Up bright and early to fly to Disney with the girls and my mom while DH is skiing. It's going to be a whole thing. It is crazy how much you need to pack for a 5 day trip when you have a 2.5 year old and a 9 month old in tow.
I’m up early because DS insists on being up before 6 am saying he’s hungry and then refuses to eat. Sometimes I wonder why I’m having another kid because that means I get to have another three year old in a few years
The good news is that DH and I have a day date to see Rent downtown. Can’t wait!!
I've been awake most of the night groaning and rolling around in bed with ungodly gas pains. I think it's better now, maybe. It's going to be a long, nap filled day I think.
I finally have power, and hope to become a functional human being again. Need to go through my fridge and freezer at some point, and grocery shopping meh. I really just want to sit on the couch, watch terrible tv and eat ice cream and cheese curls.
We’re going to Erie, doing some shopping, and going to a hockey game tonight. DS was up at 7am yelling “Otters! Otters! Otters!” I’m hoping to find some basic maternity tees somewhere. My regular tees are all skin tight over my stomach now, and I have to pull them down every 5 minutes. So annoying. If Target doesn’t have anything I can actually try on, I might convince DH to stop at Walmart up there in hopes of finding a better selection than at my own WM.
Morning ladies! DS was up at 5am today thanks to an hour time change and sleeping in a different place. I’m so sleepy. Hanging out this morning at my sisters, then her and I are leaving around noon to head into the city and the concert is tonight! I know 2 people who went to the show last night and both said it was amazing! I’m super excited, I just hope I have enough energy to stay up late tonight!!
another early riser here too because DS claims he’s never tired. Need to grocery shop and still debating if I’ll join DH and DS to go to a party at a brewery an hour away later.
We have zero plans for the weekend and it feels wonderful. These pregnancy dreams are driving me crazy, I keep waking up all nervous because they feel so real and they aren't good. Also, DH farts all night long and it smells like rotting eggs and also wakes me up. I'm really surprised I didn't roll over and hurl.
I haven't been on a computer in forever to change my siggy. Sorry for the nuggets!
Hi loves!! It’s been a rough week with DS. He has been sleeping very badly. It was like the newborn stage again almost. But last night he decided to be cool and slept 7-4 without waking and then we brought him to bed and he slept until 6. Then DH got up with him and I have slept until almost 830. I feel like a new person. And DH and I are going the the movies tonight, one of those Lux Level ones where you get fancy seats and a waitress and food and drinks. CANT WAIT!! Hope you all are well today!!!
We are having a full 24 hours kid free for our anniversary. I’m partially excited and partially nervous it will go so bad my mom won’t even want to keep him when we have the new baby
Good Morning Ladies. Wow a lot of you are up already.
I was tossing and turning last night stressing about buying a new house. Racking my brain about our finances, etc. We are going to look at houses again today. We have eight scheduled so it will be a long day. We have a house that we put an offer on that got excepted, so today is a just let’s make sure before we give our deposit. I am excited and nervous because this will be a big change for us. We also have to decide what we are going to do with our house now and how much time we are going to wait until we list it for sell.
@ladygali is it a Live version of Rent or movie? That's my all time favorite musical, I'm jealous either way!
@lolog531 our time change is tonight and I'm rejoicing bc then ds will sleep until "6" instead of 5. Why the feck does he insist on rising before the sun and deciding he's too old for naps?
We're going to dh's work dinner tonight. Fabulous hibachi and (cooked) sushi for dinner for me! I'm excited to get a break with other adults for the evening. That also means I have to shower and super clean my house before the sitter gets here and make sure I have ds food pureed for the 2 meals we'll be gone for. Fx he will eat for her
@ssthomps congratulations!! I do mortgages for a living and I totally understand how stressful buying and selling is. Fx everything goes very smoothly for you guys
DS and I were supposed to meet up with friends at this really cool park and he woke up with a 101.4 fever. I feel so guilty that he can't see his friend and play that I have been sitting here crying my eyes out. I'm so emotional lately and cry at every little thing. Thankfully we don't really have any other plans this weekend but dang it, I feel so bad for DS.

Thank you. Good to know, I will let you know if I have any questions.
Still in bed but getting up in a bit to do food shopping. My head is pounding, yet again, and I just want to eat all the fast food (specifically Chipotle and Wendy's and maybe Taco Bell). We were supposed to sit and work on our registry this morning but DH is still not up.
Me: 28 DH: 29 Married: 6/2016 TTC #1: 12/2016 Benched due to deployment- Off the bench 8/8/17!
I woke up at 6:15 for some reason, and just couldn’t stay comfortable for more than a couple of minutes. DS keeps waking up and singing a song or two but then falling back asleep, so I went to the bathroom and now I’m bumping back in bed. No plans this weekend except for going to see the Easter bunny tomorrow. Today I want to start going through DS’s baby clothes to decide what to keep and what to sell. Thrilling, I know.

Sorry love I know how you feel, I’ve been like that lately too xox
@ecwk thanks. I have been super weepy lately; I was never like this with my son. I cried like 8 times already this morning. Most recently I cried because I couldn't stop crying. LOL. Lord help me.
Anyway, your date today sounds fabulous and good on DH for letting you sleep in after your rough week of newborn-like sleep. Have a fantastic time!
@elsieisamoocow I woke up at 6:20! So annoying! Don't our bodies know it's Saturday?
Hi All, happy Saturday! DS is doing the 2-to-1 nap transition and was grumpy this morning so I’m snuggling him for a 30 min siesta. Then we’re walking to the park for his 2nd week of swim lessons. Hopefully he hates it less than last week FX
I spent the first trimester going to sleep by 8 and now I'm struggling to fall asleep. I was up until 2 last night but slept until 10 this morning! I haven't done that in a looong time.
I've got a sprinkle shower for a friend today. Normally I am annoyed by these, but it's for a best friend hosted by another best friend and the plan is to eat and just sit around chatting while the husbands entertain the children in the backyard - sounds perfect to me!
DD2 has been waking up at 5:15am for the past week and if she doesn’t start sleeping later, I’m going to lose my mind. Do sleep regressions happen at age 3?
Shes also been fighting her daily nap and if she gives it up altogether, I might cry. I hear her stomping around up there and I really need her to sleep.
My mom might come by for a visit today and DH has a housewarming party in the city for a co-worker. I didn’t feel like making the trip, since no other spouses are going.
Holy cow. Just finished sorting through and trying on all the maternity tops my sister sent over. Sorted by season. I suddenly have 37 maternity tops. Fancy ones not shown here as they are hanging up. probably one of the best gifts I've ever received.
Well, Rent was fabulous! It’s been so long since I’ve seem the live show it was all “new” to me again. Also, probably some of the actors were babies when I saw it in NYC in 2000
I had a super productive day! We moved my DD’s playroom to the basement so we could clear out the upstairs bedroom for the new nursery. I also brought all the bins of DD’s clothes inside so that my neighbors could come and take what they want. I am so exhausted!!
Well, 7000 hours later, I finally have a new car! We ended up getting the 2018 Traverse, which was literally dead last on my list of cars I wanted to see. But for the very first time in my life, I didn’t get the base model cheapest POS that I could. I got like the mack daddy Traverse with a sun roof, leather, all sorts of fancy cameras, and all that jazz. I’m so excited. I have never had a nice car, ever. I’ll have to share a pic tomorrow, it’s too dark here to do it now. Hope everyone had a good day!
@doctormom33 Looks like you got a TON of stuff! What an awesome gift!
@melissaf22 the playroom looks amazing! So organized. Haha are you for hire? Ours could use some serious work
Any of the STM+ have or used the orbit stroller system? I have a the opportunity to get one from a local Mom friend with the car seat, base, toddler seat, and stroller for $300 which is a fraction of the cost of retail but I’d love to hear from anyone who may have used it
Well ds is sick. Dh and I went to his work dinner and ds had a cold (started the other day) and it got really bad while we were gone. Now I'm letting him sleep on me on the toy room couch so I can watch his vitals. It'll be a late night.
@ecwk I’m 18 w 4 d yesterday. I’ve felt him rolling for a while but unless it was an alien trying to burst out that’s what I saw! I’m hoping to recreate today hahah
Last night was such along night. I'm thankful dh stayed up with him until the wee hours in the morning. About 3am we switched. I'm exhausted and will be taking a nap today for sure
Re: Weekend Randoms 3/10
Tripping and flailing happened, but luckily no actual injury other than tweaking my back a little.
