Agree! I try to like it, but I’m just not a fan. Sour beer is ok though.

It kinda makes it not taste like beer... I only just discovered it RIGHT before I got pregnant, and it tasted more equivalent to like a cider than a beer. Hard cider is my jam, and now I kinda want some
I don’t mind when people I know ask if I’m pregnant. Actually I kind of prefer it. Especially at work with people I see rarely. It’s weird to me not to talk about it at all because at this point they’ve obviously noticed, but it also feels weird to walk into a meeting and say “hey everybody! Look at me, I’m pregnant!”. So yeah, I prefer that they bring it up.
@zg49 I love beer and sour beer is a particular fave of mine. @noideawhatshesdoing I am also a huge beer snob, I can't drink normal domestic beer I'm pretty much a craft beer person. I wont even drink beet at chain restaurants cuz it's all Miller lite and stuff. I'm horrible I know!

@zande2016 I’ve really been against zoos and circuses ever since my undergrad days where I had to study gorillas within a zoo- what I observed and learned throughout that research is really upsetting. I won’t support them now. I also rescued my dog from a kill shelter! She’s amazing
@SmashJam yay craft beer! No judgement from me! Made cupcakes with one of my faves yesterday (salted caramel porter from Cascade Lakes), just because I can't drink it right now doesn't mean I shouldn't find another way to enjoy it.
@tarheelgirl8 same! I hate all the attention being about me but I like talking about baby and pregnancy and stuff. Also, I’m chubby so if you’ve managed to think I’m actually pregnant and not just fat then I’m super happy.
All this talk of beer really makes me want a beer. I had a sip of DH’s beer last night, some craft IPA and it made me very excited only 19 weeks and 3ish days to go!

DS passed away Nov 2020 due to prematurity and birth trauma. TTC: March 2021 IUI #1 Nov 2021, BFN IUI #2 Dec 2021 BFP. MC Jan 2022 IUI #3 Aug 2022 BFN IUI #4 Sept 2022 BFN AMH test came back at .081. Was going to move on to IVF with DE, but have decided not to. Will be leaving it up to the universe now.
I prefer white wine but I'll have a cold beer every once in a while but definitely not dark or sour beers, ew!
ETA clearly not for a few months...I'm actually wondering if I'll feel like drinking again at all but I'm sure the kid will make me wanna at some point , lol
@paytonpedro Amen to disliking character clothing!! I'll even go as far as saying I dislike (most) graphic onesies/tshirts. H&M has the best line of solid color fashionable clothing for toddlers and that is what my DS lives in. I'm already cringing thinking about the "mommy's little princess" onesies I'll be sure to receive from someone.
@foxbaby2016 - don't worry - they don't make many onsie's about mommy/daughter - they're all DADDY's little princess or sweetheart. I hated all of the graphic tee's - all went in the daycare drawer. Be prepared for a sea of pink and frills, though. We've now gotten this same ugly pink lace ruffle shirt in infant and toddler size from one aunt - I call it the pink pirate shirt
