  • I hope everyone is doing well where they are in their cycles! I’m getting very nervous and anxious about another issue popping up with this cycle and wanted to check in with everyone and make sure you guys were alright!
  • I have my ERA tomorrow so will be good to get that over with !
  • @knottie7777- good luck today!! I hear you on getting it over with :) My ERA is on wed... assuming i get the green light today.. The tech wouldn't really give me a lining number, so now I'm a little worried. It was 7.6mm last week and they added more estrogen. So I am just hoping its over 8 which should be fine for my ERA. Is this your first or second ERA?

    @radmom27- how was beta # 2 yesterday?!

  • @JamieH2000, my lining last week was 13 mm so they had me start the 6 nights of progesterone after that . This was my second ERA . Wasn’t too bad since I took one Ativan first ,  def not the funnest doctors appointment . Should have results in a couple of weeks . Good luck at yours ! I’ve been trolling the donors online daily to see if we can hopefully find someone in the next couple of months .
  • @knottie7777- Glad its over with! They don't give me any drugs for it. Last time they had to do two biopsies to make sure they got enough. Hopefully one time will be enough this time! My lining was 9.3 (though the tech entered it incorrectly at 7.3 and the RE had to check the scan herself!). Just to be safe I am now doubling my estrogen pills. But we start PIO at 11am and our ERA is exactly 4 days later. Were you pre-receptive on your first ERA?

  • @JamieH2000 yes I was prereceptive last time so on the next cycle we just put embryo back in after day 6 and I got pregnant , but then had a miscarriage . So they think it was the right day but just want to make absolutely sure before we get to transfer stage again.

radmom27- great news on your second beta !

  • @radmom27 Very pleased to see we are moving in the right direction.  Fingers crossed for more good news.  xo

  • @radmom27 so glad to hear such great numbers! I am so happy for you! Gives me warm feelings for you and lots of hope for the rest of us! Yay!

@knottie7777 glad your ERA went well! Hoping you can relax (as much as possible) until the results come back! With good news of course!

@JamieH2000 How are you hanging in there waiting for Wednesday?! Also, how is the PIO treating you this time? I’ve had you on my mind!!

AFM I’m still chugging away with estrogen patches and Lupron! My appointment is Monday which is the one we’ve never made it past and gotten the go ahead to start PIO for transfer so DH and I are a nervous wreck hoping that this is it and we get a real shot this time! No more road blocks!! I don’t know if I’ll be more excited to move on to transfer or to be able to stop the Lupron! Haha I’ll keep you ladies updated! It makes me happy to see everyone is good spirits and praying for nothing but happy updates from everyone from here on out!
  • @rachelh0912 Good luck with your Monday appt!!  This is your cycle...I can feel it.
AFM...beta #3 wasn't as definitive as the first two and went up to 646 (doubling would have been 718).  I have my next beta scheduled on Monday.  If it's above 1000, I can have an ultrasound the week of 3/26.  I'm feeling very very very nervous.  I've already started getting attached to the thought of having a little bean and will be so upset if this bean doesn't stick.  Sigh.  Always a rollercoaster.

radmom27 - We're all thinking of you!  Those still sounds like promising numbers to me but I get that you're nervous. Hopefully you'll get more good news here soon.

rachelh0912 - Good luck tomorrow!  Sending good thoughts your way and hoping you can finally move forward!  Keep us posted of course.

AFM I am still on lupron but my progestrone has been slightly elevated so I could not start estrogen last week. Going in tomorrow (Monday) and hopefully get the go ahead to start estrogen.  Nurse says April 4th still might be an option and they'd just do an abbreviated estrogen prep. Not sure how I feel about that but I'll see what they say about that/what the schedule would be.
  • @rachelh0912- so excited for you tomorrow and crossing everything you only get good news!!

@radmom27- I know I would feel the same as you and want doubling or more every 48, but they do say it’s really 48-72, so you are def in the range... I know... but still. hoping for a super high number tomorrow you give you some reassurance!!

@chitown18- reallt hope you aren’t delayed!! Do they schedule transfers so you can’t just push it back a few days? Hoping to hear good news for you tomorrow!

  • @radmom27 so glad things looked great and put your mind at some ease!! I was thinking about you this morning!

AFM my appointment went terribly wrong. They found 3 large follicles on my left ovary AND another small pocket of fluid (waiting on blood work to confirm all of the info given to me today.) I saw the NP today but she said to be prepared to cancel due to the fluid and potential follicles.. we are devastated. I am so tired of failures AND taking Lupron. We just don’t understand why we can’t get it right! Anyway, I’ll let you ladies know what the blood work shows but it’s canceled none the less. I hope everyone else is doing well and had better luck! I could use some more good news coming from somewhere!
  • YES @radmom27!  That is wonderful!  I'm so happy for you.

@rachelh0912 oh no, I'm really sorry.  I hope you get some answers from the blood work.

@JamieH2000 ERA on Wednesday right?  FX for you that this one is more conclusive.

@radmom27 that’s wonderful news !! So excited for you !

I had my ERA on Thursday , glad it’s over with . Now just need to find a donor , minor details . We are going to go the frozen route so that will save us some time but so far we are being extremely picky.
  • @radmom27 Congratulations! I had every hope that today's count would be good for you. One of my beta draws was slightly less than double, so I know the worry, but you've got this! I really believe this is your time! xo

@rachelh0912 - I am sorry for the unexpected issues that came up in today's appointment. Hoping you get answers and a plan to move forward soon.

I am still keeping up and cheering each of you on... Keep on keeping on, ladies!

    EDD: 1/17/18, it's a GIRL!  <3 E. L. A. born 12/7/2017

  • @radmom27- HECK YES! Couldn't be more excited for you! I can't wait for next week's ultrasound!

@rachelh0912- I am so sorry girl. I can't beleive you have yet another delay. The lupron just doesn't seem to suppress. I am wondering if they can do a natural or stimulated FET? grow the follices and then trigger and transfer 5 days later? Maybe they could do that with this cycle? When I had fluid, they said it can sometimes be caused by high estrogen and once you start progesterone, it often goes away.

  • Thank all of you ladies for the support!! It actually makes such a big difference knowing I can come here and express this to ladies who know exactly what I’m going through. You guys make this process bearable. I can’t thank y’all enough! My RE wants me to be there in the morning for a consultation and I am a nervous wreck. I know this isn’t likely but I’m so afraid he will only have bad news or even tell me there is nothing they can do. I know that’s probably not the case but I’ve learned to expect the worst. He told me tonight not to stop Lupron or my estrogen patches so I have no idea what protocol (if any) he could be planning. I’ve had an emotional day but I  need to go back and read on how each of you ladies are doing! Again, I can’t thank you all enough for being there for me!

Ladies! Just caught up on a bunch of posts and it is so encouraging to see so many of us moving in the right direction as well as being the support for each other that we all need during this process.  In the last 3 months, DH and I have firmed up our decision for DE, but I have some hesitation as to these agencies:

How much interaction did you have with an agency as you were deciding on a donor? I feel like the agency that we are initially speaking with is very nonchalant and hands off which means they aren't pushing us into a decision (which is good) but I am left feeling like I am flying blind.

I have given our top 3 choices to our contact and she basically has kept replying 'great choices, let me know how I can help. ask any question you may have!'... Uh, ok... what if I don't know what questions to ask? Do I ask about medical history? Do I ask about talents?

I gave very easy and simple 'asks' to them (mainly basic biological matching) to see the most possible matches for us.... But still haven't really seen a lot of guidance as far as 'you should go experienced or not', 'you should consider outside biological similarities'.... etc.  ACK. Now I am second guessing contracting a donor and just buying several rounds of frozen eggs.... :/

  • @radmom27 I should get my results in about a week and a half to two weeks . Since I got pregnant after the last ERA I’m thinking after 6 days of progesterone it will come back as receptive .

@cmiller73 I’m sure the other girls on here may be more help because I’m at same stage as you , been bouncing around idea of donor eggs for over a year but moving on it after 7 failed IVF cycles (one miscarriage ), but we are going with frozen donor eggs . Going to get 12 and praying we would get 3-4 embryos from there. We havent found a donor yet either
  • @knottie7777 Since we are OOP, it's such a tough decision. It's either: the high price for 6 frozen eggs (times however many chances we want) OR quadruple the price for a chance to have a BUNCH of eggs all with the same genetic makeup that are yours (albeit with lots of legal mumbo jumbo...) *sigh*
