Thank you all for for the well wishes and ideas. Baby and I are doing great. I went to the doctor and after hearing all my symptoms, headaches, dizziness and fatigue along with my fainting in the morning. She concluded that I need to be eating more. Especially breakfast- which I never eat before I get to work- her response was well you’ve never been 18 weeks pregnant before. Touché doc. Hopefully with eating more in general and more frequently my symptoms will get better and I won’t faint again. Fingers crossed. I had a spinach, strawberry, blackberry smoothie for breakfast this morning and I already feel more energized and overall better.
I truly appreciate your kind words yesterday, I was getting a little nervous. Doc did say if symptoms continue or get much worse I would have to get a cardiologist check up. But thats the worst case scenario.
I’m like look I will eat more if that what will help for sure! She recommended eating 6 times a day.
@catftm2018 I find that now I have to eat first thing when I get up, around 7:00am, just a granola bar or something, otherwise by time I get to work around 8:00 I have the shakes. I used to wait until 9-9:30 to eat something, but can't. (and I still eat again around 9:30-10) Just small snacks every few hours should do the trick!

I've seen this complaint a few times, but I haven't felt it til now - One huge downside to second trimester is the lack of appointments and long stretches you go without seeing or hearing the baby's heartbeat. I'm in serious withdrawal and my next appointment isn't until Wednesday. Even though I'm sure things are fine, I can't help but worry because it's still to early for me to really feel the baby all the time. This is great training for motherhood since I'm sure I will be feeling this overall sense of worry until the end of time.
@nimmle it is tough to relax but just know that we made it this far with healthy babies and there is no reason to think something has to go wrong. It's very hard for me because I'm a hypochondriac but I need to force myself to trust the process and the statistics, plus my doctor. If he thinks that there's no reason to have an appointment sooner than 4 weeks it means things are well:) they did see something with my cord that is not necessarily reason for concern now but that they want to monitor so they scheduled an extra ultrasound. Other than that I just have to live with the tiny movements I feel a few times a day and know he is ok! I forget how far along you are but I really only feel him 2-3 times a day (I also have an anterior placenta which does a lot of padding).
@acunamatada@moguippy I’ve been the same way! As soon as we get home from a restaurant where I was absolutely stuffed, I’ll eat my leftovers because somehow riding in the car in the way home makes me starving lol I eat at least 3 breakfasts and usually have lunch around 11 because I’m too starving to wait anymore! It’s nice to know I’m not alone!
im still gagging and will every once in a while puke if the gagging/dry heaving doesn’t stop quickly enough. Happens daily. Can’t sleep. On either side of my belly button, it will sometimes feel really sore like it’s bruised (I assume from stretching). I’m either so full I am almost about to puke or so hungry I am about to puke. Lol. And I’m still getting the rage hormones. I get angry very quickly. And I can’t stop it. I try very hard. Lol.
