Still throwing up on occasion, it seems like there's no rhyme or reason. I'm getting a bit more energy back it seems, or maybe I just got good rest this weekend.
Still no desire for meat. Sleep is better than at the beginning, but varies. DST has me screwed up.
9 weeks and a couple days. I thought I was feeling better however last night, I started throwing up again. And I am so tired. I had to bribe my son with movies and snacks just so I could lay in bed for as long as possible yesterday.
Hello, back pain! Okay- maybe it isn’t pregnancy back pain yet, and I just slept poorly.
I’m still being a picky eater, and dealing with a bit of a sour stomach, but not like I was before.
Bedtime is still too freaking early, but I don’t feel completely wasted if I push past it a bit.
I’m actually in the “thank goodness for DST” camp this time around, because it puts my fur babies breakfast schedule at a more reasonable time. I just wish they would eliminate it altogether...
I thought my MS was improving, but Saturday and Sunday proved me wrong. Still super tired, insomnia (thanks stress). Food aversions, nausea. I’m over it. Last pregnancy I felt better by now.
8w today! I’m starting to feel a little more normal, which does worry me a little. I am still pretty tired by the end of the day and my boobs are still pretty sore, but the little but of nausea I did have seems to have let up. We finally have our first appointment on Wednesday so I am hoping that will relieve some of the anxiety I have been having.
still a lot of the same...sick and so ridiculously tired all the time. but I have had short periods of time over the past few days where the nausea lets up a little. in a way it makes it feel worse when it kicks back in after an hour or so, but it gives me hope that it is starting to lighten up a little and I may start to feel semi-normal again! (and all for a good cause, right? that is my mantra lately...)
and our first OB appt/US is on 3/20 which finally doesn't seem forever away!
Somewhere between 8 and 9 weeks (hopefully) - will confirm on Thursday.
Still feeling pretty darn good minus occasional boob sensitivity. Lack of symptoms continues to not help the anxiety and I really am tempted to call and see if I can move my appointment up, but I know I should probably just wait it out.
9 weeks 6 days. Nausea seems to be a lot less often... and I feel a little less exhausted than the last few weeks... boobs still hurt & seem to get bigger everyday
Nausea is going strong. Trying to keep food down. All I want to do is sleep on the sofa.

@lolo_0924 I feel you with the boobs. Mine are officially heavy enough that my straps are starting to dig into my shoulders. Thank god Soma finally had a sale and I ordered new ones this weekend.
8w today. I feel crummy (nausea, exhaustion, swelling, etc) which are all good signs, but I am a little nervous. I was recently told I have a uterine bleed and my body can either absorb the bleed and everything will be fine, or it can potentially result in a MC. My OB has seen it go both ways and has encouraged me to be positive. Has anyone had experience with this? TIA!
@knottieamusements I can see that happening, all sorts of things change color and size. I get pregnancy lips! My lips got really full last time. It's one of things I'm looking forward too.
7w+6d Sickness is more up and down instead. Instead of being meh all day I’ll be ok for and then non functional and then ok again. Learned I need to eat something between dinner and bedtime or I’ll puke in the morning. Still hate most food besides red meat, garbage fast food, and some carbs.
My fingernails are growing like crazy and somehow every pair of clippers in the house are lost. But my laziness keeps from looking for them too hard while also keeping from going to the store to buy new ones. Great combo.
7wks1d, my futon mattress below my desk is my new best friend. If my desk backing didn't go all the way to the ground I don't know what I'd do. To bad there's not a billable code for "growing a human inside me."
My nausea isn't bad - or more accurately I think I don't notice it that much because I don't have a strong stomach to begin with so I'm used to being nauseous a lot. But the vomiting started this weekend, so that's fun.
Some light spotting but doc isn't concerned. Next appt next Tues 3/20.
Age 32, FTM, cis-hetero, married since 11-2016. Love is love is love is love.
8 weeks 4 days. Overwhelming symptom this week is dizziness. All day every day. Super fun with my intense morning sickness.
Ladybug - April 2013 Dandelion - October 2018 Angel "Aurora" - July 2020 Angel "Sawyer" - May 2021 Angel "Maxine" - January 2022 Angel "Violet" - March 2022 Baby Dove due March 2023
9w4d - I felt pretty normal all weekend. My nausea has been super mild and sporadic anyway, but it was strange not feeling anything and my stomach hasn't been as stretchy feeling. So of course, had me a little anxious. But don't worry, I've felt crappy again today!
I would also really, really enjoy a good poop. And then a long nap.
8weeks and some days-ish (first U/S is Thursday so hopefully will have a firmer due date after that) - still super tired by about 8pm and on and off mild nausea and sore breasts. Overall feeling pretty good and way less symptoms than I had with my other two which I’m trying not to assume is a sign that something is wrong...can’t wait to see a heartbeat!
10w3d Headaches are so real, back pain probably due to a crappy bed, and such a messed up sleeping schedule im exhausted... I get about 3 hours then I'm up for 4 then I sleep through the morning sometimes 3 or 4 hours
@cdepperschmidt Yep, that's sciatica. I had it multiple times with DD. That's actually the #1 thing I'm hoping doesn't happen again because it's miserable and I couldn't even get out of bed or off the couch. My only advice is to keep moving. I noticed it would be worse if I sat for a long time.
@cdepperschmidt there are some good stretches you can do that might help.. doing yoga regularly helped mine +having a standing desk at work but now that I've been too nauseous to be active it's been acting up again. YouTube stretching or yoga for sciatica, there are lots of vids!
9w1d I woke up today from the most restful night sleep I’ve had since before getting my BFP. I have had Zero nausea since yesterday morning, can actually drink water, have energy, and lost 2 pounds over the weekend. So, you know, I’m majorly freaking out. Dr. Google is not giving me peace of mind.
9w4d I am so over the nausea and puking. My weekend was a total write off. Nothing sounds good to eat, ever. Also exhausted and the headaches are getting worse.
With DS I magically felt amazing at 14 weeks, I really hope that's the case again or sooner! Can't take this much longer!
@mesamyt if it's any consolation, my few symptoms calmed down for nearly a week before they made sure to let me know that they were not, in fact, gone. keep your head up and the google at bay
@chopchop25 Believe me. I’m enjoying the the symptom vacation while I can. I have to teach 4 days (16 classes) instead of my usual one day AND all of my kids are on spring break. I thing the universe is trying to give me a much needed break.
I can’t quit Google. That’s like asking me to give up chocolate.
10W 6D the headaches have stuck around and the boob soreness but everything else is fading. Oh except the tiredness. I’ve also found on days I manage to get up and run in the morning (like twice...)I feel nauseous the rest of the day. Maybe relayed to hydration.
@chopchop25 I think I’ve had some of those upper stomach pains. Mine felt like indigestion and maybe gas? But still crampy. Not a fun new surprise.
My nausea has vanished, too, and it's messing with my head. I just had a fantastic ultrasound yesterday, so I'm working hard to convince myself that nothing had changed since then, but it's hard! I'm only 7+3, so it doesn't make sense for nausea to ebb at this point.
***TW*** DD born April 2015 after many rounds of IVF and losses.
I'm just beyond exhausted. Nausea has picked up a lot this weekend. This weekend was pretty rough in general. Thank goodness for a helpful husband. I marvel at women who can do this alone! I also havent been sleeping great.
@cdepperschmidt ugh, yes. I had that with my first. It's the WORST. The only thing that helped me was yoga. But it helped A LOT. So I highly recommend it. I am so sorry you are dealing with that!
