I feel like I'm the worst at work. Today I was giving a kestrel presentation and for half of the talk, I couldn't come up with the words "bird of prey." I kept saying hunter in the sky. Lol.

I got a phone call at work from someone in a different department asking about a project I completed. I was taking some notes so I wouldn't forget to do the follow ups she requested. I'm reading my post-it note and on the bottom is says "April Drive". Neither of these words related in any way to the phone conversation we had.
MH and I were in the kitchen cooking dinner together. I was reading the recipe and his beer was sitting on the counter. Without even thinking I picked it up and took a big swig. I had a moment of “should I spit this out” look on my face. I just swallowed it. Not a big deal just funny.

I have one (boy) child and one (girl) dog. It shouldn't be hard to keep their names straight. Or so you'd think...I mix them up on a daily basis. It's only going to get worse in June.
Saturday I was making soup in the crock pot {turned out great, just a heads up!} and I put it all together, left the kitchen.
About 1/2 hr - 45 mins later, I think "did I even turn it on?" I did not. I'm glad I thought about it then, or else 6hrs later I'd be pissed lmao!
When I got up, my H asked what I was doing - I guess I had a look on my face? - and told him not to laugh, walked into the kitchen, turned on the crock pot and he asks if I forgot to turn on the crock pot. I just look at him and walk away. He didn't laugh - that I could hear - but I'm sure he was just being nice :')
I was driving home from the grocery yesterday. When I could see the house I suddenly realized it was the wrong house. We moved in December and I drove "home" to the old house on auto pilot. The stupid part was, I literally drove PAST our new house to get to the old one without noticing. Geesh. The houses are only about a half mile apart, but still.

Pregnancy brain is super dangerous traveling abroad, y'all. Definitely forgot my passport in the safe in the room when I was leaving Toronto yesterday. Thank gawd I realized it before I left for the airport....but that could have been bad.
I keep forgetting my train of thought in the middle of talking. So embarrassing at a work meeting last week when I started off with a great point and forgot everything I wanted to say in front of everyone.
I love reading these, I always get a good chuckle (and feel less alone in my silly gaffes).
Pregnancy brain is hard at work over here this morning. I put my cup of tea in the microwave and sat waiting for it to beep for a few minutes before I realized I never set the timer. Then I was trying to make a smoothie and couldn't get the blender to work. I have a bullet type blender where you push the cup down onto the base to start it. So I'm standing there slamming, twisting, getting annoyed with the dang thing...oh yeah, it wasn't plugged in (I feel ya @MissKittyDanger).
The best was when I opened the back door to call my dog inside and yelled, "Benjamin!!!" (DS's name)...I've mentioned before that I keep mixing them up but I've never yelled it before, especially outside. I hope my neighbors don't think I'm yelling at my one year old at 7am. hahaha...
I feel like I'm not as sharp mentally right now. Like considerably less able to articulate myself, think as critically as I'm used to being able to, and my concentration is non existent. I love to read and right now I can't concentrate long enough to read a book.
