I'm still having a love affair (mostly against my will) with dairy. I can't stop. I think about it all day every day. If I could I think I would subsist on cheese. I keep trying to cut back but my efforts are all ultimately undermined by overwhelming cravings.
I don't know if it's because I'm a little under the weather or what, but I just ate two oranges and they were the most satisfying thing I've had to eat in recent memory. It was like an event.
DH went to the grocery store last night for his usual gallon of icecream for the week (damn him and his metabolism) and he found coolwhip with brownie pieces. there's oreo also. I took a spoon straight to the container. I could probably have finished off the whole container like a bowl of icecream. I mean, coolwhip is better than icecream... right?

@Austenista Every morning with out fail DS runs to the fridge and points to the cheese drawer until his demands are met. He is most definitely my child. If I could find vegan cheese that came close to comparing to the real thing then maybe nope. Just nope.
@kfren vegan cheese is mostly gross. TJ's has a cream cheese that does the trick on a bagel and Chao cheese is pretty okay. The shredded kind though? Yuck across the board for me.
My first random, would never request without being pregnant "craving" hit... Bless DH heart he picked it up for me. Neapolitan ice cream, so weird but kind of good lol.
I'm pretty sure I ate triple digit quantities of jelly beans yesterday. I don't even like jelly beans. They were the sweet tart ones, so better than most, but even so, not really sure why I kept shoving them in my mouth
I'm on the m&m train here because I bought a huge bag for DS's potty training incentives. I have to sneak when I eat them so I don't get lectured. ("But you didn't go potty!") Plus I eat way more than the measly 2 he gets for each pee.
@krashke I've talked about Dunkin' Donuts February special of brownie batter filled donuts... the cream in these remind me of the brownie batter. It's not a runny cream, little more solid. A-maz-ing. We don't even buy the regular in this house. I get chocolate and dh gets the carmel Cadbury lol

y'all, I don't know how you get away with saying the caramel eggs or the mini eggs are the best. I am willing to give the chocolate a try but I imagine it won't compare to the original creme eggs.
I do get the mini creme eggs because they are more manageable than one big one and I don't feel as bad about eating three.

Give me all the ice cream. Any flavor. I think I'm getting a Frostie from Wendy's for my commute home.
I was dairy free for almost a year due to nursing and DS2's milk protein allergy. I could find an acceptable substitute anything (whip cream, coffee creamer, milk, yogurt, etc.) EXCEPT cheese. I missed cheese so dearly. The entire time I told DH that my first post nursing meal would be a cheese pizza with a side of homemade macaroni and cheese, and a tall milkshake. Man, I hope this one doesn't have any allergies...

I packed my lunch for work this morning. Leftover chicken and rice from last night's dinner. And a mini Reese's cup. And a granola bar. And an unopened box of Thin Mints... I say I'm restocking my snack drawer, but over half a sleeve of cookies is gone and it's not even 3 pm...

@2589 that looks delicious! I think I even have all the ingredients on hand so I'm going to try it this week Thanks for sharing.
I tried the new Starbucks hazelnut mocha coconut milk macchiato this morning. Obnoxiously long name aside, it was very good. And since I had a free drink reward, of course I got a venti Baby and I might be wired today.

Not pictured: insanely good strawberries from the bougie Melrose farmers market, tumeric ginger milk boba tea, vegan Cuban rice, vegan bao.
Would strongly reco the LA smorgasburg. Would not reco the ny one if you dislike crowds in small spaces. They are similar tho.
(Also we saw Common at Alfred tea lol, DH was oddly excited)

Also love cheese, so I could never be vegan. And I love beef jerky, so I couldn't last as a vegetarian.

Can’t forget these little Cadbury’s, guys!!
So, I'm like 5 lbs away from my suggested weight gain for this pregnancy. I suppose I better watch the crap I keep eating.
