@MissKittyDanger Ha! She said she almost put those in her cart. She has severe dietary restrictions and the double stuf are her favorites. She didn't get them because she knew she wouldn't be able to control herself.
@kfren Pregnant or not, I have zero control around oreos. Random fact - all oreos except for mint are vegan/gluten free Learned that a bit ago because a mutual friend has celiac but can eat oreos
All I am craving is Graham crackers with chocolate frosting. Like a sandwich, or a poor person's Smores, lol. I'll have to buy another box of Graham crackers because my kids have eaten almost all of this one.

I am rather impulsively baking an apple pie. It’s quite close to dinner time to be undertaking this, especially since my apples are frozen, but I’m pretty sure I need it.
I saw chocolate cake on FB and was immediately craving it. My H was leaving to drop something off at his friend's house and I told him he can't come back without chocolate cake. Now I'm just waiting for DD's bedtime so I can enjoy some in peace.
I need to stay off Instagram, I feel like everyday there's a new post of someone's food and I have to have that food. Someone was posting about their Chick-fil-a for lunch and they had a sweet and spicy Sriracha dipping sauce. I've never had this flavor sauce from CFA so of course I required it. DH has brought CFA plus the sauce home for dinner. He even ordered me their diet lemonade because he knows what I like. Fingers crossed this magic sauce is everything I hope it will be, and if it isn't, I had him get me some Polynesian sauce as backup.
Not a fan of Oreo cream.... If I eat them I scrape the cream out of the middle! Or, to save the trouble I just get chocolate teddy grahams because they are like Oreo without the middle
I don't have a pic, but I made my favorite enchiladas last night for dinner along with a virgin margarita (aka Tres Agaves mix + club soda) and it really hit the spot. I'm definitely making a tray of these for a freezer meal before baby comes and really recommend this recipe. If you make them you have to make the sauce too because it's amazing and SO much better than storebought. https://www.gimmesomeoven.com/best-chicken-enchiladas-ever/
Guys...I've eaten key lime pie with every meal since I got down to Key West (excluding breakfast, but it defs happened at brunch).
I am currently trying to negotiate with my brother and dad to go to this donut shop to pick up donuts instead of a bakery to get pastries. Pregnant lady wants what the pregnant lady wants, man.
@LaceyBee522 we honeymooned in Key West. So jealous you're there right now! I could totally go for a chocolate dipped key lime pie on a stick right now.
So... my husband has bought both gourmet donuts and will be getting me Banoffee Crunch ice cream today!
Believe me , after the week I have had, I NEED this.
Basically Banoffee Pie in Ice cream form....
"Banoffee pie or "bananoffe" is an English dessert pie made from bananas, cream and toffee, combined either on a pastry base or one made from crumbled biscuits and butter. Some versions of the recipe also include chocolate, coffee or both"
Mama to a wonderful DD - Sep 2015, Wife to my DH since 2011, 2 dogs, a cat, and hoping to add No. 2 in May/June 2018. Canadian. 5 - IUIs, 3 - IVF retrievals, 2- failed transfers (fresh, and frozen), PGS on second IVF resulted in 1 perfect emby, and DD. 3rd IVF w PGS resulted in 3! perfect embys. 1st transfer - Sep 2017 2 more on ice.
This is more what I *wish* my pregnant self is eating. I'm watching Diners, Drive-ins and Dives (first mistake) and they were at this diner that made breakfast burritos full of bacon, egg and cheese using pancakes instead of a tortilla. Got my sweet/savory craving going crazy! I might have to attempt to recreate that this weekend.
Currently doing some hard core snacking on Planters Nuts & Chocolate trail mix at my desk. Peanuts, raisins, and M&Ms? Yes please.
First Son - born 2013

Wanted something indulgent for Saturday dinner. I made pork, braised red cabbage, and OMG THIS MAC AND CHEESE GNOCCHI https://www.gimmesomeoven.com/gnocchi-mac-cheese-recipe/ very rich, so I only ate a scoop and have leftovers!
Making a Trader Joe's trip today and I can't even tell you how excited I am! I am off because we had chaos ensue at work yesterday so I said I'd work and take today off.
TJ is only like 20 minutes from my house, but I can't control myself there and my regular grocery store is like 3 minutes away so I only go like once every 4 to 6 months. I am prepared to buy all the food today.
Anyone have any must have items? Definitely getting that cinnamon bread we were talking about last month.
@amys614 I'm the same way; TJ's isn't that far, but it's not often convenient to go there, so we always stock up when we go. My fave is the Chicken Gyoza potstickers with Gyoza sauce, served with their vegetable fried rice. I could eat it every day. Also , gimme all the Cookie Butter!
@amys614 +1 for cookie butter! Last time I went I could decide which flavor to get so I got all three. My fav was the oreo type one with the chocolate and cream swirl. Really good on strawberries, bananas, toast and pretzels.

@amys614@kfren I'm the same way with TJ's too and I was just saying to my husband that we should make another trip there for some munchies haha.
I love their mochi ice cream balls! +1 for the gyoza too. Any of their dips/spreads. Last time we got a red pepper and eggplant one that is sooo good. My husband loves the chocolate covered espresso beans (we still have some of those in the cabinet taunting me)
I typically love crunchy, but I was wanting stale puff cheetos. Idk why but I find stale puffs & stale salt & vinegar chips best lmao! Puffs are just greasier, so that may be why.
Yesterday I wolfed down toast and strawberry jam. That was amazing. And garlic bread on Saturday - AND THE GARLIC BREAD DIDN'T GIVE ME INDIGESTION!!!
I made it out of TJ alive, but with much less money than I went in with. Lol $186 less. I did buy produce but didn't buy any meat besides some nitrate free lunch meat and chicken sausage, so mostly a lot of random stuff.
I DID get the cinnamon bread, sourdough bread (for goat cheese, roasted red pepper spread panini), cookie butter, churro bites, shashito peppers (what do you do with these?!) hummus, more sauces, dips and spreads than I know what to do with, balsamic glaze, bacon sweet onion salad dressing, shelled edamame, some unique cheeses, creamy tomato soup crackers are on my most excited to try list. Oh and the everything bagel seasoning.
They had this sliced French brioche bread that looked like it would be DEVINE as french toast and pretzel bagels but I already had 2 bread products in my cart so i tried to control myself.
TJ sourdough bread is now my life. Today I used it with a red pepper eggplant spread and some of the "unexpected cheddar" I got with 2 pieces of prosciutto and made it ala grilled cheese style. It was so good, but the bread made it. Im already dreaming of tomorrow's concoction. Maybe I will do the artichoke spread with the fresh mozzarella.
@ffw0617 I tried to be good and pack my lunch with a couple snacks yesterday and that was gone by 11:30p. I’m always hungry. Oh and I’m still on my 4am cereal kicks.
Starbucks has these new things here that are basically egg bakes. I got the bacon & cheese. Soooo friggen good! I've now put eggs on my grocery list so I can make some egg bakes at home. Baby is going freakin nuts over it lol! Anything high protein makes her super active. My family is kind of excited for when we go for dinner on Sunday because it's a steakhouse lol
@MissKittyDanger well those sound lovely! I too, have a new affinity for eggs since pregnant. I eat one most mornings on some avocado toast. The weird part for me is that I never liked them runny, like not even a little, and now while it has to be just the right amount of run while still being a little solid, I will dip my bread in all that glory. It probably would have made me gag prepregnancy. Egg yolks are so creamy and wonderful to me now.
The eggs at Starbucks are called Sous-vide Egg Bites and y'all should eat all of them because my company supplies them the eggs, though admittedly they are a bit overpriced but we have no say in that. They are great when you are running errands and need a high protein snack and not just a muffin or bar.
