@crossfitbabybump I need one of those puppies!! I've been feeling the itch to get another dog so badly lately, but I know this would be a terrible time to do that! haha
@becausescience the Reese's shapes are sooo much better! Same with Kraft mac & cheese--those shapes are way better than the regular stuff too!
I really hope people bring in their leftover Valentine's Day candy to work like they did with their Halloween candy... yum.
I ate some conversation hearts today and LO went crazy kicking me all over the place!! I guess that's what essentially pure sugar will do to a baby!! LOL
@DDRRT1982 just saw you had our cerclage out because I am a dork! Congrats Have you just returned to your normal activity? I hope our LO decides to give you a little time before busting out.

Ya, it was clipped, but not completely removed bc it wouldn't come out. He said I should dilate like normal. I am sure he will check me on Monday and see if he can pull on the left over string. I am back to normal activity. I pretty much feel nothing abnormal right now, so I am guessing she is in there for the long haul.
@cford yes! The string actually broke. It has every time. My cerclage only comes out in pieces normally. When my third cerclage was being put in, my MFM found part of my cerclage from my first cerclage. The missing one.
@DDRRT1982 omg didn't even think about them having to leave pieces in. That's amazing that you still dilate normally though. It's been almost a week for me and I was sure he'd be out here by now. But you're a testament to your body knowing exactly what to do when it needs to do it!
i went to my reg doc on Sunday to see why I was feeling so weak and out of breath. She drew blood to make sure everything was fine. I got the results yesterday and asked for it to be sent over to my ob. This morn I was feeling really horrible and haven't felt the baby move much in 36 hours, so ob told me to come in and make sure all was good. He pulled the blood work out takes a look at the numbers and is like no way this is yours. Turns out, they faxed some 65 yr old woman's blood work instead. Felt bad to waste his time waiting for them to resend the correct bloodwork but I was so surprised that the other doc office cud not even take a minute to make sure they sending the correct paperwork!! All is good with baby thank god, and the severe weakness is being chalked up to pregnancy
For Valentines day this year I got a swab and a cervical check. I.... have at least had worse valentines days, haha (also my carseat finally arrived, and everything at my appointment went well, baby is right on track).
However The owner of DHs company took him to lunch today and gave him a baby gift. We knew he had one for us and he can be a little off the wall so we weren’t sure what to expect but he got us this awesome baby carrier and we were shocked.
@baybeesunflower - I was in bed last night by 7:30 and slept til about 10 and then woke up with painful contractions and so uncomfortable. I was up the rest of the night... I look a hot mess today lol!
My shirts are getting pretty short. I am going to have to switch to dresses and long tunic type shirts if this baby doesn’t come soon. DH was joking around and asked how I reached to do anything past my belly:
Just spent the holiday Monday to myself, and soaking in the last days of independence. OB this morning (2 cm dilated), diner breakfast, mani/pedi, a two mile walk with my dog and a nap.
I'm ready to have this baby and doing everything I can to prep: 6 dates a day, evening primrose oil, walks, and birth ball bouncing. Anything I'm missing? This anticipation is no joke...
@DDRRT1982 It’s been pretty good. Mostly watching MH do last minute stuff and sitting on the couch (I’m not supposed to be doing much). BP was a bit higher today and almost went in early, but are able to stay home one more night it looks like. I’m scared but also pretty excited. We are preparing for a potentially long induction and tomorrow night is just cervical ripening so probably won’t be our last night, just our last night at home. Feels pretty strange TBH.
Re: Randoms starting 2/7
Why are the Reese's shapes sooooo much better than the regular cups?

@stlbuckeye132 - adopt one!! lol
I hope if people bring in their leftover candy, that I've already left for my maternity leave. That's the last thing I need is more candy! lol
