The eggs at Starbucks are called Sous-vide Egg Bites and y'all should eat all of them because my company supplies them the eggs, though admittedly they are a bit overpriced but we have no say in that. They are great when you are running errands and need a high protein snack and not just a muffin or bar.
THEY ARE SO GOOD AND THANK YOU TO YOUR COMPANY!!!!
I've been digging eating a couple of Belvita biscuits with peanut butter along with a bowl of cereal or plain oatmeal for breakfast lately. Not exciting or anything, but recent mornings I wake up looking forward to it.
Guys, pigged out on chicken Shwarma, Tabouleh, cabbage and babganoush last night. My SIL was up from the US, and can't get Lebanese where she lives, so we get it from a place here that fresh bakes the pita in house. SO GOOD... then had gourmet donut before bed. Luckily I ma heading home to leftovers... Garlic sauce and falafels for the win!

Guys I wish I could quit my job and become a food blogger. Today's shenanigans
The presentation needs some serious help and I always just use easy stuff I have on hand--no hand made dressings and sauces over here. But I really like to find good, easy, yummy stuff. *sigh* Maybe in my next life.
I've been really low on myself about weight cause I only have 6lbs till my top weight with DS (started this pregnancy 10lbs higher though)
yet, I'm back on my McDonald's milkshake craving for tonight. And think it's cause I got the dr weighing out of the way this AM lol. Atleast for a couple wks.

@catlady1215 try to be kind to yourself! I've struggled with this guilt/shame of weight gain too and have really had to tell myself to just trust in the process and the growth of baby! I'm already FAR over what most woman gain for their entire pregnancy. Hang in there and enjoy your milkshake!
@stephcat421 I told myself in the beginning to just go with it. I lost a large chunk last time. Was able to get the motivation to lose weight last spring, so I know i can and what I need to do etc. but watching that ass grow is hard lol. Buuut you might have sold my decision, I want that shake

A kid in my first period is turning 13, so I decided to buy everyone donuts bc I want to eat donuts. It’s a class of 6, I’m not moneybags over here, but sometimes we (me, I need it) need a Thursday treat, right?
@pupsicle23 yes! Donuts are a necessity sometimes. I don't know if Stans in a national company or just Chicago based but I was drooling at their menu the other day and they deliver. I was so close to getting some jist for myself. They have a peanut butter captain crunch one I've been eye balling.
Banana flapjack protein pancakes this morning. If only I could lay off the 17 pieces of Easter candy at work everyday, I'd probably be doing much better in the weight gain department. I have lost all will power. I shove candy in my mouth that I don't even necessarily love.
Continuing the trend, made banana bread yesterday. While DH ate a piece I asked him what he thought of it it and he said "you put a lot of chocolate chips in it!" to which I replied, "Yes and... your point?" #nosuchthingastoomuchchocolate
I'm unexpectedly home tonight because my event tomorrow morning was canceled due to the snow they're predicting. I really want to make beef stroganoff for dinner, but I know the grocery store is going to be a shitshow. Ugh - so torn on what to do!
@doxiemoxie212 I think it is all hype. I swear the weather forecasters just love it because all the attention is on them for a change.
I am happy to report that the grocery store was pretty much empty when I got there. We were in dire need of groceries after being gone so much, so I'm glad I went.
I am still over here riding the avocado toast for breakfast train at least 3 days a week. I thought no one would ever replace my beloved Sara Lee Artisan bread but TJ Sourdough has replaced it.
In less healthy news, cheesecake from the school fundraiser we bought from came in. I don't know how I'll control myself. It's a variety one so like 2 pieces of turtle, 2 coconut, 2 mint chocolate chip, 2 strawberry, etc. I have been better controlling myself with the girl scout cookies---I leave them in my car--but the Easter candy at work gets me for a few pieces daily. Maybe I'll make a deal with myself. If I eat NO candy at work today, I can have a piece when I get off tonight.
AFM I'm addicted to milk this pregnancy. I can't get enough. I ran out this week and last night I started crying because I wanted some so badly. My sweet husband ran out before work this morning and there was a quart bottle from the gas station down the street waiting for me. I've always liked milk, but not quite on this level, i.e. that quart of milk is already gone.
@doxiemoxie212@dinodna3 it's a Cara Cara orange. They must be in season or something because my produce store nearby has had them on sale for the past month and they are so good!
I am eating the shit out of clementines right now. I bought a 3 pound bag to have at home and share with MH. I find myself monitoring the pile to see if it looks like he's eaten any....THOSE ARE MINE! Lol!
We made apple walnut bread today and if I'm honest it's really just delicious cake, lol. Super moist and sweet.
Does anyone have favorite simple baking recipes? I've been baking a lot recently with DS. I'm not happy with the banana bread recipe I've been using (too dry.)

It was majestic and amazing. Downside, it didn't exactly settle in my stomach that well
