Hmm. A confession just walked out my door

H had an appliance repair company here to look at our old refrigerator so he can resell it. While they were telling me what they found, one of them was checking me out. He wasn't my type but still, not bad looking. It's been a while since that's happen and it actually felt pretty good considering how my week had been.

I have a few boring ones.

I watch all shows with subtitles on. I’m not hard of hearing, I just feel like I am able to pick up on smaller details in the conversation than if I would have just been listening. My friends always laugh about it.

I bought some macaroons from Trader Joe’s and have them hidden in my freezer from DH. He always eats them all really fast and I prefer to have 1 a day until they are gone. I always make sure he is in the other room when I eat one.

I love pizza lunchables and still occasionally eat them.

@eleven_ I did that with girl scout cookies! They are hidden in plain sight though. H won't cook so he doesn't ever go in the pantry. I could have it stocked with anything I don't want him to touch and he'd never know lol if I bring them out though.... they're gone.

@eleven_ I have to do the same thing with candy. My MIL always gives us candy at the holidays first year we lived together we combined our stocking into one bag to bring home, I think I ate two pieces. Since then I've learned and keep mine hidden, usually in my nightstand since MH doesn't go in there.

I fake sympathy to DH when he whines about the cats not wanting to cuddle him, but I'm secretly pleased they are more attached to me than him, and enjoy the cuddles where they walk past him to sit with me.

@cate03 I keep my candy separate too! MIL brought over 5 small bags of Cadbury mini eggs about 2 weeks ago. 1 for me, 1 for each kid, and 2 for DH (eyeroll....). Want to take a guess on how many bags DH ate?

@eleven_, I do the same thing with subtitles. My husband complained about it when we first moved in together, but now I’ve won him over...or worn him down! I wish they had that option in movie theaters sometimes...

@catlady2015, I feel the same way about our cat. The cat and I were a family together for five years before DH even made his first appearance on the scene, and now DH clearly thinks he’s eventually going to be my equal in the cat’s eyes...I feel pretty smug every time this is proven to not be the case.

@eleven_ Subtitles were SO helpful when I first started watching Game of Thrones. I didn't read the books until I was halfway through watching the TV show so I had NO idea what was going on and there were so many character names. The subtitles made it so much easier to keep track. I think they're super useful with new and complicated shows with lots of characters and I could definitely see using them all the time!

@eleven_ I use subtitles for shows where they have an English accent. They talk so fast and I feel like I miss so much! Mh just recently came over to my side with that one. I love that you are even hiding eating your secret macaroons! Mh hates anything mint, so I've been known to buy mint choc chip ice cream and thin mint cookies so he won't eat it.

My confession - I wish we had a spicier FFFC. Or some drama from a drive by. I'm bored and pretending to work and want to dust off some gifs or laugh I just don't have anything to confess.

@eleven_ Subtitles on all my stuff too. I think that I am hard of hearing though, but then maybe it's just that I can't process verbals as fast. I'm not really sure.

@galactickates I like a spicy FFFC as well. I lead a pretty boring life so will rarely have anything exciting to confess.

@suzycupcake lol I do that to and if it's a sales person I just yell "NO!" And my dogs go crazy and they leave. I also keep my phone on silent and my voice mail says "please don't leave a voice mail. Text if you need something." I don't really need a professional voice mail message. I changed it for my wedding day and never changed it back. I probably won't

@galactickates I feel like I have spicier FFFCs but I'm too nervous lol. I probably would tell in a BMB because you get to know those girls over a longer period of time.

@eleven_ I used to have a escape but now I have a way too economical cmax. That was all H's pick to ease his guilt of the other two cars in our house. I picture you in a 4 runner or a land cruiser something that can make it to the Mt. I picture most people in subarus, and Honda crvs lol a couple priuses

@eleven_ we can officially NEVER watch Tv/movies together. I HATE subtitles. They are so distracting to me, like I can’t watch what’s going on in the movie and read at the same time. H watches movies with subtitles all the time and I have to leav the room!
@galactickates should I create an AE to start some drive bys

...question tho, what does AE even stand for? Lol Alternate ______??? I’ve read about them while lurking BMBs but I have no idea what it stands for.
I picture @eleven_ in a bronco...but only bc we just finished watched ST2 not that long ago.
