@crossfitbabybump like @becausescience said her heart rate could dip because of position or the cord. More than likely it happens during a contraction and is common. Since they let you go I am guessing her HR recovers and no intervention is needed. Usually, HR dips like you are describing (Decels) resolve after delivery because baby isn't stressed from cord compression or positioning any longer.
@crossfitbabybump I didn’t mean to down your purchase! Like I said, I’ve read the newer version handles alarms or false alarms differently, so they may have improved it! I just can’t spent the $200-$300 again to find out.
We’re buying the Snuza Go. From my understanding it doesn’t alarm to wake the baby if there is no movement, but alarms us. Which is preferable for us since there is a high rate of false alarms. We didn’t have one with our first and DH would watch him for hours at night to make sure he was breathing and wake him a lot. I’m hoping this will settle DH anxiety
No problem! I will test it out and if I don't like it, I will see if I can just sell it to a friend, I have about 6 others I know are pregnant now lol. My SIL has the Snuza so I will see how she likes it, too!
Our neighbor gave us their Snuza b/c their daughter just made a year and was done with it. She had one false alarm the whole time. I'm hoping we have the same luck!

Any stm+s with sensitive skin that can advise on how tucks pads worked for them?
Ive got almost comedically sensitive skin, i havent used witch hazel anything in years and recall it not playing very nicely with the skin on my face, so im a little afraid of tucks pads atm, but i dont want to nix them completely if they might be useful.
@calecorvus If you've had reactions to witch hazel I'd pass. They feel nice and are cooling, but there are other options. Ice, aloe, sprays, etc could work better for you.

So kind of a dumb question, but I can't figure it out. Where do you find lanolin/nipple balm at the store? I'm collecting things I'll need soon and have been to walgreens, walmart, and target, and I have no idea where to look. I think I'm looking in the wrong isles!
@jgl907 I've only purchased it at Meijer, and it was in a small little nursing section by the rest of the baby aisles. You can also for sure find it at Buy Buy Baby or Babies R Us.
@jgl907, Buy Buy Baby has a section with that stuff. The one I went to it was in the area with other lotion stuff. You might want to avoid lanolin just because it's kind of sticky, like doesn't slide on smooth/easy (catches on the skin). Earth Mama Angel Baby is a popular option for a nipple butter (can also be used as a moisturiser as well) and is available at that store and on Amazon. I'm sure other stores carry nipple balms too, like Babies R Us, I just haven't looked at other places for it.
