring u relief so it sux whether u do it don't!!
tell hubs to rub u more that can actually help!!

Gonna pee myself. Thanks for the bday wishes I'm pregnant and that's what matters most!

omg @mrsa2017 - just catching up and craaazy there are TWINS!!! yayyyy!!!!!!! I'm loving motherhood and this chubbyfaced little munchkin, but I'm also exclusively pumping so I'm getting a littttle tired.
I agree - pizza is definitely a pregnancy staple.... and i still have it like 3 times a week haha

How is everyone doing? And how the babies, in and out of the womb?
I was just thinking about how this mother's day is going to be so much different from previous and very exciting!
I am finally seeing light at the end of this first trimester tunnel. I am 11 weeks today, yaaaay! I get to see my little limes this Friday! I'm excited to see them moving around. Guess who is starting to show?! Yikes!!!!! I am still struggling with food preferences and nausea but it is getting easier. What is going on in your worlds? I feel almost like a stranger since I haven't been on in so long lol.

@mrsa2017 "little lime" I love it! We are doing great : ) He is going to be one month tomorrow ( I can't believe it). I still get emotional sometimes to think that he is actually here). Mother's Day will definitely be different this year in such a good way. Just a year ago I wasn't in a very good place and it was an emotionally tough May for me. You are almost out of the first trimester. Time is flying (when you aren't the one pregnant).

Glad your little limes are doing well. 11 weeks. Hooray! Glad your nausea is getting better. Mine has made an evil come back at 32 weeks tomorrow. I am even vomiting again, hopefully that doesn't happen to you. Happy you get to see them on Friday. I don't get to see this little guy until 35 weeks now. Feels like forever away, but he is always swimming around and punching me in the sides haha.

I can't believe how far along all you ladies are, and that my bub is 2 months next week! Last year really was such a different time for all of us. Last year we were just starting to prepare for the next step which was ivf. I still get emotional sometimes thinking about everything we went through to get here, but my how life has changed for the better!!

@SP128 One Month Already, woah! Lol I'm so close to second trimester that I can feel myself enjoying it already.. I just can't wait to start enjoying this pregnancy. Everyday I tell my husband " we are having twins," I must be still trying to convince myself. I don't want to rush through this just in case this is the only two we decide to have. Husband says depending on the sexes we'll revisit that discussion. Whatever the Lord wants for us is what we'll do. I'm just so excited! I have to do our official announcement to extended family in a few weeks. I can't hide for much longer because I'm showing already.

@Holls214 Just when you thought you were done with sickness. When do you start going to your OB for weekly checkups? The kicking is something I am waiting for.

@KZ1126 Two months already! I remember when they were in the womb lol. So much can change in just a year and thank God it has, we will never take anything for granted. Happy Early Mother's Day! We should celebrate all month long kml. Your diabetes went away right?

Question: Were any of you considered high risk because of IVF?

AFM: 33wks today exciting I'm in the single digit count down! Nausea creeps back in occasionally which is annoying but I manage as best as I can. I still haven't done a registry BUT I did go on my tour for the hospital the other day so I'm sort of ready right

All my mom tells my belly is to keep cooking lil one and to stay put
